Okay so! Page 10! This is where the NSFW comic truly introduces the internal force that I've been wanting to explore this entire time.

Tang's Feywild curse.

When emotions run rampant and a Barbarian needs to rage, Tang uncontrollably transforms himself into a feywild werebeast, a horrid, exaggerated reflection of himself that brims from the core of his flesh and bones. Gone is the rationale of a man, and here rises a mind so addled with madness and confusion that Tang becomes nothing more than a primal force of muscle and sinew, hellbent on fulfilling his base instinct to devour.

Little did Tang know that - for the purposes of this comic - his urge to devour extends to LUST.

YES!!! IT FINALLY BEGINS. Down with the fluff and into my monster-lover/corruption/taming kinks! Okay but for real, Monster Tang is precisely the reason why I did rewrites of these pages in the first act. Absolutely knew what I wanted, just didn't know how to pinpoint that.

Y'know how I said this when I posted Page 9?

It's just, I gradually realized that [Tang being tied to a chair] is a weak idea, doesn't really externalize at all what I want Tang to be seen thinking once the curse begins to take over in the next page. So I removed the binds.

Resistance is the concept of the night. I wanted Act 1 to portray Tang resisting the call of the curse that transforms him and failing. So that in Acts 2 and 3 that's where Brondar learns to subdue and tame the monster, making Tang, or at least his completely unleashed state wholly possessed by carnal instinct, into his pet submissive top. But in order for Tang's failure at resisting to make that impact I'm searching for, the imagery of his struggle has to be purely mental...

And THAT is why I drew Tang completely free of binds.

To tie Tang to ropes would be classic; having him struggle to keep his body at bay while fur and teeth erupts from him, seeing the ropes fray and begin to snap, that is always good. But for me it robs Tang the essential opportunity to exert his agency against the curse during the sexual interaction. He feels it simmering in his skin, and yet he actively chooses to sit in a chair and clamp down. To me, this way is so much better at showing how much of a fight Tang is putting with himself to not let loose and rip Brondar in half. But it also shows the flaw that he's doing this while letting Brondar still fondle him. Tang's not letting himself communicate the curse to him at the risk of disappointing Brondar by interrupting this - probably his only -night where he has Tang all to himself.

After all, Tang is the party tank. Constantly put in a role of their aegis, Tang's the type to protect, shield, and endure the worst burdens. This would also make him a people pleaser, even more so since he's so tangled up in interpersonal stuff happening in-game. All of this makes the start of Tang and Brondar's sex messy... and it's SUPER interesting to me.

(I do have a page planned where they do pause to talk about it! Brondar ends up okay with the monster curse and does end up trying to help Tang control it in Acts 2 and 3).

........ I put way too much thought into the story behind the smut. Oh my goodness.

But yeah! Super glad I get to talk about the whys in this particular part. Just wanna say real quick, thanks so much for taking the time to support me and this comic and reading the behind the scenes, I appreciate all of you! Will post the next page soon, stay tuned!
