Page 2 is complete!!!!! And here's me just lightly treading that attraction between Tang and Brondar further and further. Brondar has his shirt off in this one, and I gotta say after drawing him repeated throughout Act 1 in his dress shirt I was thinking to myself: FINALLY. He doesn't have a shirt. I can draw his muscles and his stocky build and his ab-layered GUT!!!!!!! And I FINALLY get to draw what Tang has absolutely been yearning for throughout the comic: a piece of him.

A little fun tidbit, in the sessions where the night of the ball took place Tang had a plethora of suitors to choose from while the plot thickened around the rest of the party, and out of all the men Brondar and one other person stood out to him in particular. The silver-haired gentleman who's supposed to be an seasoned arena fighter.

His name was Matthias and he fancied Tang too, and had he not self-admitted that he constantly looks down on the lower classes on fantasy society, Tang would have had a much harder choice in choosing who he'll be with. Because Tang was taught as a kid that nobility must serve the commonfolk as much as the commonfolk serves them. A kind hand in a world of lords and ladies that rarely offer it, Tang's kinda seen as an amalgam with rose-tinted glasses due to his altruistic tendencies.

But it's because of those tendencies that Tang has been able to win a LOT of hearts wherever he goes, as he's seen in-game as a beacon of hope for those that wish for heroes, a fighter that advocates love for thy fellow neighbors. A reason why Brondar fell for him, and the reason why Tang chose against Matthias in the end.

Also poetic that this love for Tang is juxtaposed by the monster underneath!!!! For if Tang fully succumbs to the curse of the fey he risks taking the lives of those he vowed to protect. OOOOH the angst, I LOVE IT.

Aside from all that background knowledge regarding this page, it was also a breath of fresh air to use dominantly cooler colors for the background. The rooms in Act 1 and this Intro is purely candlelit which makes for warm backgrounds, but after getting to color the night outside sky I'm gonna change up the storyboard just a tad, in a way that Acts 2 and 3 are going to have different colors for the background. I gotta expirement, this is gonna be fun.
