I wasn't expecting any questions, but I did have a few, which is awesome! So, ahem:

Characters/ROs:

1. What are the RO's giving and receiving love languages?Soooo, here's what I wrote in my note:

El = Giving: Before = words of affirmation, physical touch. After = quality timeReceiving: Before = physical touch. After = words of affirmation

Athiel = Giving: quality time, physical touchReceiving: Everything.

Ekissa = Giving: quality time, act of service, gifts Receiving: acts of service, words of affirmation

L =Giving: words of affirmation, giftsReceiving: acts of service, quality time

T = Giving: acts of service, quality timeReceiving: physical touch, words of affirmation

2. Will we know more about MC's past?

Yes. My note says chap 7.

3. What are the ROs favorite movies, and if they don't care for movies, do they have a favorite book?

I didn't read many books in my entire life that weren't manga, fanfic on wattpad, romance, thriller or also a few horror, so I'll give what genres the ROs would likely prefer instead. (I did read a few books, but I never remember the names, lol. Like that one romance with a problematic author that made me stop reading not even after two pages....)

T is the typical workaholic. Movies? Please, give them work, that's all they want. But if they had to choose, their favorite movie would likely be 'Hacksaw Ridge'. Surprisingly, books aren't their thing either. They don't mind reading thrillers, romance books from time to time, though. Yes, romance.

Athiel loves horror movies, thrillers and crime movies, true crime documentaries too, if you hadn't gotten the hint already hahaha. Their faves would be 'Carrie', 'Saw', 'The grudge', 'My little reindeer'. Books? No thanks.

Ekissa's favorite movies would be 'I am Legend' and 'High School Musical'. MC can tease them about it, but they don't really care - they ate that shit up and still do, watching High School Musical annually. They're more a book lover tho, so I'd say everything about suspense and action.

L's favorite movies would be "White Chicks" or even "Crazy Kung-Fu". L watches a bit of everything - comedy movies, documentaries about animals, the world, etc., k-dramas, anime. Same for books, though they prefer drama.

El favorite movies would be "Titanic" and "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button". Their favorite genre of books would be anything that marked a person, like biographies or anything related to true stories. It's something El loves to read.

4. Is there a point to the relationship/route with Chelsea/Maxime? (I added this one myself cuz I wanna answer hahaha)

Yes, your choices will affect their routes. Maxime has a 'good' ending either way, just different versions of it, but Chelsea's future is literally in your hands, folks. She won't die or anything, though.

5. Would El have proposed to MC eventually? Why hadn't they already? Was it because they didn't think the MC was ready?

El would've likely proposed to MC, yes. But much later, because after a few months of dating MC they were already living together. It was fast, and yes, it felt natural. But El knew MC wasn't ready yet. MC had, and still has, to work on themself. El would have accepted if MC had the courage to propose that night at the restaurant, because El can't find it in themself to deny MC or themself the happiness and overjoy to be linked forever. Though, they still would've nudged MC to completely let go of their resentment, anger, hurt, pain and most of all, sadness. They'd try to guide MC to acceptance or at least acknowledgement, even if that would've taken years.

Author:

1. Who is your favorite character to write for?

Don't do that to me. I can't choose any of them, not because I wanna be fair, but because they're all appealing to write for me. L is the most recent one I could fully grasp. You can tell at the start of LAD that I didn't really know how to write them, and the difference shows compared to how I write them now. I needed to show their pushy and insistent side first, but I didn't completely understand their character. So currently I'd say L just for this reason, but in general, it varies. It depends on my mood, I guess?

T is such a good character to write because of the duality they have, stoic and distant, yet such an open cutie with MC, while staying just as stoic (or at least, trying). Ekissa is also satisfying to write, their grumpiness mixed with how honest they can be with MC, not caring about appearances if they have to apologize or throw their pride in the trash for MC.

Athiel is all about that angst and pain that keeps festering inside them, about how people always saw them, about having had one too many crushes stolen, about not being loved equally by their parents.

And there's El, writing them has been just as fascinating. The friendly, calm and playful El turning into someone different, vulnerable. The fact that I've written their past personality adds such an attachment for me as an author too.

2. What are you most excited to write next?

Writing the reunion, definitely. Which is coming up pretty soon, either on chap 4 or chap 5, depending on your past choices or route. Being on El's route doesn't mean you'll meet them in sooner, btw. Also, writing about how El changed. And starting to deepen the bond between MC and their RO. And ultimately, writing the focusing on the heart of LAD: MC and their past.

3. How many chapters did you plan?

I think I answered this on tumblr, I'm not sure. I initially planned 10 chapters. The five first chapters are meant to be about the drama around the car accident, Juliet, El and two other people. The five other chapters are supposed to be about MC's past and their RO. It could end up a bit more or a bit less, though. My planning is such a mess, that's why I never detail each chap and just write down important things that are supposed to happen, which sometimes leads me to remove some stuff because I either find it irrelevant or it's just too soon.

4. Do you rest sometimes?

Ahahahah, actually, coding is the only thing that helps me 'rest'. It helps disconnect my brain for a bit, away from writing anything. I usually start to code when I feel like I'm starting to get overwhelmed. And as I discussed with a patron recently (or maybe you're the one who asked that one? Either way-), I plan to take a week off once I'm done with the rewrite and chap 4.

Anyway, back on track. If coding is far ahead, I lower my words quota for the day to add some relief. And if lowering my quota doesn't help, I skip scenes to write what would boost my energy. If it still doesn't help, I take a ten minutes break, watch stuff that could boost me a bit, tiktoks about relationship, drama stuff, quotes/dialogues/relation dynamics on pinterest, etc. Music helps too sometimes.

Most of the time I leave a show/movie/song running in the background while I write. I always do that, idk why, helps feeling less 'alone', not sure how to explain it. Or I simply take a day off if nothing works. I avoid doing that, though, cause considering this hobby as a job also means seeing it as "you don't see any 'normal' workers taking days off when they feel like it".

And that's all for the Q&A!

Yeah... L has a habit of sneaking up on you I find lmfao. Probably the same reason you've enjoyed writing for them. E and T may have my heart but L certainly wormed their way in.
