to add to the skull suggestion, I think a cauldron, cat skull, pumpkin, bat and jack o lantern would be other awesome versions! Maybe a crystal ball or candle in a candlestick. ooh or a raven!

Is there an easy way to remove the bottom book to make this a 3 book stack?

Split to parts, delete the bottom book pieces, then drop the remaining parts down to the plate

these book stacks are standalone single clickers. they don't have the correct orientation to act as a keycap for the bookshelf series
