Hi everyone!

A friend of mine who's a composer and musician recently started working on a new jazz-inspired project for a game studio. Knowing I was looking for something similar, he jammed out this track for Battle Mage Royal while he was working on the other project!

Time allowing, he'd like to try out a few other things for Battle Mage Royal, but for now, we have our first original soundtrack and I LOVE IT!

People who've been by my streams know I'm fond of jazz for background ambience and I believe it will work great for the game as well. I can't wait to hear this playing in the game!

The track name makes me think of the suggestion someone put in for a weather system. I know it'd be hard to do bg art for that, but this, maybe along with faint rain sounds while in the Arbo, would go a long way.

I agree, I also think it could go well with simply having different soundtracks for particular seasons in-game. That way, the music becomes an indicator of what events, items, etc. are available. Autumn might be the rainy month, for instance.
