It’s very hard to get over the abandonment of a parent, but since Abby is actually trying to still be in her life and it seems that Elise and Abby still have a good relationship after their romantic relationship fell apart, I have hope that Alex and Abby will come to an understanding eventually. It’s obvious that Abby loves Alex and just wants to be in her life again, so that’s a good start. So long as she doesn’t give up and keeps trying I think they’ll get there in time. What I really hope for is Tricia and Elise finding a way to be with one another. I mean is it really fair for Alex to condemn either of them for finding love in each other? It’s not her life so why should she be the one to dictate who her mother loves or who her friend loves? I’m not sure if this is a cultural issue that I’m not understanding fully but I am having a hard time wrapping my head around around why it should make a huge mess if they were to date… Tricia is if legal age in college and so is her daughter. They aren’t children. Is she younger? Yes… but it’s not like it’s a huge age difference either.
