My favourite K-Drama with an idol is "Hotel Del Luna" (starring IU). Has romance, has fantasy/supernatural stuff, has a bit of horror aspects, and comedy ofcourse. Also has some other idols in some roles. Really fun.

IU is my favourite idol/actor and my favourite drama of hers and the best kdrama in my opinion is My Mister, it’s a drama/slice of life it might seem heavy but it’s very healing and has the best writing and characters in a kdrama you can’t help but feel for them and I can’t recommend it enough. I watched it on Netflix a few years ago but I’m not sure if it’s still up there.

You could watch Joongki's dramas as well. Like Descedants of the Sun and Reborn Rich (my favorite drama of his). For Idols, Yoona and Lee Junho had K-drama together last year called "King the Land". She's also in "Big Mouth", "K2" and "Love Rain" and some good movies like "Exit" and "Confidential Assignment 1 &2". Sooyoung has a lot of good dramas as well like "I married an Anti-fan", "Run On", "If you wish upon me" and "Not Others". Yuri had a period drama called "Bossam: Steal the Fate", most of her other works are comedy drama. Seohyun has "Love and Leashes", "Jinx at first Sight", etc.

Great running man race with SNSD. Some of my favorite idols turned actors (and their dramas) are IU (Hotel del Luna) and Im Si-wan (Strangers from Hell - thriller, a bit mystery, horror). Other drama recommendation that may interest you is Vincenzo - Crime, Comedy, Law. It has Song Joong Ki and Ok Taec Yeon.
