AshAmed08

The sound scaping and audio editing is INSANE, Esther appreciation is needed right now

Aiden Stamps

Loving the energy in this episode. Can't wait for more!

Heartland Animation

This was the most incredible episodes I think y’all have done. The sound design was absolutely insane, from the opening to the end. The scene with Trudy was haunting, Kelsey and Francis was hilarious, and Tony’s was incredible too. Holy shit guys. I loved the moth stuff too, wow wow wow.

Shane Compton

From start to finish this episode did not disappoint.so good…so creepy

Maslin Boten

Women can be women, moths can be moths

I hate Italians

This was hilariously out of control, like even more out of control than some of the season 2 stuff. This is what I’m here for babyyyy😂

Rhedd

the opening scene with Trudy is very reminiscent of Markus in Detroit Become Human!

The Overthinker

This whole episode was absolutely amazing!

Peter B

GiVE mE yoUR fACe!!

Whachamacallit

Holy crap that mine shaft scene was excellent! I haven't listened to the rest yet, but I'm loving it so far

J.S.

If you haven’t played Call of Cthulhu before, player characters die all the time. You’re normal people coming up against Gods and Monsters.

ADoubleEgg

Anyone else feel like Tony's got a pet hampster complex

Atticus0w0

I was not prepared for The Boys reference lmaooo. God I love this podcast

Garrett Durham

Freddie ranting about his fact sounded like “What’s my crime? Enjoying a SUCCULENT TONY FACT?”

Lizzy French

"Maybe mom was right about you" ICE COLD lmao

Crazyme

I love that Francis is the most bullied kid but acts like a badass in fights

Nathan Dunkin

Just in case no one has begged you to keep playing KINGDOM DEATH MONSTER…

Henry G

Love it when the gang just hijacks the episode

Ochy Dochy

Who'd've thunk my weird under-the-bed muppet art of Francis can now be pointed at "that's the moment it snapped, officer"

Laeticia

now....I'm a little scared of anthony

Halophyte

Hey wtf is a school marm? I refuse to google

Widget

when matt did the king on the phone it made me cackle. His outburst are so fucking funny

Andria Chizen

Such a great episode, definitely in my top 10 favorites. Tuesday is the best day of the week. Thanks for giving me something crazy and fun to listen to while I cook and bake my life away.

Black Metal Lenin

This might be the best episode y'all've ever released. I was in tears from laughter

Cynthia

This coming out on my birthday is the best gift of all. Can’t wait to listen!

I hate Italians

Except for season one and a couple of the miniseries Freddy has the funniest characters

Mr. N. Hacksaw

Hear me out: Ingmar Bergman in that one shot with the beret and the three-piece suit (consisting of a crumpled shirt with wide open collar, worn under a knitted cardigan, AGAIN worn under a suede jacket), looking all dreamy (probably plotting his next masterpiece)? Totally worth 260$ in pre-internet money.

Richard Trauma

How did you guys get Winston Churchill for this episode

Malakye Dickens

this season is so insanely funny and interesting, i love that the players are having fun too! I cant wait for the peach pit

Toasty

“You and your loose eyeballs.” Sleeper quote of the episode

Toasty

“I stick 4 fingers in,” was hilarious

Rargona

This is the best episode of this entire show

TinsYouTrimble

Hehehehehe. Haven't listened yet. :3

Halophyte

See, Matt acts like a sub with all this "nice pants, daddy master" but then he refuses to cooperate with Will's plans revealing his true Brat nature.

Paul Litch

Holy shit that was a great eps!!!

Juke_Nudey

I love you Freddie, you’re a creative powerhouse that has made this podcast thrive, but gosh darn, chill out and let will DM!

Noah Fields

They upload a main series episode exactly every two weeks. :)

Riley Robertson

Only Freddy could manage losing a character at the beginning of a campaign

Joshua Panter

y’all better start being nicer ta my boy will!

Aleasha Hintz

Trudy Alpha is why women choose the bear :(

Rob Wes

Will speaking Russian???? Solid flex my man.

Rob Wes

Aw man seeing this as I scroll is getting me sweaty

Big Cheese

I don’t know why I thought Trudy was lobotomized

Grizzmammoth49

Kelsey’s parents being in their 90s means they had Kelsey when they were in their 40s. Sounds unusual for the time but very funny either way no judgement here.

Tess Eneli Reid

I love the new season, every episode is hit after hit! And I’m glad the episodes so far have been long

JJ Writes Everything

30 minutes in, I heard the music from Overcooked in the background. Neat

Nancybabich

Birthday twin! I considered it a gift for me too, happy birthday!

Ell Brookins

I cut up a lot of eyes for research, optic nerve is super weak actually ~☆

FusRohNahSon

I hope the line "I can cook a chicken even if there's no one to eat it" isnt lost in a room full of men and anthony

Toasty

The Queen took a pay cut

Sofiathehuman

AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO WAS SURPRISED THAT TRUDY WAS A ROBOT?!

Britt Klein

What is happening in this episode!

Kyle Mej

Tony is so dead

BHemboi

I feel like they should have called this episode how to get your friends to never want to DM ever again

Crash Panda

Research or... "research"? -not your local FBI agent

Patrick T

This episode was bananas. Was super funny. Was this season supposed to be super short? 2 weeks to figure out if...

Luna Luna

To be honest, I don’t really care if it’s about lore, I just like hearing Freddy talk

Laeticia

I mean before it was like "Jesus alright let's get you to bed grandma" vibes but now it's more of a "don't say a fucking word or he'll cut you open like a can opener" thing u know?

Alice Mac

EDINBURGH SHOW 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Embroidery Bonanza

Will’s beleaguered substitute teacher energy with Matt’s shenanigans is impeccable

Nerdsome Noel

…an Edinburgh show after I’ve already bought tickets and booked flights to Dublin. 🥲

pulled a muscle yearning

I thought she was maybe deranged or just barely keeping it together, but didn't see a robot coming!

pulled a muscle yearning

Robot arc is incredible, love where that's going. Also props on actually using Girl From Ipanema and not other generic elevator music

anonimeaux

Thank God. I mean Stalin. Thank Stalin.

Rob Wes

It held up

smeeth

Madness! Absolute madness!

Sidney

Beth May has once again ripped my heart out of my chest with her stunning acting

Jacquelynn Lyon

Episode was like 4 very different genres in one with like Trudy as feminist cyberpunk horror, Francis as some anti-hero arc—gonna pull some Walter White fall from grace shit, Kelsey is just a mob-sports movie, and Tony Collette is a spy comedy where dude just eats it immediately, the threads … they are intricate, I am loving it

Silent H

Matt is unhinged this season and I fucking love it

Hey Harold!

The only thing I could think about during Freddy’s lore drop was some old dude getting in his used car with his wife and being like “why the hell does this Oldsmobile smell like dickcheese!”

Deebit

Haha this has to be my favorite episode. Listening at work and laughing much too loud

Nodia Whitt

Positive comments, only? Funny at times…..but bad. Anthony is god at this point.

Nora Hopeless

Alright I might need to upgrade my subscription so I can hear the uncut of this one 😅

Kacey

Who else likes the crunchy stuff? I don’t know much about the COC system so I think it’s fun!

Vonn Frey

A fully formed moth came out of that egg. The cosmic horror in this episode is top-notch.

Joe F

Nice touch with the Russian back track in the intro

Raccoon_Coded

Oh no, Tucker is trying to replicate his first wife who he obviously lost 🥹🙃 this is so messed up

Peter Twist

In the context of the episode Anthony saying "You didn't see shit, bitch" is one of the funniest lines I have ever heard. 😂

S

Oh so it’s Horror horror

Jessica Estep

So was Trudy made in Tuckers human wife's likeness ? Who's the kids actual mother...or are they robots too? All the questions but can't wait for more!

Seth

Hear me out: Tony Colette isn’t the commie spy it’s Tucker. Trout is a fake name and his last name starts with C

Grrafe

Genuinely such a beautifully put line from Beth. I laughed a bit for a moment when I first heard it, just because it's such a bizarre way to put that idea. That was until I looked back into Trudy's mind and then realized that's probably the 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 way she could express that idea. Beth has blown me away with Trudy for so many reasons.

Shallow Rivers

I forget that Will was the one who is such a master of description. From the dad fart that made listeners actually gag, to the body horror of now.. I am in awe

dickaxe

Robotomized

Hashtaggles

Every Monday night I excitedly let my girlfriend know that I get listen to dungeons and daddies on Tuesday. This isn’t related to the episode I just thought you guys should know you make my Tuesday nights more bearable and sometimes (a lot of time) even better.

Ed

It's so cool to see that Elizabeth mothman became queen

DankLord420

I love the crunchy level up discussion but maybe I'm the asshole haha

Thomas Webb

I’ve been waiting too 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Jaime Timesamillion

If you're wondering who would buy a bumper sticker that reads "My Other Car is Cum-Bedraggled" it's me I would

Rindlewood

Yarse to an Edinburgh show! We’ve strengthened the glass since Matt’s last visit

Dr. Spooderz

Oh! What a solid episode, holy shit

Jennifer

Omg Trudy’s scene in the beginning is SPECTACULAR literally one of my favorite moments in the entire show

Alix Skye

Hysterical as USUAL. Everyone blowing it out of the park. Anthony in particular KILLED ME

UK fan (Dan)

Keep going Will - you’re doing just great with those ding dongs

Elliott Taylor

Francis is just Paeden and no one can change my mind

Freya Hogarth

Matt talking about an “old knotted hole” and I couldn’t help thinking “that’s the nickname my werewolf boyfriend gave me”.

Matthew Forrest

God damn beautifully improvised farce energy towards the end there. God damn guys.

Lewis H

Every character managed to shine in what could have been a choppy (split party) episode. Excellent DM'ing from Will to give room for the players to thrash around but it's definitely time to raise the stakes. I really hope Tony doesn't though because Freddy is cracking me up this season. Maybe Ebby White will swoop in?

Josh Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Shit Dad

So there's an add on to Call of Cthulhu called Pulp Cthulhu, which makes the game a little pulpier and beefs up the PC's a little. In Pulp, your characters get the option to sacrifice ALL of their luck, in order to avoid certain death. You do need to have at least 30 points of luck to do it. Your character shows up later, with 1HP and a wild story, but alive. Could be an idea in a show where we wanna hold on to our fave characters a little longer. Especially since the tone is quite pulpy anyway with the mothman and robots, etc.

Jordin Ann

Agreed, lmaom I'm actively resigning myself to the fact that this season is hardcore "Player vs DM" energy first and foremost.

CatTV

"A TWO!?" "bless you" omg beth is so quick lmfao

DankLord420

Shouts out to the APA picture

Redsriding

Idk what MI6 does but I’m a special agent for a city and I get a badge for some reason…. And we go undercover sometimes lmao. no one has ever even showed their badge as far as I know

Jakey Juice

Moths come from caterpillars :) hope this helps

PuppyCrusher

This was such a good episode. I love everyone’s arc. And Trudy’s scene blind sided me. Such an amazing twist. This is my fav episode so far, and I have said that twice this season so far! “If you want control, you have to take it” -Matt Arnold

Richard Trauma

What can I say I’m wrestlingpilled

DjTravioli

"he's covering his hands with his eyes right now" Will Campos I think Beth is the only one that noticed.

Matthew Moore

This episode is what I’d like to call. A certified banger

Adam D.

This was awesome and learning that the tour may come nearer my way is so exciting. But please it sounds like EdinBRUH not edinburle.

Paul Te

Also Will should clarify that characters only get the chance to level up ANY skill they succeeded on once per level up phase, not only one skill no matter what. But I'm guessing that's gonna be discussed further.

Luna Luna

Freddy’s second part of his scene continues being my favorite person entirely

Eeve

UNFURL? IS HIS HOG PASSIVELY FURLED

Josiah Muskrat

They ALWAYS ask Beth about The Net. 😆

Joe F

When you realize your background could have allowed you to hop into a army vehicle, but you get sniped in a convertible after a critical success 😵

Cody Lewin

I went back to try and listen to sons and sons ability for the first time but patreon is showing an error!

MrLemm

Poor Will

Aaron W

I, too, am covering my eyesockets and screaming. And then Freddy chiming in with the fun physics facts, jfc.

Lexi SanDiego

To Matt’s Snapple suggestion: I’ve literally been quoting Taylor’s teen facts at people when they bring up the singer. People do not like it and I don’t care.

Keith Vigna

You know what I'll say it for everyone like me. I had no clue Trudy was a robot i thought she was a normal ass person and that is because i don't know when they are joking or saying something deep and real about the characters

James Brown

Love hearing wills soul leave his body as Anthony scoops those eye balls sequence.

Beck

Every time someone has ever said “I rolled a two” on the history of this podcast, I think “hehe bless you” and I was so thrilled to hear Beth make the joke it’s my favorite joke cuz no one ever laughs when I say it lmao

Nestor

Tony flirting with the queen had me giggling on the bus

Jacob B.

The intro is my teaser for bitcherton. IM SO EXCITED TO HEAR WILL!

Erin

LOVED this ep!

Grrafe

Your critiques assume a lot of things about these people and their decisions. I think the first point I'll make is that DMing is difficult, and that Will is doing a fantastic job. I cannot really see how he is railroading besides maybe the Francis flashback, but even then, the difference between that memory and what Francis ended up doing is still very interesting! We don't know a lot about Francis, we still don't know what he would've been interviewed about the prior episode, and I wonder if that potentially ties in with his decisions this episode. I also get that Anthony didn't want to roleplay last episode, but both mechanically and in the character's eyes, it made sense to keep put until something changed in his environment. For him to get some kind of advantage. And it's another thing to call these people unprofessional while they're playing a ttrpg. It's a game! I understand you're paying money to listen, but you wouldn't have even known to call them out on anything if it hadn't been mentioned. They all listen back to the episodes, they don't need to be checked in at every moment at the table. And if it is a problem, then they can handle it without strangers on the internet calling them out for it when they've already called themselves/each other out as friends. Will is getting his footing in this world and characters, let him be! He does not need people breathing down his neck about how he's "having issues" despite running a very fun game his players are clearly enjoying! I think there are legitimate criticisms to be made about this season, as I believe there are legitimate criticisms to be made with any media, but there are more kind and more productive ways to do it than this. This just reeks of passive aggressiveness masked as "criticism". And if that's not what you were going for, I'm sorry. But please be aware of how your words come off online, and don't say anything you wouldn't say to these people irl. It's insane that people think they have authority over online performers because they've put themselves out there. No one has the right to call out performers for mundane issues other than themselves and their loved ones. There's a big difference between criticizing media and criticizing people, and that's the case here. We the audience do not know these people and have no say over their decisions.

Charles

I demand “Cumbedraggled” Merch 😂😭

Michelle McCartney

Please consider adding 'graphic body horror' to the episode description for this ep, I literally had to pull over on this one. 🤮🤮🤮

Liz York

I think you’re taking all of this way too seriously. They’re a group of friends sitting around playing a game. They’re all interested in and work within the domain of storytelling, character development, and world building, but they’re still just five people who have known each other for a long time (most of them for over a decade) who are having fun pursuing a creative opportunity. They work to create a good product, but part of the appeal is that they’re funny people with good chemistry who don’t take themselves or even the game systems too seriously. Now, is Will as good at managing a bunch of maniacs as Anthony is? No, or at least not yet. Part of that may be personality, but I think another part is that, from my perspective, Will approaches his role as someone writing a story—which involves total control of every element—while Anthony approaches it as someone creating/playing an open world video game. I’m also only a woman, and one who’s never played any of these types of games at that, but I bet if Will can start conceptualizing the role of DM a little bit differently, he’ll be able to let go and let the narrative breathe a little more along the way.

SpecDad

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAA🦅🦅🦅🦅

Lula Hiigel

Omg what an episode. I had chills during Beth’s sequence and was in stitches the rest of the time. I really hope Tony makes it through! We need his ‘Murican chaos goblin energy. Also, I think Francis might be evil? That was an evil person thing he did. Holy shit.

Levi Jo

Made-at-home Home-maker

Nic Emestica

The sound design for TT alpha was so sick

DjTravioli

Just in case that was for me. I just thought it was really funny and wanted everyone else to experience the epic moment. I freaking love Will. But if not. I totally agree... Leave our good man alone.

Kasper Kristensen

Oh hell no, I'm talking to Anthony, Freddy and Matt. 😂 Completely steamrolled our poor DM, which admittedly was pretty funny.

here to suffer

Anthony referencing squaring the circle this man maths this man fuckes with Taylor series on the weekends, this is how you become the borderlands writing king

Tree Mice

I keep waiting for Will to look at Anthony and be like “Is this what we were like?” Hahaha

Jonesy

LET'S GO FRANCIS LET'S GOOOOOO

Kingzley Sparkman

Idk why but I could visualize everything in this episode so clearly. Especially with Tony, it was like a movie.

Keira Jade

This episode had me actually in pain from laughing omfg 💀

Aidan

This is so good wtf

Aidan

Ester is my unsung mvp of the episode. The sound design with the Trudy prime, the wrangling of Freddy’s roleplay, and the clean cutting of the solo scenes, just really good subtle work from a really good subtle editor

Zed

i love how it seems that whenever Fredy is on a roll of defying the DM he'll call Will "Anthony" solely off of muscle memory alone LMAO this season's sooooo good so far!!!

Bex Boster

Of every episode of every thing that they have ever done this one felt the most unhinged to me lol boy did all of the players just decide to just drag Will through the mud this time lol Well I guess rather than drag him anywhere they just planted their feet and refused to move 😆😆😆😆

MovieDefenders Podcast

Thank you SO much for having Beth voice Alpha Trudy, it was inspired! I'm sure it was a lot of extra work but totally worth it! My jaw was on the floor!

Andrew

I guess Matt’s finally allowed back in Edinburgh after exploding that cafe.

Lorien

Tucker Comrade

Lorien

Ooh or what if Tucker was an incel stalker who killed the real Trudy when she rejected him?🧐

Lorien

Old people way of saying ma’am

I hate Italians

I hope that Will feels Anthony’s pain mwahahahahah

GrönHatt

All you seasons have been incredible. Never had a bad time listening! This season... Wow, Dungeons and daddies is just getting better and better.

Talia B.E.

Agreed! Eye trauma is a really big trigger for my husband and that would've been really appreciated to even have "graphic body horror" in the content warning.

Jeremy Cook

I learned how to drive manual in a Toyota Yaris many years ago, so I'm pretty conflicted about your name.

Raccoon_Coded

But I do get the vibe he's obsessed with trying to perfectly replicate an original Trudy, which is why he keeps throwing old models away, so I'm thinking he knew her quite well and especially saying he loves her before throwing Trudybot away makes me think first wife and mother to his children. (Assuming the children aren't also skinbots, but I have my doubts. Except maybe the smallest one, it's weird she keeps specifying 2.5 children.) Although it's still entirely possible Tucker did murder the original Trudy for whatever reason. I sure can't wait to find out!!

Callum Walz

I love that you can tell the Bitcherton promo was added in post, because no one’s interrupting Will

Michael Coady

Absolute SHIVERS hearing discarded Trudy. Blown away by this episode!!

Lorien

Same!!!

Adam Lassek

Tony Colette’s arc so far is like if Sterling Archer were a spy in real life

Freya Hogarth

Next mother fucker better be wearing glasses had me howling at my desk at work.

Pure Coolguy

Woman can be woman, also Will I commend you for trying so hard this session

Pure Coolguy

It’s incredible how much of a gift Beth is. Drama or humor she’s firing off on all cylinders

Ty Vuong

I'M A SOUTH DAKOTAN! Shit getting wild.

TylerKiro

Yes! Love this episode so much. I usually don't relisten but I did 3 times now.

Daisy Terry

Tony College is my favourite Freddie character ever omg. Like he's got the trademark unearned confidence but he's like 💃silly and loving🚘 too

Daisy Terry

*Colette 😭 also I'm high but I think I'd have a crush on Tony irl

MerusMetraton

If last episode saw the show stop jogging and start running, this one is pure momentum. I loved how much Matt and Freddie were unhinged on and off character, that'll make it that much sweeter when Will gets them over. Also, htf is Beth not doing voice work???

Sofia Maz

Are they actual coming to Edinburgh??!!! Please I beg 🙏🙏

Emmet Heneghan

We DO love you in Ireland, Beth! ☘️

Nubzly

This into made me nostalgic for a time I never lived. I would love to listen to an entire podcast with this vibe

ShannyKrik

Matt is unhinged 😂 Will is so patient 🤣🤣

Wolf Note

This may be one of my fav episodes of anything now

William Bird

I liked the episode, but I want Matt and Freddie to reel it in a little bit. There’s been points where it feels like they act against what Will is doing on purpose. I’m still really enjoying it, but I think they need to dial it back just a little bit and try to work with Will instead of against him

Septimus White

I am listening to this for the third time because it’s one of the best so far but shout out to Beth for ripping my heart out for the first scene with Trudy and Tucker every time 🫠😢💔

Noah Fields

DM here! I'm actually gonna push back this a bit. Here's my perspective, which could be, and probably is completely totally wrong! The way I see it, DND is, at it's core a collaborative storytelling engine, but it is also just as much a collaborative storytelling game - aka winners and losers. A good DM is a sort of antagonist who wants to be defeated, but not without a good fight. Nobody likes a sicko who just drops rocks a kills everyone. Since the players are supposed to prevail over the DM, I believe that derailing the DM's plans in a way that gives you an easier time, like what Matt and Anthony did is actually good DND. (Francis could have easily been killed by Sven and Tor if he confronted them alone, and Kelsey gained an information advantage by hiding under her house and listening for information.) On the other hand, derailment just for the sake of derailment can be pretty easily punished, like what we saw with Freddy. His drunken amnesia he decided to have didn't help him at all, (in fact it was so funny in part BECAUSE it made the situation so much worse), and he may have legit died because of it. But hey, that's just theory Thank you for listening to my TED talk 😁

William Bird

You make a good point and I can see where you’re coming from. I think just that last bit where Freddy seemed to intentionally derail the plot line seemed almost a little mean spirited. Like when he woke up and was like “I was drunk so I forgot”. We will see what happens and I am a little sad because secret agent Tony Collete was something I was really excited for

MerusMetraton

I'm subscribed to the theory that Toni is a Manchurian Candidate, and I'm deadass sure I'm not the only one.

Mel Mel

How have I not seen anyone talk about the "do you miss mum?" section. Goddamn that killed me.

Jye Hampton

So happy they're doing patreon submitted names again! I've submitted So many "funny" names 😅

Virgil_dendrict

I appreciate the players playing the system. This is what Call of Cthulhu does to people. Masterfully executed episode and theming!

Aaron

Not sure if this has been posted yet. Just noticed something Beth said as a Trudy fact in episode 3. Beth said “Trudy has been charged with battery multiple times.” It all makes sense now.

Daniel

I need a whole mini campaign where they’re all moths plssss the jokes were too good

Isaac Askin

Got too high last night and had to pause and finish listening this morning because the Trudy part scared me so bad

Amanda Sgour

I listened to this during work and I genuinely could not focus on it because there was so much going on😂 I’m re-listening to it now just to make sure I didn’t miss anything important

Stale Cornflakes

This entire episode was crazy! Just the intro with Winston Churchill caught me so off guard and it only got better from there. This episode was absolutely jam-packed with content for all of the characters, absolutely insane

Carlos

There's a point at which the players messing with Will stops being funny and they really really passed it for me

Carlos

One hundred percent agree, couldn't shake the feeling Matt was picking on Will. You could argue will needs to take control more but at some point the derailing stopped being funny for me

Div

That was my biggest worry for this season. But Will also needs to shit on them harder!! I believe in him!

Div

Yea they bullied Will. But i believe in Will! Shit on them Will! Unleash your dark side!

Cat Gonzales

I lost it at sucking & fucking

MuteMouse

Man this is the hardest I’ve laughed in a while, Matt is so funny 😭😂

Ethan

Isn’t Francis like 16 Matt keeps saying he’s 12

Miguel Angel Pena

I was gasping for air listening to this episode kmg

Miguel Angel Pena

The animal crossing voice for the operator was such a nice touch

Kacie Bingham

😭 The opening scene with Trudy's excitment then her fear is so sad.

ShannyKrik

I’m like… hey guys. Respect Will, I cant hear what he’s saying!

ShannyKrik

Pleaasseee stop interrupting him.

GuyLou

with each episode since season 1, I lose hope that my submitted name of "Anal Gayson" will make it into an episode

Austin Baker

You guys know patreon is cutting off the end of the episodes right? I can't hear the easter egg at he end

Daniel Powell

Alternative title; Matt and Anthony vs Will

David Resoluth

Anthony’s ”now you know how it feels” to Will about DM-ing!😂

Charleen Lamphere

Does anyone else think they're treating Will like a substitute teacher? 😂 They know how the game is played now, so now they're pushing buttons to see what this new teacher will let them get away with. 🤣

Kristina Jansons

I died laughing at him saying that. 😆 Such an interesting image, haha!

Maya

Relistening and I still have no clue how Beth got away with saying the moth laid eggs that hatched baby moths

Bearonavirus

I know Anthony did it too but I just love how Will prompts the players as to why they pass or fail their rolls in character. I think he does it more often but I'm not tryna make one feel better or worse than another

Bearonavirus

From my limited TTRPG experience, it ends up that way more or less with groups of the same people that switch DMs. In addition, the previous DM becomes the most unhinged character (murder hobo type that looks for any way to derail the campaign)

Bearonavirus (edited)

Freddie/Tony got exactly what they deserved for their idiocracy I enjoy everyone in the podcast and I suppose Freddie did everything in character, but it was a recipe for disaster

Violet Ann

This is easily my favorite episode so far 😂

Emilyandsnails

The way they are just beating on Will 👀

Mason Weaver

Will Campos! Do you watch full metal alchemist??! Tucker is a mad scientist doing experiment just with his family just like alchemist Tucker turning his daughter into a chimera. 🤣This is great btw

Matty Major

Is EB White the UKs DB Cooper?

Garbage Game Night

Scenes between just Matt and Will are so unhinged. You can tell they lived with each other and have been writing partners for a long time. The "I Miss Mom" "Well, she's in Florida" "Yeah that's where we buried her" "NO SHE'S ALIVE" [loud OOC argument] "She's dead to me"

NaxuPazu

trudy alpha really be like "i was the first... i have seen EVERYTHING"

NaxuPazu

Does CoC not have inspiration? (genuinely asking) Matt should have gotten inspo for the bit about the camera following the moth out of the mineshaft!

As an older sister.... This is almost exactly how me and my sister make up. Lots of crying and some food.

Brittany Sparrowgrove

My sister lived in a camper in my backyard for a year ½, best times of our lives. I love this episode just for those memories

Alfredo Delgadillo

Supposedly it's a penalty die for a firearm roll if the player dives for cover which in this case is the car. I'm not sure if will actually did give himself a penalty die or not

Nolan

This is the best episode of Dungeons and Daddies of all time
