Francis is by far my favorite character of this season. I've listened to episode 7 about 4 or 5 times. You guys in general are just so good! I've tried listening to other Actualplay podcasts and DnD podcasts while waiting for the episodes of this season and I honestly can't get into them nearly as much as I do this one. Exactly my point. Will decided the character deserved to die, so he got shot. But then he dragged it out, dangling the "Oh you can totally survive, just try harder, you've almost got it!" So much work was put in to their explaination on why Tony survived, and into getting him back with the group. Only for him to kneecapped at every foreseeable opportunity. Should have just killed him sooner. But I guess Will wanted a more cinematic death. Unfortunate. Tony was my favorite character before he got shot. But now, eh. We'll see how Freddy's next character is. Maybe I'll like them even more.

(hey early comment reader, spoilers below) Tony was Freddie's funniest character IMO. He always went with try-hard wannabe overpowered characters in the past (successfully or not) but Tony was always extremely flawed and vulnerable. The 5% shrink had me cackling and Allowing for his friends to actually write his back story live was an amazing move. RIP Tony, the coolest cat that ever was

(spoilers) It's really hard to let a character die, especially the first one, but knowing the DM is willing to kill characters is necessary for a story to feel like it has stakes... It's a tough position to be in, but props to Will for being willing to make that hard call. Loving this season so far! The more realistic, grounded setting makes the zany jokes all the funnier, at least in my opinion. :)
