I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE THIS!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SERIES!!!

Walker

Super excited for this to come back, but I wanted to say real quick: technically King of Kings made more money, but accounting for inflation Prince of Egypt was more successful

logan jilek

Beth May Back to Back bangers with this and Beth Wants the D

Sam Corey

Need an episode on Jesus Christ Superstar so badly

daemoninwhite

Is this not showing up in anyone else's podcatcher or is it just a me issue?

Ian Grigor

I’m glad there’s a new one of these

Keith Robinson

It's not just you. AntennaPod and I heard Spotify also.

Tess Eneli Reid

Omg pls never stop making this series, I learn so much

GhostBrod

I need an episode that’s just you guys talking about Christian music and its effect in movies

Isis

You guys need to do Messiah no joke my mom got so obsessed with that show she went into a religious psychosis. It’s not even good!

Jaycoa Silva

This series is great! I think you guys should watch the book of Clarence with Lakeith Stanfield I think it's a very good Christian movie

Intestinal-Bookworms

10/10 as always, very thoughtful Y’all could counter it with one of the best Christian animated movies, The Prince of Egypt

River Scott

I hate to tell you guys, but someone already did the Bible 2 bit. Its called the Book of Mormon

Alex

MASON WEBER

Whoop whoop! I love this series!

Smidazzle

Been waiting on the next ep for this for a long time 🙏

Space Captain Omoly

Fun fact: Charles Dickens's children would eventually come to hate him because he humiliated their mother in court when he divorced her. Among other things he talked at length in front of the judge and others about how fat and ugly his wife, the mother of all ten of his children, had become. Charles Dickens did this in order to marry his much younger mistress. On her death bed his ex-wife Catherine gave her daughter Kate a collection of letters from Dickens and said "Give these to the British Museum – that the world may know he loved me once" .

Ian Hancock

Mormons also did the remake with the pearl of great price. Gotta go prequel now

Patrick

Have y'all watched the Righteous Gemstones?

Natural Dragon

How much could you make if you made the Bible 2? Ask the Mormons 😉

Robert Davidson

Love to hear yall analyze the show the chosen.

annelie ertel

Hey if you’re interested in musical religious movies you guys should watch saturday warriors it’s a Mormon movie tho I have a feeling Beth would love a couple of the songs

Jmp098

They should watch Prince of Egypt. I reckon it’ll make it into the collection

Alex

Damn I can’t believe how bad Quest For Camelot has aged. I LOVED it as a child…

Josh Mauthe

I doubt you would ever do it, but of all the Patreon extras, this is the one I most wish would find life as its own series outside the paywall. I have a lot of people I know who aren’t big RPG fans, but live in that venn diagram of “cinephile” and “youth group ex-pat” who would eat this series up.

Kevin

I really enjoy these, and I have a suggestion for one to check out. I would love to hear your thoughts on the recent(ish) Sampson movie.

Andrew

Quest for Camelot is definitely rough, but the songs are still bangers.

Jebediah Stone

I will not tolerate We're Back slandering in this house lol

Jasper Hulme

i love the engagement with how modern Christianity wants Jesus to be some kind of superhero ubermench instead of like, focusing on his kindness and generosity and what have you.

Soul_Wrangler

First 3 episodes of the Chosen. It's a series but 3 episodes is movie length

Peachy

This is my favorite collection. Amen

Michael Hicks

A couple of Christian movies that are actually somewhat decent are "Believe Me" and "Blue Like Jazz".

Ashlee Whitaker

I disagree, quest for Camelot is a gem of a movie

Andrew

I cannot tell you how curious I am about you guys thoughts on veggie tales. If nothing else the theme song is a banger

streetdreams

The next Testament: Tokyo Drift

k0nami_kid

Matt, I'm curious if you ever feel any guilt for losing your faith? I was raised in the church, but now as a queer adult I no longer identify with what I was raised with. Sometimes I am still terrified of going to hell even though I haven't been to church in over a decade. Not all the time, but sometimes it hits me, the dissonance of what I was taught vs. the life I live now. I would love to hear your thoughts if you get the chance. 💖

Ali Al-abbooda

i wonder where you stand on hacksaw ridge? While it’s not explicitly about Jesus it relies heavily on faith and in the main character’s case his faith in God and Jesus christ.

Mikaila

Yeah im gonna need an episode over The Shack

Jessica Gray

Y’all should look into some FFF (Feature Films for Families) movies from ye oldenne dayes. Buttercream Gang comes to mind. Another good religious movie is The Hiding Place, would love to hear yalls thoughts on some of the Christy movies as well

Phillip Kennedy

You guys should take a look at “The Shack” that’s a different kind of ‘I met Jesus’ movie

RecycleUrMilk

I would avsolutely love your guys take on The Shift(2023) by angel studios. Avsolute trip, the whole movie didnt make sense but it did have Neal Mcdonough and Sean Astin

Nan McVicker

Oi oi: soul surfer really good and positive take on faith. Im not Christian, but it was a good watch

CaptainCarly

A Catholic comedy id love for you to talk about is nacho libre starring Jack black

Emily Steinke

OKAY WAIT- there’s an animated movie called Stawinsky and the mysterious house it’s 30 minutes long and it is based on the parables- I don’t know if this fits into this genre but I would just LOVE some hot takes on it

Chris Coughlin Jr

Bought this for my kids after I heard this l. Was a good movie

Lluis Blanco

Hello from Spain! Love Christerion Collection, here to recommend a Spanish movie I just saw, "Los Domingos" by Alauda Ruiz de Azua. About a girl who wants to become a nun. I would love to hear your take. I'm an atheist, and was fascinated by the movie, it's quite complex while subtle in it's viewpoint. I think you might enjoy it. Hope you all the best, waiting for the return of Christerion and Kingdom Dad Monster! 😁

Crag

Curious if you guys have seen the new David animated movie? I know a few people who worked on it but haven’t watch it. Curious to see if you would find it more appealing than this one 😅

Kaytu

Please keep doing these! They’re so good.

Lee Catton

THE BIBLE 2 This time it's personal

Matthew VanZandt

Would you guys consider watching that David animated move that came out? Would love to hear y'all's thoughts on it

Alexander Fish

So . Angel is advertising a new film. It’s called I’m not Ashamed. The trailer was absolutely wild . Like you guys gotta go watch it.

Kart

Neeed one of these on the Dreamworks animated movie Prince of Egypt

ThePastorsTouch

As an ex evangelical prince of Egypt is a movie that I still love and hold dear to my heart to this day which is wild cus I am usually VERY critical of most Christian media since departing the church
