I think that Unforgiven is the best western movie. It’s so good at both playing with the genre while also deconstructing it, that it kinda killed westerns for me a bit. And even though it’s a video game, Red Dead Redemption 2 is the best Western-themed work of art. Living in the world and character the way you do in that game makes all the themes and emotional beats hit all that much harder. One of the only games that had me in tears at the ending credits.

My friend showed me a neo western movie, or aTleast that's what I would call it. Never really been a western guy, but the movie was called Hell or High Water with Chris Pines and Jeff Bridges. And I have only watched it once but it was one of the best movies I had seen in a long time

I agree with Freddie regarding backstory; i tend to leave a lot vauge if its not super important and its added a lot of flavour to some characters. We nevet established the age of my gryphon riding amazon and when a 16 year old pc joined the party, i was like oh, my PC is a grandmother and now wants to take the young man under her wing to help train him in battle. Then we ended up with the world building that amazons of this area didnt go afar for adventures outside their territory until menopause and a bunch of other stuff. I would never do that with something important to the dm or another player, but having flexibility for the details is fun.

I saw Titanic in theaters when I was 7 years old with my parents and my brother, topless Kate Winslet up there on the big screen was definitely a formative experience for me. The most uncomfortable I've ever been while watching a movie with my parents wasn't an outright sex scene with nudity, it was the scene towards the beginning of Juno where she's watching the boys run through the neighborhood, and there's a slo-mo close-up on their junk bouncing around in their short shorts. I believe she refers to them as "pork swords." Truly horrifying.

Not the first time, but the funniest time seeing nudity in a movie with my parents - seeing The Watchmen in theaters. I had forgotten about the warnings, and my parents knew nothing about the movie. At all. The scene where Dr Manhattan first makes his appearance, and the movie is quiet, the music slowly looming, it pans to Dr Manhattan turning around. Sex scenes for me are like "yeah sure this is okay but we could really be using all this time for something more fun" like sure I'm not gonna die, seeing a sex scene, but if I wanted to watch that, I wouldn't go to Netflix for it. It just feels like wasting time for something that'll ultimately not appeal to most people, when that time could he used to drive the plot or do more gags. Coincidentally, this is also how I feel listening to you spending half the episode talking about sex scenes.

Speaking of casual nudity there's a play that gets played every year my state in Australia called uni review they have a lot of casual nudity and I went there for my first time and they did make it a big deal this was the first time I had male nudity and not just female which you know good that they where doing it sad it was the first time in 2024 I think it's really important to have casual nudity and help decentties it and make it less sexual they had one scene where the idea was they had the technology with AI to see how human bodies evolve so warstrate it and it became airships on the screen a guy flashes penis i don't remember what it that it turned into but then the final person flashed they're asshole and it became our equivalent of Donald Trump which I think just hilarious The next skit with nudity was women dressed up in alien like costumes and the soundtrack constantly saying boobies as they flashed their boobs with I sticker panties googly eyes over their nipples and they were just dancing around and they kept bumpy into each other and we're on the eyes came off and that was pretty funny to see not the pinekel of humour just really silly and fun My by far favourite was that they had a pool that had a sign saying you have to be naked to go in and so all the women were playing it up and obviously they weren't going to go in. But it got to the point they played it up so much that they thought they were going to then a bunch of men stripped and went into the pool and it was really well done and really funny to watch I do think the human body is overly sexualized at times and it's really good to have nudity in movies and plays non-sexually as helps people understand that the human body isn't just a sex object especially towards women and it also helps people become more comfortable in their own skin seeing others be confident like I truly believe that it helps my body image at least and I hope it helps others
