Wizardpower700

This story went off the rails when they didn't stop horsing around

k0nami_kid

Jebediah Stone

This is one of my favorite openings Holy shit

btheist

i haven’t listened yet but i have a feeling this title is a Matt quote

Pernille Keijzer

Having a stroke trying comprehend this title

Virgil McClurken

Someone call the "horse girl" from the previous series

Nikofoshizo

“I respect the joke” will be entered into my daily verbiage from now on

Commodore_Perry

I'm hoping it'll make sense in the episode. Maybe another "Is what you just said it will work?"

Dominik Schaaf

1 hour of making my commute with public transport a lot more fun

Virgil McClurken

Since we're all adults here. If you 69 with a horse you need to be on top.

DMtheGOD

Awww heck yeah!

Ryan Frederick

pretty sure kelsey just hated the librarian

Isaac Matthew

I don’t know why but it feels like forever ago since the last episode. Yay for today!

Quida Davis

I hate the Trudy/Dad argument 😭

Whachamacallit

I'm pretty sure she loves the library but hates the head librarian (think she killed him too iirc)

Xen Forest

This show gets harder and harder to explain to my friends haha

Garrett Dunning

Happy Peachy Tuesday!!!!! I think that movie is gonna rock btw

Virgil McClurken

Just heard something funny. The Last Supper was the first murder mystery dinner

Stephen VanScoy

I’ve loved this season and am really excited to see how Will wraps it up.

liam morin

i say this day to day and no one ever gets it

liam morin

idk i feel like the greeks and romans prob got down on some dinner murders and perhaps mysteries

lizardqueen6969

"you can't dressage your way out of this one Frederick"

Kristi Thomas

I think that is up there with my favourite intros

B. J. Boyd

We need at least one spinoff of “The Peachyville Horror, Jr.” Matt Arnold as Bebe Anthony Butch as Shane Jr. Beth May as Milton Freddy Wong as Marbles the Cat

Shaun_qb

I love that Freddie does a Santa voice when he's a horse

Robert Snitchler

I can't be the only one that noticed that Timmy's voice was robotting too

Emily L

The opening can only be described as charming, horrifying and hilarious. Fantastic job 😂

Emily L

I absolutely agree. I wanna hear some of these detective cases BB has solved

Emily L

Dinner murders as in actually murdering people at dinner? Because, the Senate would literally stab each other sometimes?

Matthew Moore

You think think J street had a Neighless that sold horse shoes

Kayden Pierce

Freddie is unfortunately the mvp of this episode

mansocksjr

Felt like I had a stroke reading the title

Cody Ikeda

I’ve been listening since June and THIS is the episode I have to wait to find out what happens next?! 😭

Mac_Enby

When she's staring down Blake-Horse all I can think of is the opening scenes of Nope in the photoshoot.

J.upit.er

Not me listening to the episode at gym and almost dying on the benchpress @ 49:15

Blaine Bowman

My friend’s horse loved Mike’s Hard Lemonade, she would pound a whole one right out of the glass bottle. She was a little weird for that, but most horses like beer, since they love grain and it’s just grain water. I should really let mine try a good oatmeal stout sometime…

Galaxy Croissant

Will really tried to make a good tucker, and I'm glad Kelsey fuckin crushed him lmao

CHenry

Ok. So we get a merch item after every level every 3 months. I have been a supporter since August of 2020. Longer than I've been married. All I ever got was the D20 sticker when I first signed up.

Garrett Dunning

What the absolute heck is going on 😅🤣😆

zo perry

hi my fellow peachy perry, checking in as i also don’t get what the title’s referencing after listening 😅 like yes he’s a horse but what is this title 🤔

Moises Pallan

I do wonder what would happen if they left defective Tucker alive, but oh well. This episode was amazing, I loved Blake horse moments it made this episode so great.

KingRacer97

I was hoping they'd do a Mr. Ed reference

KingRacer97

I wonder what she would think of The Library from S1

Breeb

Right? I didn't realize that was a thing lol

CHenry

Freddie could have misspoke.

JP is Lost

I’m also waiting to understand the title. Maybe they will explain in the Peach Pit?

Elio Cury Benazzi

Ok listen, I'm not the biggest Freddy fan, but with the horse now he has the 3 funniest moments ever in this podcast, just in this season. Amazing

Keira Jade

27 minutes in, big fan of the horse content, guys.

Tommie the Tired

JJJJAAAAMMMMEEEESSSSSS BBBBBBAAAAAXXXXTTTTTEEEEERRRRRR

Miranda Vargas

Listening to this episode while riding horses because I’m a horse trainer. Absolutely feeling like this episode is custom made for me 🤣🤣🤣 I do put a Modelo beer in my horses grain after shows and performances. Sweet lil special treat 🦄

Benjamin P Parson Gomberg

Haven’t listened yet, but it looks like it’s referencing the book/movie They Shoot Horses, Don’t They? and just swapped “they” and “horses”

bel herr

Omg Kelsey's dialogue with Milton 🤣 gives the blind kid that task

Michael Purscell

I was missing the music intros and my god did y’all deliver. The field thing with Blake is making more sense

Matt SandSweep

Has to be from the Nordics or it’s just a regular VPN

Anthony Rogers

Best day of the week thanks to them! I received a 40 to 50 unit freight truck at work every Tuesday morning and they post the new episode usually right as dude pulls up to start organizing and unloading my freight. Best hour of my week, every week, these crazy bitches!

Barf Drinker

This campaign is never going to end hahahahahahaha

sailor corellia

So many opportunities for Mr. Hands jokes. It's probably okay that they were all missed

Anthony cadena

@AnthonyBirch did you learn how to do horse trot sound fx by using your hands since last episode? I remember there was a little talk about how y’all wish you could do the sound with your hands and I’m just curious if you did learn? When I heard it on the last episode, I remember thinking to myself man I’ve known how to do that since I was a kid I can do it really well I wish I was there for them right now so I can make the side effects but I Was really happy when I heard you do it in the intro of this episode!

Lukeoftheirish

“We were like a car without a horse” or whatever John Mulaney said 😂

Lula Hiigel

At what point? I totally missed it

Robert Snitchler

When Timmy is arguing with Trudy about going down into the well deal with Trevor.

Joey

Man if I had a nickel for every time Freddie Wong played a horse that trampled someone to death with their bare hooves, I would have 2 nickels.

Charles penney

True, that is not a lot. But it's still more than you would expect.

KingRacer97

I heard it too, very super subtle

Not Grandma

That “I was good once” dig made me audibly respond in my most endearing, fatherly way “Oh Anthony…” Love this man.

Eddy B

Why wasn’t it called Horse-ey Oak!?

Ralph

Love Will once again forgetting Timmy isn’t an older teen. Is he 11 or 17? 🤣

Nancybabich

I recently watched the show The Residence on Netflix, and all I could think throughout most of it is how the character of Patrick Doumbe played by Timothy Hornor IS Ron Stampler.

Lizby

He prob respects the neg

Daniel Patterson

Same exact thing happened to me - I had to leave the fucking gym

Alexander Fedelski

I was so excited for the new episode gave me something to focus on while my son was in surgery yesterday

Ryan Benarao

I need a “cars don’t poop!” shirt. With a cute horse Blake nd pile of poo

Heartland Animation

I laughed a who bunch at the eating food scene. This episode had great imagery

Chalk

Trudy called Timmy bb

Heartland Animation

I think I have a theory of what will is thinking. But I ain’t saying shit!

Garrett Dunning

The intro has me in tears I’ve listened a few times and I just cannot get a grip on reality

Michael Purscell

He’s like 12 and the fact that he’s become seemingly so important to Trudy’s arc is disconcerting

Michael Purscell

He tried make the family complete but it would have been a horror show. I really hope Timmy gets therapy, but it’s 1950’s Nebraska so probs not

Michael Purscell

Will is a very loud person and it’s probably just microphone clipping. I’ve listened 3 times now and haven’t noticed anything

Michael Purscell

It’s illegal for you to listen, do not tell the cops

Ralph

I see what you mean by that criticism. IG for me it works because Trudy disliked Timmy so much in the beginning. To me, it sense for the character to want to course correct by really jumping into the parental relationship. Thank you for confirming my age suspicion 😂

Emeryth

Every time I think we’ve reached peak nonsense, Freddy gets a big brained idea and Will rolls poorly.

Jason Harris

Fingers crossed Timmy gets killed off pleeeeeeeaaaaase

Tactical Witch

Beth’s poet side really came out during that monologue. Also Anthony’s called shot is very in character for Francis.

Bella Jex

I feel like calling the queen would have been

Bella Jex

Really good instead of tax evasion or just the army lol

John Bakker

One Must Imagine Sisyphus Doing "The Artist's Way One must imagine Sisyphus genuinely happy for his friends who have successfully rolled their boulders over the other side of the hill. One must imagine Sisyphus saying, "you deserve this bb!" and thinking, "if they can do it, so can One must imagine Sisyphus has been listening to a lot of inspirational podcasts lately. One must imagine Sisyphus' favorite podcast is called, "Rock It: How to Push That Boulder - and Yourself to the Limit!" It is co-hosted by a boulder-pusher from the era where boulders were fifty pounds lighter and a girl whose dad used to push boulders. One must imagine that the podcast is sponsored by Gravity. One must imagine Sisyphus making a vision board. One must imagine Sisyphus printing out a picture of a boulder balanced perfectly on top of the mountain, and then pasting a photo of himself, smiling, over it. You know, so he can really envision it. Really believing it is the key thing. One must imagine Sisyphus taping the vision board to his bathroom mirror and looking at it every day.

Bearonavirus

Im at the highest tier for 2ish months but subbed at the lowest for a few months before-hand. In September I was surprised with the "Peachyville Lanes" bowling tote, so i think he was saying the time youve been subbed sorta grandfather's you into getting the next gift even if you weren't subbed at the highest tier for 3 months

Bearonavirus

I think Will put Tucker there to help the Screams get a fix for their body-less trudy problem. We wont know for sure tho unless its in DM notes or talked about in peach pit

Shane Murphy

To quote Will " I'M LOSING MY FUCKING MIND " - 8 MIN mark

Shane Murphy

3 minutes later "Jesus Christ"

Mika Aapakallio

I know Timmy didn't mean anything bad by it but him saying "he's the same as you" to Trudy abt the man who abused her really hit close to home 💀 (even though I'd assume they literally aren't the same since Trudy has the brain...)

Tim Roberts

A lot of talking over each other in this episode. Love it, but gotta be real about Matt and Freddy doing a lot of "I am talking louder to talk over and make my point".

eatmygerms

"and you hear a familiar voice down below" SHOTBOT??

Springle Me To Springletown

This. This is what I have been waiting for. Not plot, not character arcs, not dice rolling, just horse. It feels like the first time.

Flufflecat

Fun fact, pigs ALSO love beer. And since they can be super rowdy during hoof trims, vets will sometimes recommend owners give their pigs a few beers to calm them down before they come over to do pig maintenance

Golden_Grimm

A Boxing Teacher, a Messed up Teen, a Headless Robot Housewife, and a Warcrime Horse walk into a bar.....

vintage_rpg

But robot Trudy doesn't have a brain - it's implied Tucker removed fragments/samples or something back when they encounter 'real' Trudy, who is a brain in a jar. But Trudy the character is pure robot. So in that sense a robot of his dad is as much 'his dad' as a robot of human Trudy is 'his mum'.

Miranda Vargas

The best 🤣 I want a shirt that says this

Max Z

Some parts are hard sit on, because it feels like Will is doing cool stuff and the players are stubborn. And Antony's bit about gaslighting things into the story is tired. Ie the whole nazi thing about Jenkins, picking on npcs (which is just Will) and flipfloppy troubled/bullying character. Idk

Morgan D

Such a nice set up by Will and they just killed it 🤣🫠

Noor

Why is it disconcerting? He’s literally her son

Ulysses

I've felt the same, after the Jenkins thing and the bigfoot time stuff, the show lost all horror and suspense the earlier episodes have. I mean I still like it but it went from being an intriguing story to just some yuk yuks with friends. I've relistended to s1 like 5 times and s2 like 3, I don't think I will relisten to this season besides the first few episodes.

Kiana H

francis x timmy 😭😭

banana Peel

Ever since trudy became a head I just hear Will saying “Warm robot head!” In kids on bikes

Abby Amsel

The Mister Ed opening makes me so happy.

Linden Staggs

Could not be any more wrong. Trudy had a full brain and a literal button/mole that opens her head and exposes it. She did it several times at the beginning of the series 🤓

Devin Allen

This is easily one of the top daddies episodes, definitely up there with Deck Picks with how funny the horse thing is

banana Peel

I like to imagine Bandof Horses and Blake Lively switched bodies like Sam Waterston and the Very Good Boy.

Ralph

I can see how some people could view the narrative arc as reaffirming gender roles and dynamics. There have been some moments where Trudy has felt boxed into choices because of Timmy’s presence. It also doesn’t help the optics that agency over the age of the child character seems to constantly removed from Beth 🥶🤷🏽‍♂️ Keep in mind, Matt is playing a school marm (sp?) archetype yet we haven’t seen as many moments where he has been asked to make decisions in game play based on the gender, age, and occupation of the character. I can understand disconcertion over the onus placed on Trudy to carry the maternal figure archetype. It’s not a criticism, just an analysis :)

CHenry

Thing is. I've been subscribed since August of 2020 and all I've gotten is the D20 sticker.

Jasper Hulme

I still disagree with ppl saying there's no horror or suspense left, I love this season, I totally get what people mean about them bullying will or shutting him down but will has done some really excellent spooky stuff this season and I am having such a good time; Kelsey killing the defective Tucker genuinely fucked with me I felt for Timmy

Jason Doty

So Blake lively did too much horse tranquilizers.

Montana Greve

I love to listen to this at work. I work at a horse barn. When Beth said her horse head joke, I physically crumbled and ugly laughed while scrubbing horse buckets 🤣 Someone asked what I was laughing at and I couldn’t tell them lol

Liz York

All I can picture during the supermarket scene is Khan the horse stomping Mushu in Mulan.

Marissa Y.

Somewhere, there's a joke about Trudy being a PC and Blake's horse being Apple Eater. And the horse head... observation from Beth in the intro definitely leads to some wild interpretations of the Headless Horseman.

Marissa Y.

Also, because I have not seen this comment yet: There's a HORSE loose in a SUPERMARKET

Marissa Y.

It's a play on the 1969 movie, They Shoot Horses, Don't They? (which is based on a 1935 novel). The only reason I know this is because there's a Gilmore Girls episode called They Shoot Gilmores, Don't They? 😂

Marissa Y.

I believe you have to be at the $20/month tier to receive the merch.

CHenry

"You get a free little merch item at every level for staying pledged for 3 months by the way" 1:09:11

CopperKnight

I pay good money specifically for Freddy Wong horse roleplay

Rick o'shay

As a former child, even though its an audio format and I cant see it, I know exactly what beth was talking about

Shannon Rourke

"look where you are" says Kelsey to a blind Milton.

Jon Stadil

Freddy coming back in with that horse/santa claus voice absolutely killed me 😂 podcaster of the year, yup

Kelsey Smith

If you ever find yourself in southeast Iowa, reach out to Smith Family Farms. We'll happily treat you to a carriage ride with our Belgians 😊

James Whim

I was fucking dying and how terrible the plan was last episode. Turns out I underestimated How goated the horse plan was. I hope Blake stays a horse the rest of the season

Jacob

Will could have said “the cave where all the trudy bots are” and it would have sounded a bit cooler 😎

Michael Sullivan

I can't believe how much Freddy's horse voice sounds like Pennywise 🤣

Addie Durrett

Listening to this as a show jumper who owns three horses is hilarious

SnackyTheShark

Second listen and Will was an excellent GM but he really took Beth’s agency when he made her just a head

Kerri Gilliard

First they take mothman from Trudy, then they take a good version of her husband!?!? 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Coreythosaurus

Blakes horse arc is my favorite thing in this entire podcast

Niko Roe

If you’re interested in a more horrific horse fact, they are opportunistic eaters; if it’s alive or edible, including live mice, birds, fruit, or even corpses, horses will eat it

the chompie man

I kinda of feel they should of waited a bit till this robot seemed threatening or hostile they were really mean to essentially this blank slate npc but I guess I get not wanting help from something wearing the face of the players abuser
