Ok so. I have come down with Diverticulitis with an abscess. I have been in the hospital for 2 days. Its looking like ill be stuck with a colostomy bag for a while at least. I'll likely be in here over Thanksgiving. Which in the south is sort of a big deal. What im getting at is sometimes in my darkest moments since I found this podcast. It has really helped me keep it together. The humor hits me in such a way that anything else rarely does. So thank you to the whole cast and crew! That is all.

Believe that Matt is referring to the Wachowski’s 2008 film, which he’s expressed a love for in the past. That movie does seem very inspired by video games in how it adapts the source material.

Last night I dreamt the Daddies were playing a new ttrpg in which all characters slowly turn into Wario. The objective of the game was to be the second-to-last full Wario transformation (i.e., leaving one player still not fully Wario) and each round the players could spend an action to either increase/decrease their own Wariosity or alter another player's Wario levels. It was a tense psychological thriller. Matt was winning. Just needed to get it off my chest.

About the VGAs while some of it is definitely politics and who has money, I disagree that it is entirely. Megabonk was nominated for the Debut Indie award and the dev contacted them to say he shouldn't be eligible cause he's been in the industry but he's just using a new alias so this isn't technically a debut game. If Freddie was right that the nominees are all just the people with the most money that would either be wrong here or that would mean this guy payed them and then backed out for the pr look which just goes to far into conspiracy over an indie game dev imo lol.

On the topic of last episode, I do feel the decision for them all to take the million to one shot doesn't make total sense in character. Matt keeps saying it is the best they can do not Anthony does call it out correctly. If they have an option that is more likely to save innocent people but they are choosing to not do it because they don't want to make a tough sacrifice, then it isn't the best they can do. And Beth agreeing it's best even though it's the option that puts Timmy at the most risk? I dunno. Felt the decision should've been more split at least, but I'm fully on Anthony's side in that argument. Just had he gave up so easily in the argument.
