The Dads sit down to discuss the final episode of The Peachyville Horror and look back on the journey of utilizing a different system. They discuss favorite moments from the season and hint at what's to come in season four!

Maxton Waller also stops by to discuss the doo-wop-ification of A Hole in the Stars (sung in the finale by Elsa J.), the original ideation of this season's theme, and the adventure of taking on Big Shane Silva.

Season four will be coming at you beginning February 10th, but in the meantime the Patreon will be bustling. We've got some awesome bonus content planned for you all, including behind the scenes process videos, more games, and a check in on the pets in the daddies family. So stay tuned, folks!

First!!!!! Yay. I been waiting for this PP

Violet Ann

So sad it’s over 😭😭

Wizardpower700

This whole series has made me want to motivate my friends into playing COC

Nobi Wolff

I'm looking forward to the pet check innn

Smidazzle

Crazy how it’s already over loved Peachyville

Golden_Grimm

Finally gonna catch a peach pit on release. Edit: Oops clicked on the actual final before this

Runnin' Ryden

Season 3 was awesome and I’m really excited for what’s next. In the meantime, you all deserve a wonderful holiday season and a long break!

Jed

Elsa J’s voice is so warm and soothing while giving a thematically appropriate tone to the season! Love it hope she makes more music in the future

Lukeoftheirish

I think of “Minimum Wage” by They Might Be Giants at least once a month!

CHenry

Thank you Big Ballz McGee 9001

nuggets

Season 3 was by far the best yet, cannot wait to see where these chucklefucks take it next, also I know that next Waller banger is gonna hit like crack 🤌

Trenton Clover

This was another amazing experience and season, thank you guys for everything. ❤️

Bearonavirus

Not Matt roasting tf out of Maxton 😬😬😬😬😬

Golden_Grimm

It is funny to see how this whole season was about stopping the ending of the world. Only for the heros to leave it worse for ware. A fun difference from the previous two seasons.

DjTravioli

Have yall listened to "Switched-on Bach" by Wendy Carlos? I can imagine space grannies loving that.

lizardqueen6969

Lmao the "minimum wage" horse sound reference sent me. I feel so seen.

MooliciousMD

Thanks for sharing Maxton. I hope things are on the up for you! ❤️

Matty Major

A nice long, extra juicy, theeeeeiiiicck peach pit.

Monestrial

I think this season was my favorite because of the variety of characters (as opposed to all dads or all kids) and the pervasive dark gritty tone. I think space is a knockout environment for the next season and can’t wait to see what Anthony does with it.

Lukeoftheirish

As a collective, we must keep the idea of Choomtown for season 6 alive.

Bearonavirus

Brunhilda couldve made the shot...

Trenton Clover

Im not a huge fan of Sci-Fi, but if anyone can win me over its the Daddies 😂

Frank

Just realized she never came back after getting broken 😔

Stephen Clark

Have they announced anything about when season 4 will start?

Blake Perryman

Congrats to you guys on another amazing season! EAT!

Tony Loch

This by far and away is my favorite theme song to date, especially the finale, of all shows I’ve listened to. It’s a masterpiece.

Nobi Wolff

I appreciate the willingness to do the downer ending! Grim dark fantasy is my jam and this was jam worthy!

Gurpgork Baksheesh

Blake > Tony. Freddy characters: Bufo > Glen > Blake > Mothman character from Sons > Tony > Taylor

Connor Reemts

I loved this season so much. Yall have been a constant companion for the past 6 years and a huge creative inspiration. Thank you for the laughs

bel herr

Wait what happened to Arlo

LilacIris

Thank you for another amazing season! You all did amazing!!

Curbature

I’m kind of torn because I appreciate the theme of “You never really know what would have happened otherwise”, but I would also love a “What If?” kind of bonus episode where Anthony gets a chance to fight Cthulhu

Barf Drinker

Wait wait wait, people don’t like the Bigfoot arc? Literally my favourite part of the season (besides Tony’s backstory. That’s literally my favourite part of the whole podcast.)

Cain Porter

I like the question of people knowing your podcast more. I’ve listened to every season at least 5 times but I never would assume I’d be able to pull more than any of the daddies.

Unscary Ghosts

If there's any podcast that can nail a sci-fi theme, it's gotta be this show. I'm so stoked to see what's next!

Jocey

I adore you all. Your characters were with me through my mom dying, and they were a source of comfort. I was able to laugh again. Which sounds cliche as fuck but you will never really know how much I appreciate you all! I hope you continue many more seasons! 🖤

Sam Mayfield

Not only is the “Tony’s backstory” episode one of my favorite episodes of this whole show, it’s also a great hook for getting friends into the show. Not much context needed and very high joke density.

Cody Moriah

"Next season, I'm gonna be fucking unhinged" says Freddie Wong, who, notably, has never been hinged in his entire life

JebKush

i fully heard Freddie's season title as "Cyberpunk: ToonTown" and now I'm demanding that instead

Niko Smiley

Thank you for such a beautifully crafted and absolutely hilarious season!!!

Garrett Dunning

Everything was great from start to finish peach pit to peach pit. Was awesome hearing from Maxton, all his contributions have been incredible. Personal quick shoutout to the episode with all the Tom Clancy references. I have no idea what prompted it but it was the gag that makes me laugh the most I think

Matthew Morrissey

For the last time… BWA BWABWABWA BWABWA BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!

David Wilder

I hear Choom-town. I would be so on board to hear a RED one shot, arc, or campaign.

Drednot

Anthony "fuck the Bible" burch

Harrison Brackett

I disagree with the idea of them not sacrificing anything. Obviously Tony and Blake both died, Trudy lost her "husband" and 2 "kids", as well as her abusive but comfortable life. Francis lost both of his parents, his physical body and his ability to be a normal kid, and Kelsey lost her home, desire to write an Dictionary, and her livelihood. All the characters made a ton of personal sacrifices, and at the end of the show Tony & Blake are dead, and Kelsey is implied to die offscreen. There's no reason for them to die for no reason. They tried their best and failed.

Drednot

The early season twist that Trudy was a robot was a bit obvious, the real twist was actually just how human Trudy was

Patrick Morris

With Matt talking about the DM being their to serve the people, or Anthony's point that the DM is trying to create the fun the players want and not force the fun the DM wants I think it can get overlooked the the GM is there to have fun as well so aspiring ttrpg players keep that in mind. The GM is the person that puts the most work into the games trying to give you this fun experience and if you think the most fun is kicking over the GMs sandcastle make sure you have a GM that has fun rebuilding them, like Anthony or will does. Because I've had players deliberately fuck up things that they know I'm trying to set up and it really bums me out to know that my players don't want to have fun with me they want to have fun at my expense. The GM is there to have fun as well just keep that in mind

Vallyce

Another great season! I'm so excited for what Anthony has planned for season 4 and all the bonus content to come. Y'all are batting a thousand in my books and I don't even like baseball.

Vallyce

A cyberpunk mini campaign would be dope as hell

Mike Hawk

I stand with Anthony

FusRohNahSon

well Anthony take is literally wrong and right, about what happens at the ending. Until this group or some group given the right to do the campaign of bb and milton, everyone and no one is saved

Bettybits

I'm... Embarrassed to admit how many times I've relistened to these seasons... All the seasons and side content. I also fall asleep to episodes cause it calms my brain at night. So thank you for continuing and here take my money, I guess. You keep making it, I'll keep listening. Cheers to a great season and excited for season 4.

Brandon R

Loved the season! For a bunch of people who constantly admit they don’t listen to other actual play podcasts y’all sure do say “something we do that other actual plays don’t do is [insert thing that other podcasts absolutely do]” a lot.

Timothy Banwell

Congratulations on another season well done everyone! Will, you did a phenomenal job as Keeper; I was not prepared to be so swept up in this season as swiftly as I was given it’s your first outing in the Big Chair - truly 👏. Players, thank you for bringing to life such genuinely interesting and complex characters. I loved the Daddies in S1 of course, but the Screams all felt as comprehensible and emotionally impactful as Ron and his arc did in Season 1. To do that in an improv-heavy horror setting on a comedy podcast is genuinely incredible to me - you brought them to life without undercutting the horrific stuff, or turning them into goof ball caricatures. They feel REAL in a way I did not expect. Kudos! And of course, all of those people behind the scenes who make this show what it is with their talents out of the limelight (limesound?); thank you for all the hard work you do to make it possible for us to enjoy this incredible show I only started listening to to humour a friend who insisted that the “Daddies were funny” those years ago. You are amazing people. Maxton - I can’t wait for the next absolute banger theme; your music makes every episode feel like coming home. Onward, to Season 4! 🥳

Octavia MacIsaac

I mean I will be here for a long time, my special interests last 10 years minimum 😆

Halophyte

Anyone else catch the inherent comedy of Beth saying "i dont want to beat a dead horse" to transition away from talking about Blake's death to a new topic?

Halophyte

Like a door lying flat on the floor

Eden Adams

I've absolutely adored this season, I've loved all the seriousness and silliness, and while I'm so sad to see it go I'm found the ending satisfying and believe the whole team did such an excellent job 🙏❤️

Benjamin P Parson Gomberg

I’ve heard it also described as the DM being the host of a party. Like they are doing more work and are more involved in planning and preparations, but they aren’t subordinates or employees of the guests. They also want to enjoy the party they are putting on, and you’d be a rude guest if you just start overturning snack tables and throwing drinks against the walls and saying “well this is just how I enjoy parties and it’s your duty as host to accommodate me”.

Robert Davidson

Will never hate any of you. Love the work you all do. Thank you for another amazing season.

KingRacer97

Will did in fact use the "you look up and see the hole in the stars" line in an episode, after the first group encounter with mothman and the goo chambers when they come out of the hill and are looking down on Peachyville

Jimmy Nails

Thanks team amazing season and extra thanks Will for steering the ship. Loved it (especially the Bigfoot Eps!) Looking forward to S4

Benjamin P Parson Gomberg

An interesting theory I’ve seen about the end of The Mist is that the army only shows up because the main character shoots the others. That the religious zealot actually was right, and only a sacrifice would save them. I think it ties into that uncertainty Matt’s talking about. Would the army have shown up if they’d just waited in the car, or was everything happening actually some inscrutable eldritch incursion only ended by the sacrifice of innocents?

Patrick Morris

Yeah that's actually a great way of explaining it, because when the guests are having fun you're having fun having planned a kick ass party, but once people are having fun throwing plates at a wall or sticking balogna to the ceiling it becomes much less fun for the host

Master of Faster

I love that Freddie references Minimum Wage, something I love that I have never heard someone else discuss

JustAnotherRQ

It would be so sick if we got a vocal synth in s4 that would be really cool

Holyboi

oh just noticed new season day after birthday let's go Matt: i love teachers also matt: have teachers ever had an original thought ? (im joking here)

Nolan

I’m halfway thru and nobody’s brought up horse Blake showing up at the pit with perfect comedic timing

Nolan

I love your work, and your hearts and minds make my day. Thanks

Ace Hutson

Choomtown season 6 baby let’s go baby let’s go

streetdreams

100%. That's why Session Zeros are so important, to clear up expectations. I feel like it can be so hard to communicate, like - as a DM I really don't need to 100% play "my story" all the time. I am super happy to have players come up with stuff I simply hadn't thought of to more easily solve a problem, I'll even rebuild the sandcastle a few times if it feels earned. But there's a certain balance there. The players must actually want to play with me in the sandbox I built for them.

Jonathan Deans

did they ever explain what was up with the Tony in Russia?

Ethan L Marlow

I cant believe they spoke about Matt's intros, but didnt mention Beth's intro JOKES. Soooo so good every time !

Morgan D

Great series guys! Really enjoyed it, love the system you're using. Big thanks to Will for being a great DM.

Tim McClune

When Will was talking about the world transforming from the space dick, I had a feeling that this world was going to create Faerun from Season 1.

Nash Parsons

As a DM you guys have inspired so much of my own campaigns and mine is about to end soon as well and I'll be starting a new one next year. Thank all of you so much for everything you do

Bone

An amazing season! Will you definitely inspired me to start my own Call of Cthulhu campaign! Can’t wait for next season

Lauren Vranas

I never thought about that question about what you guys thought about people knowing more than yourselves. I feel like I’m just now putting into perspective how long I’ve been listening and how many times over I’ve listened to the seasons. I can’t even count on two hands how many times I’ve relistened. I’ve been listening to you guys every day at work for about 3 years straight now and it’s been an absolute delight. I can’t wait to see what you guys come up with next😭💕💕

Clay Batley

My 3rd re-listen of S1&2 coincided with the S3 finale, yall helped thru a lot this year, thanks for creating such an awesome environment for fans!

Beck Webster

Everytime we reach the end of a season I’m reminded just how much I love each one. They are all so different and it’s truly a joy to get to listen to each one! Thank you all for all you do for us patrons!

Cody Moriah

6 seasons and at least 2 movies

Patrick Morris

Yeah for sure, and that's not to say that these guys are bad players. Clearly everyone's having fun here but I just think that some people listening might not understand that not every GM is a will or Anthony or even should be a will or anthony

Springle Me To Springletown

I played Clint Eastwood’s grandson in Gran Torino. I was the one who did the testacles sign of the cross bit in the church scene at the beginning. I have heard that goddamn Gran Torino song in Gran Torino which is about the Gran Torino in the Gran Torino movie so many goddamn Gran Torino times. Please don’t do that song

Kylie Martin

Found you guys in January 2020, forced everyone in my life to listen to season 1, it is absolutely a comfort show for me now, thanks for keeping the stories going!

StrangeledPlanet

Awesome season. Thank you all to taking a fun risk and look forward to what’s next.

Zac Watson

Moral of the story don’t feel as bad for Will when they are razzing him

Nicole Sandor

This is going to get lost in the comments, but you guys are a joy to listen to. Truly. I've been here since season 1 and I can't wait for the next season. Thanks for brightening up my week ❤️ Lots of love from upstate NY!

Ryan Frederick

i've listened to season 1 about 20 times and season 2 around 10 and went back through season 3 a few times as it was airing lol!

Ryan Frederick

s2 only less because it's newer i Love s2 and don't understand any hate it got

Dylan Miles

I consume a lot of media, a large portion of it actual play, and the reason that Daddies is my favorite is exactly what they’re expressing at the end. Daddies one ends with Glenn losing his Child, and dying. They’re reunited in hell, but what that leads to in Daddies two is a fully disjointed family and Taylor being a Sympathetic Asshole— It took 4 marathons of both until I really appreciated the full Arc, and Glenn Close is one of my Top 5 favorite characters ever; I have no idea who the Actress is beyond him, and my parents watching Dancing with The Stars. All of the stories lead in INTERESTING directions that become more satisfying over time rather as opposed to a more mainstream “happy ending”. Francis was willing to sacrifice everything— Not for his parents, or the world, but for the people that made him feel needed; He wanted to satisfy some sort of penance for being kept around for a surer shot (and a badass kaiju fight) at making sure that at least they were ok, even at his own expense. But Trudy wasn’t willing to make that sacrifice. I think it was an incredible ending, and it really ties it together with the rest of the canon for me— No matter how tough the situations they’re thrown into are, their greatest strengths aren’t in their individual capabilities, but in the choices that they make to support one another. It’s a love letter to collaboration, and I will continue listening to it until I’m wherever Tony Colette ended up (Unless someone saves Jesus before that, God willing 🙏🏻) I can’t wait for Grandads in Space.

Louis Frohock

That’s it. It’s really done.

corundum liqueur

I loved this whole season, but my favorite part of it ending is being able to add Hole in the Stars to alllll my playlists. I’ve been counting down

Kaiddance

HAHAHA OMG I’d be so MAD! To have that cliffhanger with the advertisement, I’d fucking drop kick something.

Kaiddance

😂🤣 darkier

corundum liqueur

Anthony getting ready to “put on the ol’ sweater” as if it’s not a fluffy bathrobe

Eric Willey

I think people have a habit of comparing new seasons to only the best episodes of the previous season(s) because those are the episodes they remember the best. So if it's not an A+ episode of the current season people think it's not as good as the previous season. Just my totally unscientific guess though.

Ryan Frederick

i think so too, same with tv shows every new season is considered worse than the last for a long time it's annoying! s1 is my fav because it's so special to me because i've been listening since 2019 but i basically love them all equally

Clayton Nixon

February 10th is my birthday, couldn't ask for a better present!

Zack Giovannoni

You know, it wasn't a TPK. Maybe this has been said, but... Matt and Freddy can be Moth-people and join Trudy and Francis.

Richard Wilt

I guess I'm in the minority but I had no issue with the bigfoot episode, loved the Tony backstory, and throwing the bag of beans in season 1 is one of my favorite moments and standout moments from season 1. So, do with that info what you will. At least one patron liked those moments.

smeeth

Thanks for an awesome season!!!! Woooo!!!

Lazaretto

I'm moving into a new apartment so I need to drop some bills 🥲 I still love y'all, but I need to really cut back on my subscriptions 🙏🏻 will be suffering only getting a new episode every two weeks but I'll live

Seb

I’m sorry for your loss😔

SonOfABoofo

Hehehe, I can’t believe Will said 60-70s

SonOfABoofo

The internet has been destroyed by two numbers

Lazaretto

Thank you, I will definitely be back though, so hyped for season 4 🫶🏻

Kyle Dawson

I’m ready for Choom-town, I love cyberpunk settings and stories

Douglas Underhill

I genuinely grieve the end of each season for a little bit. You guys are great - thank you for making what continues to be my only must-listen-now podcast. See you for Season 4!

Ryley Henry

Intro music suggestion. Since it's grandparents in space: A sci-fi version of The Ink Spots using only synths.

Kindly Giant

Jesus Christ - I fucking love you guys

Redsriding

Totally agree with Anthony about the end! Freddie and Matt rlly made the series for me 🥲 u all bring so much joy to my world. all that said, the cognitive dissonance re: will not being a controlling DM is frying me lmao

Maggie

Y’all have such a gift, no other podcast (or media for that matter) makes me laugh as hard and often as this one. As long as you’re putting out work (and even after with all the re-listening we do), you’ll always have an audience <3

Alvin Bo Balvin

Love this show and love you guys. I enjoyed the Peach Pit equally as much as I enjoyed the main show. Listening to you guys is such a pleasure.

SonOfABoofo

I would be happy for any Freddie DMed season/miniseries

corundum liqueur

Question for everyone except Beth: what percent of the D&D/COC mechanics questions that you ask are for you, and what percent of your questions are to clarify rules for the listeners? Beth, we know it’s 100% for you, and we love you for it.

P R

Big agree! I think some of my issues with this season stem from Matt almost delighting in kicking over the sandcastle in a way that felt mean, in a sort of toxic 'that's what my character would do' kind of way.

Patrick Morris

I would bet it's 100% for themselves. So much of playing ttrpgs is having to remind yourself/players how certain mechanics work in the game. aTleast from my experience that is

Patrick Morris

Yeah I agree that Matt and Anthony can be those types of player but it's also good to hear them mention that they also have discussions if things are getting to out of hand, but it seems like everyone who gets in to the GM seat(will, and Anthony. I guess Matt got dad hammer) all know there players and everyone knows what to expect and are accepting of that. Someone mentioned it earlier but a session zero is nice for that.

corundum liqueur

Idk sometimes Will gets a tone when he asks a question that makes me think he’s thinking about how we all forgot the rules (we did) and needs an easy prompt for Anthony to explain it to us again.

Cr1ms0n_1412

Gg guys, love the season. Can‘t wait til season 4.

SuperNerd Che

Yo! As someone who has a history (and possibly present?) with addiction, I felt the theme song this season HAAARRRRD and hearing Maxton say that I was like: yo, yes, thank you… also this whole season was fucking fantastic y’all are amazing and I’m so glad I got the Patreon

Cody Buscher

Im not crying you all other people are crying ! Ill miss hanging in this pit with all you peaches

Gigi

i really agree with matt’s whole philosophy about no matter what beth chose it still easily could’ve gone really wrong. anthony did seem pressed that beth didn’t listen to him haha. i also love the fact that they “lost” this season. painful at first for sure, but we don’t always make the right or most appropriate decisions even if someone else thinks we should, and sometimes fate rolls the dice and it is not in your favour. it’s no one’s fault, a lot of the time you did your best and shit just Happens anyway.

Kacey

The DM is not there to serve the players. They are players and you are playing a game together that is meant to be fun and enjoyable for everyone there. Comparing a human being that you are playing a game with to a gaming console is actually crazy. Love you guys, genuinely, but you have lost the plot entirely and I do feel like highlighting this kind of gameplay as something good is harmful to the hobby as a whole. You’ve made jokes about that in the past, but after getting into TTRPGS, I have experienced firsthand how this rhetoric is harmful/toxic to spaces that are supposed to be about having fun and being creative in a collaborative way. I beg anyone still reading this: if you are going to play a ttrpg with anyone, online or in person, DO NOT treat the DM as though they are there to serve you. You do not want to be that person. Focus on working together to create something fun and interesting while remaining respectful. Antagonistic attitudes toward DM’s should not be glorified or painted as something “new and cool and edgy”. That’s called just being an asshole. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Justin Robins

"if we had made it, I wouldn't have been as happy as how sad I was that we didn't." I like that

Allison Kist

Personal fav: Will and Matt’s yes-and fight over Kelsey’s parents

Allison Kist

Not Beth almost falling into the trap of Big Laugh

Jason Doty

Two words. Tony Colette

Raccoon_Coded

Freddy saying he's going to be unhinged next season as if he's ever been hinged in any season

Raccoon_Coded

Fr though, I adore you guys. Keep up the great work. Thank you for giving us content that makes us laugh and cry, and for your interesting and relatable takes in the aftershows. So keen for the next season!

Walker Brown-Adams

Final thoughts: still one of my favorite podcasts to relisten to; Kanye syndrome be damned. Specifically S1 and sons & sonsibility

Alex Haché

Listening to this, I'm 35 minutes in, the talk about the decisions and the uncertainty. It reminds me of a quote, I read it in Solo Leveling Ragnarok, not sure if thats the origin, but the quote is about time of crisis. "Make the right decision right now, and find out later if it was the correct one"

Shannon

Season 4 theme song: theremin or silence. Theremin style I was thinking was the album The Living Air by Zen Mothers. I loved the ending. I was curious to see if Will twisted it to ensure things went well and I like that it didn’t. Kelsey forever! I absolutely LOVED her.

Shannon

Kanye syndrome?

Teddy Roosevelt

I deeply appreciate this and adore the podcast I am at a place in my life where I can subscribe to have an ad-free feed but man it is great listening to this season and can't wait for more

Miki

FUCK YOU ANTHONY BURCH I LOVE THE WAY YOU DM i missed you take care of your damn sick mind

Jacob

Nah link is my favorite matt character

Worm Wizard

Personally, I think the ending was very appropriate for a CoC campaign. My favorite CoC story was when my friend rolled a 100 on the final roll of the game, trying to send up an emergency flare to signal the derigible that was coming in to rescue the party, and the flare ignited the blimp and killed everyone lol

Lady Loon

I was sad that it ended the way it did, but I think it kind of completes the show for what it is. An existential horror with moments of humanity.

shantastic

I wanna karate chop Anthony into space sometimes! freaking "...I, as a DM, shit the bed again" youre the best in the biz baybeeee

Cleb Stew

I haven't really left any comments before but I have been listening since 2020 and have rewatched seasons 1 & 2 more than 6 times each, no joke. This is my comfort podcast no matter what the story is or if I've heard it 5 times before. I always recommend this to everyone as a great dnd podcast that has amazing story direction and hilarious bullshit going on. I really loved this season and I'm so fucking pumped for the 4th when Papa Anthony (so sorry) is back!!! Thank you for everything you guys do it has been keeping me going and making my long work days less monotonous, much love to you all and to this community 🧡🧡

William Harteis

Definitely late to write this and not sure if you are even going to read this. Been listening since the middle of season 1, before the whole time travel, went back and re-listened to Season 1 three times, Season 2 twice and I can't wait to go back and listen to this again. Love everything that you guys do and always excited to see a new episode out. Will, you did such a great a job with season, seemed a little out of hand at one point but you were able to bring it back and get everyone back on track. I hope you guys are able to do this for years to come to keep me looking forward to some amazing content with really funny creators.

Craig Beshears

I get what Anthony is saying. It’s like doing all the work to unlock the true ending and the secret final boss and then still choosing the standard ending and somehow ending up with the worst ending. But his reactions are what made it worth listening to. The emotional investment is what made that ending so captivating just as much as the writing. Thank you to all of you for another amazing season. I’m an Anthony die-hard so hearing him say he arguably shit the bed last season had me HOT and I’m super excited for the next!

Ken

The theme needs to be a prog rock ballad about 4 wizards of ancient power crossing time and space to do battle with eldritch beings of unknowable evil

Ken

And it NEEDS to be 12 minutes long

Brandon Curtis

Episode 15 was bad and Anthony and Matt have got to let it go 😂 That epsiode had me black out to the point where I had to listen one more time to even begin to follow what was happening 😅 Rest of the show was a blast!

Shannon

Kelsey is my new fav character. ❤️

Lauren Boersma

Love this season. I know Anthony wanted to sacrifice his character, but I’m so glad he didn’t/couldnt. I think the suicidal character being able to justify his suicide by sacrifice would’ve been far less satisfying. Also love that y’all didn’t change the ending to make it more palatable. Super fun great job everyone and amazing job DMing will! Proud of yall

Lucas Payne

I’m coming in a few months late on finally getting to finish season 3. 👏Will👏killed👏it👏this👏season! DMing is HARD. It’s also wildly more vulnerable than people give it credit for. You’re writing a story that you “think” has merit/is cool, while also trying to make it worth the time that your friends are willing to devote to it. Then you add a podcast audience to the list, and it’s a mountain of responsibility. I was WILDLY impressed with this season. As always, everyone was incredibly entertaining. Thank you for continuing to put out such great work over the years!♥️

Ralph Hill

I loved this season. This finale broke my heart. I understand Francis's frustration, but I also agreed with Kelsey and everyone with the thought that they don't want to allow Francis to be the one to sacrifice. I honestly thought the crew would do what they usually do best and come up with a sneaky third option. (Like for example: using Timmy's gate ability to close the gap on the dick in the ocean and fire the energy from the dagger through the gate) But I think Will did too good of a job in making the crew hyperfocus on the two options he laid out. All in all I love this season. The the story was compelling, the system is awesome, the stakes were high and dramatic through the full season, the characters where great, and our crew had an amazing performance.

Skye the Bi

1:07:27 another great line from that scene was: “How many men walk into a bathroom and come out $20 richer?” “You don’t want to know the answer to that question.”

James Eames

Players: The DM is a game console, here only to serve us Also players: God it's so hard to find a DM, how come no-one wanna DM these days?

Broden Orr

I definitely agree that this is the best ending to a season. It was genuinely crushing, and I applaud you time and time again that you had the balls to end the season in failure, and not try to force a victory out of it

Broden Orr

I feel this 100% I know My DM loves making a really awesome sandcastle, and he will allow us to kick certain parts of it down, but he makes us work for it, and that's where the fun comes from in our games. Something like this show would not work for our group, but that doesn't mean I enjoy either any more or less the best part is when you kick down a part of his sandcastle, and accidentally put some of ours (as a group) at risk. our games are largely about political intrigue, so he has just as much power to kick ours as we do his

Brandon Curtis

I love this podcast, but it’s funny to me how Anthony can’t just admit they caused ONE truly bad episode of this season. Like dude it’s okay; we all mess up, just own it! I loved this season but I’ll die on the hill that the bigfoot arc sucked and it wasn’t Will’s fault. I literally tuned out while listening to it on a run because I was so bored

42:00 I kind of agree with what she says here, so I am never listening to this season again. It hurts too much that they went through all this and my favorite character(Tony)died so early and they still fail.
