Important point of order: there may not be toilet paper in the Cars Universe, but there are definitely bathrooms and bidets, because Mater encounters them in Cars 2. That and his “I never leak” mantra seem to imply that Cars has poop adjacent stuff.

I feel like you guys aren't seeing the tie between all the seasons. The tie between the first three is obvious with the whole oakridge facility disaster which connects the first two seasons to the third aswell as at the mountains of dadness. At the end of season 3 you get the hangnail which was part of something IN THE DARK that the powers that be feared. And when herb gets brain blasted with exposition and gets the best roll Anthony mentions " the light of the luminous casts a shadow, and within that shadow you can hear breathing. something old and powerful, a bony scab wridden creature scuttling from shadow to shadow drawing plans together to unknown ends" I think that has to be the thing that the hangnail is from.

So they rescheduled it and in-between when the original happened and the re do a player named Eric money, I think, was traded between the teams and so he has stats for both teams in "technically" one game
