Okay I have listened to every episode on release day and every uncut episode shortly after release and all the talking dad stuff but.... I do not remember anything about a dimensional witch. I've been confused ever since the leaf call to Erin. I don't remember Scam saying that about how to get home but it's POSSIBLE I guess that I just don't remember that. However.... Anybody got an episode number for that dimensional witch conversation? She wasn't dating anyone when the dad's left Payden with the blacksmith for the very first time. Or even when she got killed by the library. Which was the last time the dad's talked to her before the leaf call.

Found it. I'm actually disappointed I didn't remember it, lol. That's some damn good improve on Anthony's part. But it was pretty insignificant at the time and got waaaaay overshadowed the moment the fortnight reveal came up. Oh well, anyways, my mystery solved I suppose...
