I always consider the actual podcast to be canon and then talking sets or random riffs to be canon...guidelines.

Drodree

Sorry for you and your mom and I give you good vibes!!!!!

Drodree

S2 SPOILERS ....... Ik its just a joke but Ron joking about forking Carol while being daryl's "brother" is making me think about lark and sparrow 😭😭😭

Drodree

I'm so mad that tattoo artist could fork this up like it's your job????? But I get that it's nice to have stuff in common with the dads 😇

Cristian Reyes

In another Talking Dad they talk about trying not to do in character improv questions. Because it would be hard to track stuff on the main feed vs. Locked behind the paywall.

Ryley Henry

Charleston Chew is vanilla nougat, not caramel... and it's ashamedly my favorite candy 😅😭

Dana Hazzard

Season 2 spoiler Piss boy runs in the Wilson bloodline apparently 😂

liam morin

i think this episode and one of the ron/terry episodes are the two that made me realize how much this show emotionally touches me i love this one so much

Daniel

Ugh this episode always gets me to cry cause I wish my dad had the development like Daryl has w Grant

Oddkeep

They keep saying Ron would be Darryl’s brother. But he would be his Uncle, cause Ron and Payton are “half brothers”

-Artist's-Void-

I was really hoping Grant would end up with Yeet! But nooOOoo, Mr. Daddy Master said that Sir Yeet Bigly was heterosexual (no shade to the series, you guys and gals have done amazing work!)

Claire Wilson

Grant Wilson breaks my heart every single time.

Daan Slangen

Payden getting in the dadhuddle, but not getting the knife kinda feels like anakin joining the jedi council, but not be named a master. Better watch out.

Caleb Crawford

As a non-paying listener for years, I really respect this. Never felt like I was missing anything important because I didn't pay.

Caleb Crawford

I echo what Drodree said and say I'm sorry for your loss and sending good vibes too!!

yaboihesh

In my region, when you mix all the soft drinks we call it swamp water 😂

Mighty Mjolnir

Wait did Anthony have a kidney transplant (only if he’s okay with talking about it)?

Katherine Zhang

He donated his kidney to a stranger. He talked about it a bit in his stand up show. . not sure of the details ha ha

Matt Bond

I’m not crying. My eyes are sweating…

Marissa Y.

Paeden saying he likes the nickname "piss boy" is incredible, post season 2

Eoin Warne

Relistening to this series again, and man I was crying with the biggest smile at my face when Daryl was running with Grant at the end. God this show is so damn good man.

Emmy Dee

Man the talking sons pod cast is going to go wild

Sean O

This was a very happy episode. We love our happy dads

Alonso Gomez

Hang on.... Anthony just said that Darrell is 50+ years old! That's not middle age! 🤯🤯

JEnduro

For a comedy podcast this show makes me cry too often.

Christopher Pete

Spoilers: This was the sweetest thing ever! A full storyline dedicated to a father and a son finally being able to cry it out together?!? Everyone crying and talking about how it would be wrong to mock them for crying? This podcast is more wholesome than Swiss cheese!

Taco Dragons

Negatory. He was stating his dad is 50 something and just worded it wrong.

Ryan

Made my week! Love that you all keep making a solid adventure podcast balanced with ridiculous humor and real hard conversations. The player buy in is stellar.

Shelby Holder

*Spoilers* Daryl talking about his dad dying and how he didn’t know how to feel and couldn’t feel is the same way I felt when my mom died when I was in high school. This is how I felt then put into words and nothing has ever hit me so hard before in this podcast. I love this podcast so much! 😭

Emeryth

This is one of the funniest and happiest episodes in a while. 😂 Needed these laughs today! Awesome work guys!

Joshywoshy

I loved the final interaction between Grant and Daryl and then later on with the rest of the dads. It just feels so organic and natural and wholesome and real. Props to the acting ability of all the cast members.

Fennily

I missed it? The countdown says 6hrs left

Jake the Bard

Not to be the 'akshually' guy, but didn't Freddie say that Glenn also has a tattoo of the pentatonic scale on his arm? Or was that a gag?

Audrey McKenzie

I feel like that was in a Talking Dad episode. I kind of remember Will saying Henry has a trilobite tattoo because he knows someone who does and Beth talking about her stick n poke yo!!!

Jake the Bard

Ohhh yeah! I was remembering it as a dad fact but I think you're right

Alonso Gomez

No sir at 14:22 Anthony says, he'll also remember being your dad for 50 something years. Implying that Darrell's dad was his dad for 50 plus years before passing away. One does not become a father when they are born, but they do when they have a kid. Also the fact that Anthony said HIS father kinda sets it in stone.

Unnur Hrafnsdottir, BlackBar Books

What a good wholesome episode. I'm glad that Darryl finally had a big cry with Grant. I'm about as proud as Henry right now.

John Dandy

I think he just worded it wrong. In his mind he was thinking "Darryls Dad is 50 something". and had forgot he wasn't his dad for the entirety of Darryl's Dad's life.

Alonso Gomez

Yeah no I get what he meant. But in podcast and DND world where how you word it matters a lot. 😆😆

Theenie

Wholesome content alert. Also, urine trouble if anything happens to Paeden.

Hot Drinks

I want this podcast to last forever

JD Marien

One of these days I hope to make it 😭 I seem to be scheduled to work late night shifts at the hospital Everytime there are hangouts happening

Kyle Barnes

Although these aren’t in the “main” podcast in talking dads episode 12 they do talk about each dads tattoos. Glenn having “rockstar” sleeves and a blue scale tattoo on his forearm. 🤔

Noah Jay

Re: Henry's tattoo--I legit had a peace sign tattooed (part of a larger tattoo) and the artist fucked up and made the Mercedes symbol. It's on my back so I didn't notice in the quick view in the mirror at the parlor, but my friends pointed it out that evening. I was HORRIFIED. I had to wait 6 weeks for it to heal before the artist could correct it. No idea how a tattoo artist in a hippie town doesn't know what a peace sign is...ANYWAY. That tattoo has long since been covered by a massive raven tattoo, so I guess I've got all the more in common with Henry :D

Bex Boster

Oh my God I'm just listening back and listening to this episode and I had several surgeries on my esophagus which left me with small little scars across my abdomen. And I was... Imagine this... A 16-year-old girl who is just chubby enough that her belly button made a flat line instead of the circle... And my sister said hey your scars look like a winky face.... So thanks for the flash back. 🤣
