I think it was a way to balance the vagueness in what he was tried for as well as the arguments for or against them. Since being a good dad and good person cant be fut into perfect boxes, they can kind of throw whatever they want in wherever (as seen throughout the whole trial). This way it gives it room for morality. The jury can only do so much but when weighing (if they kept in the second degree murder charge) second degree murder vs doing it for the greater good. Where does that land you when the charges laid against him are or a moral nature. It also gives Anthony a bit of deniability so less hate can be sent his way for the possible consequences. Although to me it feels obvious what he's trying to do to Glen which kinda railroads them all into the next arc. Anthony knew where he wanted Glen and it seemed to me that he was gonna do everything he could to screw him. Not as the omega daddies, but as the DM. Which is super antagonistic.

They really don’t owe you anything. It’s really annoying that you expect people to cater towards your every needs. You know this is a podcast that can get crazy and sometimes dark. If you choose to put yourself in the position of listening to this podcast then you should be an adult and handle the aftermath with more grace rather than playing the blame game.

Credit to someone on tumblr for referring to it this way in the first place, but whew this trial is my "Orpheus going to get Eurydice". I want it to end differently every time I revisit it. I want the circumstances to change. I want the other dads to give him advice on how to connect with Nick! I want him to get to say goodbye! I know Glenn is meant to be comic relief, but my god. My heart breaks every time.

During this rewatch alot of Glenn made more sense to me. Yes he sucks as a dad, there's no doubt in my mind that's true, but he cares about Nick. He just doesn't know how to do that probably. The loss of his wife set him back to what he was before her, he never faced his grief which in turn meant Nick also didn't face it. One could say that Glenn never faced his issues but in life not everyone does and in the end, he made the right choice to make sure his son had a good life.

Just for future reference to any of the casters any spell that doesn't specify can be ended at will if it requires concentration, that includes on anyone's turn without a reaction needed. So on one hand, thank you for adding the tag for verbal abuse, I hope it helps prevent someone else like me from going into the episode unprepared for what's to come. On the other hand, silently changing it without acknowledging that it had to be changed is not cool. The community reaction to my concerns was met with, 'hey dumbass, the tags ARE there, it's nobody's fault but your own for not reading the tags.' How was I meant to read a tag that wasn't there? How is the community supposed to support each other if they can't look and instead say, 'hey it looks like that tag is there now'? For this reason, I am cancelling my support. Do better.

This was an amazing episode! Anthony is an amazing actor with Willy and I was completely blindsided by the ending. I've seen a few comments here that people have been triggered by him sans a content warning and that's definitely something that could have been avoided. I'm going to be cautious here and state that art can make people uncomfortable and I don't think you should sacrifice that real raw malice and contempt that Willy exhibits in the hopes of being universally inoffensive. As long as the trigger warnings are clearly posted please don't feel the need to inhibit yourselves as artists. But also please try to make sure that people don't get hurt as your audience continues to expand.

This episode made me cry. The ending had me in bits and although I'm still crying this episode was amazing. Anthony fucking kills it as Willie so hard that when he teased Daryll I literally screamed at my phone "Oooh I cant wait for them to kill you". Needless to say everybody else in my bus was very concerned 🤣 I don't like to pick favourites between the dads as they're all amazing but I do have a soft spot for Glenn so I'm so excited to see where the story goes! #DadBoys4Lyfe
