“Because adulthood is bad!!”

Garrett Durham

Jimmy being excited about Beth’s feet finder page was so funny in the background.

Aaron Hayden

Just throwing it out there, there is an amazing 80s mystery cartoon tabletop game called Jinkies! Worth checking out.

Golden_Grimm

Listening to the calling squidward part of this is funny to me. Especially with season 3 airing now

Marissa Y.

Jimmy being so effusive with his praise and appreciation vs. Freddie's curmudgeon energy is so funny.

Gabe

Given the new Stranger Things season, any chance of a Mall of Cthulhu one shot? :)

Jason Boulet

Now THIS, is an Epic Gamer Moment™️

Guy Man dude

This was my favourite episode of talking dads!

Levi Hooper

Oh man I would love to play board games with this group. I wish I lived closer to LA...and not in Maine.

Alex

I have never rushed to Google faster in my entire life (if you know you know).

Cherry

"Thank fuck I am Anthony Burch" is my new catchphrase

Ser Nezlyn

REALLY hoping Jodie is a permanent edition!

Ivan Navi

Do a doctor who one shot and a Sliders one shot

Era

mall of cthulu would be amazing

Roger Meadows

There is, in fact, a Doctor Who roleplaying game and it's not bad at all, in my opinion. It's actually the first one I ever played before finally playing D&D. I'd LOVE to hear the crew do a one shot using it!

Devin Awe

My favorite one-shot to run is just the plot of the 2002 Live-Action Scooby Doo movie.

GeekinkOut

I really like Jodie and want him to stick around but I also want Glenn to get his son back because as a parent it’s too painful to think about that situation.

Xander C

I really enjoyed Jimmy in this ep and excited to see where the Jodie stuff goes BUT that being said I am quite relieved that they’ve more or less confirmed he isn’t now just another permanent primary character.

BumblingRose

Wiki feet is a thing?! Beth did mention doing that foot peel thing once; guess I’m not surprised she’s on there.

Dave!

Scoothulu. Come on guys, this ain’t rocket surgery!

Brian Linares

My wife and I love the "Mystery" bit in Fry and Laurie!

Lottie Davies

There's a book by Edgar Cantero called 'Meddling Kids' where Mystery Inc face Cthulu, it's superb and I thoroughly recommend it. Just in case anyone needs that content

James Zak

Someone beat Freddie to the punch thisfootdoesnotexist.com

Re: Mall of Cthulu - I know that Dimension 20s newest season does something slightly in that vein for 1 character / the first ep. I don't think that should stop you guys at all! Just felt worth mentioning, like as a heads up.

Theodor P

I‘d like them to play the Kids On Bikes 80‘s Setting RPG System so much!!

Axel Selhammar

I'm a dad myself and I could never imagine losing my son but it's such a smart and scary way to explore parenthood. So Nicholas doesn't know that Jodie isn't his real dad, in fact, Jodie IS this version of Nick's dad, not Glen. Would I want to take that away from someone? Could Nicholas ever be Glenn's son? Furthermore, like, what is having a good parent and being "better off"? Does the old Nick even exist anymore? Was he destroyed in the creation of Jodie and Nicholas and would they have to perish to get Nick back. Who has the right to decide that? It's really deep and weird.

Axel Selhammar

Can someone create a wikihow article explaining how to forget wikifeet exists?

raven rodger

I'm glad I was able to start this podcast when it's just sorta getting on it's feet because,TAZ is as One Piece levels, and I just can not

Taco Dragons

The Adventure Zone has arcs. I would highly reccomend balance because, sorry Travis, but Balance kicks the spit out of graduation. But then after balance they played a bunch of mini campaigns. I listened to I think 2 of the 3....or 3 of the 4. But really all of them can be skipped. Then into graduation which if I had to guess, has maybe less than 20 episodes left? I can't imagine too much more. It's very manageable with it being only hour long or so episodes. And Griffan's story in the balance arc was so captivating. My mountain I want to climb is Critical Role. That's One Piece level.

Nat Simmonds

"that just means I'm White", that was so fucking quick and so funny

Paige Kujan

Holy... I absolutely love the idea of dubbed body swap dads, that’s a beautiful idea!!!

Min

I'm glad they talked about Nick. It's so odd to me to me that people hate Nicholas, but loved Nick. He is literally the same boy, he is just copying and idolizing a different dad. Like, don't blame this kid, that sends an awful message.

Scott

As a huge fan, and career police officer, this one was hard to listen to. When did it become do unpopular to be a cop? Ive spent my whole life just trying to be a decent person.

Rob Harding

It's very much a specific joke about the type of person Jodie is though. The fact he's a cop his hated by Glenn. It's more that he is the opposite of Glenn so him being a cop is so on the money and obviously Glenn's hate comes out. But Jodie is the type of person who becomes a cop to be the hero type. It's a bit of a power trip for him. The joke then is that he isn't the kind of high octane supercop stereotype that he clearly envisions himself being. It's the kind of person Jodie is that is unpopular. It's the difference between the topic of the joke being the joke itself I'd say.

NarukiTooth

Idk if y’all read these older comments anymore but, if I was to choose a merch item I would buy, (I have bought other things of course) but I would love the idea of like because Glenn and Jodi are opposites, a coin-with Glenn on one side and Jodi on the other.

Spinnaker

So it IS a whole new timeline with a new granddad? It's interesting that Willie allowed it (in fact caused it) to happen when something like that could chaotically affect his schemes.
