Not to be a Huge Nerd, but a version of God is actually seen in The Clone Wars (season 3 iirc.) He was the ultimate creator of the Force and is the mediator of balance. His two children represent the Light Side and the Dark Side of the Force respectively, and he constantly mediates conflict between them. Drama with Anakin leads him to kill himself.

My wife wasn't a big Star Wars fan when we met, but I was able to get her into the series and now she loves it! The way we approached it was starting with the movie Rogue One, which is a prequel to the original first movie and a great standalone film. And then we watched the films in release order (4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3) after that. Or you could watch the movies in chronological order starting with Episode 1 Phantom Menace and if you like that keep going (2, 3, Rogue One, 4, 5, 6). But if you watch Rogue One and/or Episode 1 and the movies aren't your speed, I'd recommend trying watching The Clone Wars animated series which is probably my favorite SW media of all time. Don't need a lot of SW knowledge going into, just watch and enjoy! I hope this helps! Star Wars isn't for everyone, you don't have to love it. But if you give it a try like my wife did and end up actually liking it, SW is such an amazing universe to get into - movies, shows, books, comics, you name it. So I'd recommend giving it another try. But if you give it an honest effort and it's not for you, no shame, at least you tried!

As someone who knows nothing about star wars and only have watched, I think it was ep 4, and hated every moment of it, this is by far the best Star Wars things I’ve ever heard. (Also the star wars ride at Disneyland is a banger) As a fake Star Wars fan, just a random question most likely not the place to ask but I desperately want to get into it, is there any actual good star wars piece of media out there AT ALL or am i being gaslighted by the internet

well, episode 4 is "A new Hope", also known as the first film, so that would usually be where you would start, so maybe the films aren't for you... although episode 5 "The Empire Strikes Back" is where the original trilogy REALLY picks up. Maybe you would like "Star Wars: Rebels", a CGI animated series following a small cell of rebels before the events of "A New Hope" and the Internet isn't gaslighting you about star wars being good, it might just not be for you (which i can't fathom, but hey, everyone is different).
