Another mention of Will getting up dogged and hoping for revenge makes the pay off in season 2 SO good. (Also as someone who has been hyperfixating on this dang podcast for 8 months now, I think about screenwriting scenes for it ALL THE TIME. Animators, come at me. Honestly I would go for an animation style and storytelling closer to Boondocks. And like Beth said the trope would set the tone. I think it would work very well.

Okay after watching Vox Machina and absolutely loving that. This would be an amazing animated series. The scene on the bridge with the sword coming down visually in my head would be badass and stunning. Like in my head I imagine him holding the dagger, parting the army in the middle camera panning through the movement and as it gets bigger it pans around him while it started to get heavy and falls directly in them middle of the bridge. That is so cool in my head

It's not just fantasy comedy. It's fantasy dark comedy with heavy cursing, nudity and real life trauma. Add to that hilarious jokes, literal magic including time travel AND crosscutting to the real world so it's not even true fantasy you have something the world has never seen and Hollywood has never greenlit ever lol.
