Not totally sure, but Anthony has said in other episodes/miniseries, especially the Cthulhu ones, that Lovecraft for example viewed those with insanity as less valuable humans to society. So I think he doesn't want to perpetuate that idea. It may also be something that is particularly close to Anthony that he doesn't want to mess around with. Either way, I'd say better to err on the side of caution if you're not sure, so I respect it.

I kinda get why they didn't go ahead with it, but I'm also curious why it seems problematic. Is it because it's seen as treating "insanity" too jokingly? If that's the case there are other conditions like paralyzed or blinded that could be viewed in the same light. Or is it because Beth's playing a girl and there is a history of men purposefully misdiagnosing women with similar mental afflictions?

The intro was great but of all the episodes I heard this one is my least favorite. I felt that the dice rolls was dragging the conversation to long. The big reveal of are queen Erin could have been better if you said it last episode at the end. The build up in this episode felt forced not natural.
