Evan Sinclair

Does anyone know what took so long for this episode? I know they’re busy I’m not tryin to be a duck I just noticed this one took a little longer than normal

Mantross

They skipped last week because some were traveling and some were under the weather.

Meganknitts

I’ve been looking forward to this so long.

Xavier Cruz

I noticed it to Im just happy it’s out I’ve been relistening to the series, I was about to be caught up before a new episode came out lol

link

YAYYYY

Jaci

Yipppeeee

Wyvern

RAHHHHH YAY

Zahny Guthrie

Straight up I cannot listen to this at work. I cannot be chuckling silently at my desk like this, it's embarrassing.

Phil H

Let them know what they're missing.

Ndiho

Shout out to who’s ever idea it was to have Anthony just moaning for the intro. 10/10 creative choice

Zoe Pelishek

Holy SHIT that was a good episode

Phil H

As the old song goes, "Don't it always seem to go, that you don't know what you've got till its Ron."

Elyse Johnson

Why does Patreon cut off the end joke?

An Lam

Omg the intro 😂

Arlo Thyme

Generational trauma and how it effects every person down the line through the lens of several different families has me crying in the club this fine Tuesday morning. Also Cassandra Swift is my favorite on how she has raised Taylor. Absolutely stellar episode and worth the wait. I hope everyone is feeling better!

Zachary Fenton

That pasta asmr was a weird experience with headphones in at work

Creekie05

I love how happy and excites Beth got about the yearbook book club

Sydney Ess

And just in time for a lunch listen

MJ Handsome

I full on cackled at my desk and everyone near me looked alarmed lol. No regrets

DungeonBrat

I love that over the course of like, 5 years, Freddie just CONSTANTLY finds ways to ruin Glenn even more and then MAKES ME CRY FOR HIM !!! Stop pls I cannot handle this lmao

Erin

LOVED this ep. Glad that Glenn & Nick are both starting to be accountable for their parenting and that Taylor is finally dealing with his emotions.

Rae Ellis

Aren't they still married? All there is to settle is who is the king and who is the royal consort!

Dani L

Man, Freddy’s been killing it this season but this is his best work yet. Taylor asking about time travel magic broke my heart. And the switches back and forth between Glenn and Taylor were masterful. This one is an all-timer for me.

Bossbubu

I love what Freddy and Anthony did with the Close/Foster Family. It just breaks my heart. It is just so relatable and it sucks. Because yeah maybe this is as good as it is going to get. All of them deserve so much better.

Dylan Miles

Crying at Ron, Terry, and Scary and then IMMEDIATELY being Angry about the Close parenting style gave me whiplash lol

The Crow Witch

The Close family isn't thaaat bad tbh.

Smo

Taylor needs to reclass as samurai fighter 😩😩😩

Ellie Rohrback

I noticed that too. I always listen to the end joke! 😭

Frank Bahen

I know y’all are feeling self conscious about this season but a lot of episodes as of late have been really good, and this one is one of the best y’all have done ever keep up the amazing work!

Cree

Hell ya all my homies love resolution

Seth

happy birthday!!

sierra kaiulani

Dudes - every time I set in to listen to a new episode I get that feeling of *oh! i'm about to watch my favorite movie*

the Dungeon Maxter

Holy shit Freddie is incredible playing two characters at once?!

Purple Cool Cat

I’ve never felt more uncomfortable with an opening of anything ever

Hunya Usmani

Wait Beth isn’t wrong though in the intro about Mercury. The rotation of Venus vs it’s orbit are in opposite directions which makes the day shorter

Tydgie

I would love to see the “fight” scene between Glenn and Terry animated more than the ACTUAL fight scene 😭😭

Mel Mel

I was thinking the same thing. I thought they'd have to go find Jodie (well. Unless that is a wrinkle, only halfway through the ep rn)

Venganza

Happy birthday!!!

Ico

58 after the battle when Jodie becomes demonized and right before they go through the portal he recognizes Glenn and it's kind of implied that nick started getting him memories back

Sarah Young-Church

I love all the Ron, Terry Jr., and Scary interactions ♡♡♡ little babies

Morti Mushy

Taylor saying the time travel shit for Nick to go back literally made me Oh shit in the middle of work.

Morti Mushy

Lol well psychology would beg to differ

Venganza

It happened in the episode when he became a demon. It was insinuated that he got his memories back

Aretha Tanklin

You can really hear the glee in Freddie’s voice whenever he gets to play against himself, but don't let it distract you from the fact that in 1998, The Undertaker threw Mankind off Hell In A Cell, and plummeted 16 ft through an announcer's table.

Garbage Game Night

I think he prefers it and that was a shock to Glenn but I don't think he dislikes it. Also, their clarification that Disneyland/world doesn't exist in their world was the first time it really became clear to me that it is truly a different world. That has some pretty significant ramifications... like the entire infrastructure of a functioning world was created from scratch upon the swap happening?

Garbage Game Night

It took 113.5 episodes, but Glenn is having character development lol. Seriously though, it was very well done by Freddie. The whole 'looking for time travel mechanic' was a stab.

StratoSpell05

this episode kinda hit hard. I never had the greatest relationship with my dad. Well it didn’t even exist. Not gonna get into what he did to me but yea that scene where glen is asking for a second chance and everyone realizing that there is no getting better almost brought me to tears. I felt like that. but i was in a dark place and reached out to my dad and realized that yea i won’t ever get a memory of him showing up to my band concerts or my games. But i know now that we can build a relationship that isn’t as father and son but as two people who have done a lot of wrong and want to do better

Gay Icon Yog-Sothoth

OMG I was crying laughing for the entirety of the first half and plain crying for the second half. This podcast is legendary

Matt

The pre episode banter here was so funny 😭

Frankenjam

I wish this is true because I love when Freddie is wrong but: One full day night cycle on Mercury is 176 Earth days with sunset to sunrise being 59days. And one full day night cycle on Venus is 243 Earth days with sunset to sunrise being 117 earth days.

Matt

All of Freddy’s characters in absolute denial of the generational abandonment too😭😂 great ep

Matt

The entire US military invading hell through the gunfire level 😭😭 top 10

Chaos_

I’m waiting for just doom guys to show up

Little Lozano

Lol the end with Scary just saying “boys are so stupid” was perfect lol

Michelle McCartney

I'm so happy to see Scary and Terry Jnr hug. So cathartic omfg I'm so happy for her and family Stampler in general. 🥰🥰🥰

t-birthofsin

what a fucking LEGENDARY intro what?!😂😂 I'm REELING

DJnicolicious

We need to turn Ron into a plushie it needs to happen!

Tommy

10/10 would buy

Rebecca S ✌🏻

I was in hysterics listening to this 😂 thanks guys

Anonymous

As an Elder Emo, just here to say I loved Beth's "maybe it WAS just a phase" joke. I am deceased with laughter 💀 🖤

JR

cant believe nic broke up with universal studios

Cal Bobell

The music and sound design for this ep slapped so hard

Mordecai

Favorite episode so far! I've been loving season 2 myself and tbh this episode was amazing cant wait for more! Just wanted to come make a comment and say awesome ep everyone!!

Betty

Love the Taylor Swift reference to bring in the bin to get on stage 😂

Risotto

Will going off leash in the intro🤣🤣

Creekie05

My favorite Freddy question “ Is Glen immune to bullets?”

Will Fisher

Getting a shoutout from Freddy has opened a core memory for me🤲

Kim

The sword fight always makes me laugh so hard..!!

WickedChild95

Funniest episode of the season. Glenn is always so goddamn funny

Mad Seb

"Be the person YOU would want to be around with " -Ron Stampler, business man

FabledWolf614

I thought Darryl did senses, not Lincoln?

Nato Yenkos

Just listened to this - hands down one of my favorite eps - everyone is on 🔥

Garbage Game Night

On a second listen - It would have punched a lot harder if Glen suggested they go to Universal instead, but might have been over the top. It's a miracle Glen had this much character development :).

Garbage Game Night

Nick: ... I'm saying it like it's negative but I didn't see a lot of Taylor growing up and we're cool now right? Taylor: Fuck yeah dawg---well......

Golden_Grimm

Ah yes, if I had a nickel for everytime the USA military invaded Hell. I would have 2 nickels. Not alot but strange it happened twice

Marissa Y.

I am one of the biggest advocates for how good season 2 is, but man..... Glenn abandoned his redemption arc, too, huh? (Also, the irony of him telling Terry he needs to take responsibility ☠️) (This is one of my only faults with this season. And isn't it *kind of* the other dads' fault that Nick couldn't come back to be there for Taylor? They established that the portals weaken the boundaries, and that could allow for the Doodler to corrupt Hell. I think I am missing how Nick is wrong in blaming them.) (Sorry to be critical of this season, I hold it very near and dear to my heart and the Close family is my favorite.)

Kenneth Olivera

Anyone else put captions on this episode?. Im completely dead from laughter and this is from the other side. Not worth it nickleback is playing all the time lol.

Clayton Barr

Listening to this now. It is funny to hear antifa instead of woke. Lol it is just stupid that they ever got mad about anti fascists.

Eoin Warne

Genuinely LOVE Ron. From where he was at the start of season 1 to this guy. Phenomenal.
