Heya,

World of Ruins will soon reach its climax, so I'm putting up the next poll! All of them will focus on training to a degree, but which kind (and the approach) depend on you ;) as usual, this poll will stay up until the last World of Ruins chapter hits Patreon.

Land of the Warlords: Having realized that peace with Illusea is impossible and requiring better training before he can tackle greater challenges, Simon forms a pact with Louis and his sister Lauriane, supporting the War Party’s goals in return for their help and guidance. As House Magnos briefly unites under the Fourth Overlord to exterminate its enemies inside and out, Simon begins to realize even his closest family members all have skeletons in their closet…

Includes: A War Party reign full of bloodshed and violence, warbeast creation, Louis & Lauriane mentorship (and true intentions), new Techniques, multiple messy romances, House Magnos taking on the rest of the world.

Unlocks: N/A.

Mastemo’s Angels: Having learned his mistake, Simon decides to follow a formula that worked and improve upon it. Marrying Euphemia while keeping Anna hidden to prevent Helel’s rise, Simon now finds himself ruling an empire mostly at peace as the Overlord of Light. A shepherd to some and a false prophet to others, Simon is about to show the world that true faith crushes like a mace…

Includes: An updated and improved Lux Vult Reign, Euphemia marriage & actual romance, Edict study, spell and Technique practice, kingdom-building and diplomacy, prophet/cult leader Simon, Brimir’s first crusades.

Unlocks: N/A.

The Five Sovereigns: Having realized he needs more training and experience if he is to live to his full potential, and seeking answers, Simon decides to spend a life studying Techniques and tactics while forming eidolon pacts. As he goes on a world tour stretching to Fablan, Uyo, and many other places, Simon realizes just how many corners of Brimir hold secrets yet undiscovered.

Includes: A big world tour with Belzemine and a handful of retainers, first close look of various locations like Muse, Uyo, or Fablan, Technique and battle tactics studies, eidolon ordeals.

Unlocks: The Shogun of Terror, Prince of Thieves, SPOILER Must Die.

Simon the Archmage: Seeking more training to better rule as Overlord and greater spellcasting knowledge, Simon moves to Cocagne and approaches Remedia again with an offer of alliance. As the Overlord and the Mage resume their affair and work together to save the world from certain destruction, Simon realizes that happiness always comes at a cost…

Includes: Simon and Remedia long-term romance, more spells, Libromancy unlock, Phoenix-related events, Noble Crestone potential acquisition, a good and bitter taste of the Zodiac Parade.

Unlocks: The Book of the Damned.

Federico Bellavista

Mastemo's Angels is the real deal. (But.... if that does not come to pass, then count my vote for the Five Sovereigns. Is that possible, Voidy?)

Void Herald

I'm afraid it wouldn't make sense at this point, but perhaps in the next ;)

TDMC

Oh no, the MILF cult is going to go insane here

BDS01

Hardest poll yet Void.

Aceluke

War, war, never changes! We must know the truth of why they do this (warlords).

Jamael Cape

I do not mislike the idea of the Overlord in Light

Hive Tyrant

WARLORDS GO LETS KIlL SOME ELVES

Conor

I can't choose void, these sound all good and want them all lol. A choosing between two MILF romances and potential multiple romances reign. This pains me, truly sound all good. Not sure I what I want.

Vulcan

Lowkey voting five sovereigns to thicken the plot

JB424222

The Five Sovereigns sounds the most interesting. And also lends itself well to spell creation later on down the line. The last time we ran into one of them the Oracle herself showed up too…

Niro

Five sovereigns time ‼️ I'm so curious about the X must die reign

George R

I love all these options.

Bilbo

We are 3 levels away from next Archmage level, right? Probably shelve Archmage until then

Cindermoth

There's so many good ones!!! Clearly Simon is made to be a cult leader, the Overgoat will not be stopped! But it'll also be nice to have a roadtrip and explore the other regions

Pradian

multiple messy romance - IS THIS THE NUCLEAR OPTION!

Kyle

Like the sound of the five sovereigns but I really want Simon to just f@#k up the elves. Land of Warlords it is.

Lloyd

Everything but the Eidolon world tour is basically something he already tried with a twist, so that one is my favorite. That being said, a war party reign with Luis and Norbelle is a close second, as I like those characters.

MAS

Thank you very much for not including a vampire option.

TDMC

It’s totally the oracle

Gristle Tock

Warlord has to happen lol. He NEEDS to know what cards the Oracle has and why/where a straight war of conquest would end before he can truly move on to other things. This would finally let him finish his plan to investigate the magnos family from awhile ago that Unicorn Overlord basically brushed aside. Will let him handle Louis in the future far better too.

LuciferLilac

Personally I feel like this is a really good time for a War Party reign; Simon is about maximum vengeful against the Elves, it's the only time I think he'd really countenance the sort of slaughter that reign will likely include.

alejandrox

lux vult 2.0!!!! VOTE FOR MASTEMO ANGELS!!!!

LuciferLilac

While there are reigns here I'd probably like *more*, I like to suggest that we go with whatever reigns feel most *in-character* for Simon :)

Andreas Finn

I am sorry milf lovers but I have to betray the cause for this one time cause I just need to finally learn more about Lauriane.

bob

Please, please. Please either remedia reign or euphemia reign please. God everyone please either mastemo angels or Simon the archmage please

mhaj58

Sorry to the Milf cult, but now’s the time for Simon to explore Brimir and live a life worth living.

Razor2811

I feel like Land of the Warlords is the most natural next step in Simon's path. The last two reigns solidified Simon's hate for the Oracle, so he is as close to the War-Party as ever. He also saw how fucked his homeland will be without him, so I can't see him abandoning Endymion in his next life.

Flufflez

6 levels, but I agree that Simon should do another Cocagne reign when he unlocks tier 8 spells.

Razor2811

Land of Warlords isn't really a twist on anything.

Ceremal

4 great choices tbh, bit too soon for lux vult 2 electric boogaloo though. Five warlords probably edges out the others, even if libromancy is tempting.

Cabot Crumbles

As much as I HEAVY advocate any and all Milf loving, you gotta be patient. If you want that love to truly mean something and to matter, you need the might to truly protect it. Especially if you want it to stick for any real amount of time.

Diego H.T.

Nooooo!!!! I wanna see this Overlord of Light, and come on, there is gona be romance with Euphemia, we must collect it all!!!!!

Lloyd

It is a ruling overlord reign, so it is somewhat similar to the Euphemia reign, just with a deal with Luis from the start instead of later.

Andrew Lechner

Land of Warlords. Simon is just getting off of two back to back reigns ruined by the Oracle, and the War Party is the last of his family we haven't really gotten to know. He needs to bond with them by learning new skills and killing Elves.

Zeke Devine

Could we do rank choice voting? So after this you do another one with the top 3 then with the top 2. It makes it a lot more fair and accurate.

Roman

Vote Land of Warlords people. It flows the best from current arc. Simon feels betrayed from the elves and white unicorn fleeing. He swore vengeance against them this reign. It won’t make sense to go on a world tour when he can do that later.

Misatek

Not possible with Patreon unfortunately. With votes not being final it kind of collapses in to ranked choice anyway

Vulcan

real i’ve been voting vampire simon non stop i can’t lie

RedZingyHedgehog

Warlords has got to be the pick here, we can finally complete the main faction routes.

Leo S.S.

Vote Land of Warlords! Get Simon learning Spaceslash! Get Louis aura farming! Get Lauriane Dr. Warcrimes! Even get Simon really breaking his celibate seal from the last few reigns. Join us in solving the Elven Problem!

FrozenPixel

From the comments Simon and others have been making it seems like a good time for him to consolidate his personal strength by taking the time to explore and learn. There's been a lot to process these last few reigns

SirSteveX

But I want all of them. I don't want to choose 😭

Helios 11145

guys we need to train. warlord will allow him to fight a lot and hone his toolkit. and a few levels wouldnt hurt.

Bilbo

That being said I agree with Warlords. We get to finish last "basic" choice and learn that lore, learn Techs from Louis and nuke Oracle. What's not to like?

Zach M.

Yeah it fits much better in terms of story arc progression

Armo

Simon the Archmage is pretty strong - Remedia and Simon collaborating could lead to some significant breakthroughs! Simon should really do all of these.

El jefe Soy yo

I think it's better to finish the reigns that don't unlock any further reigns, so we don't get overwhelmed by the options.

Charles Taussig

I think a Warlord arc makes the most narrative sense, even if the Sovereigns arc sounds more interesting. Simon just came out of a disastrous Church Party run and was given two arcs worth of hatred for the elves. It’d make sense if decides to throw his lot in with Louis to see what happens. I expect it to also go disastrously wrong and for him to come out of it with the idea that he can’t rely on either faction and must become strong enough to forge his own.

Pinpenny the great lithian

I don't care who wins, I wish only for Milflord to lose. There shall be no step-mom f7cking in this household!

SoulCaptain

That Cursed Musan Sniper for sure

2026-09-05 11:00 Whaaaa five sovereigns sounds the least interesting of the options, how is it in the lead? I shall have to hold out hope itll shift as more people vote. The first 2 are so frickin hard to choose between, but the 2nd option means we get to see more of the Overdaddy and the related jokes so I have to vote for it.

Knight Axel

Ah FUCK this is hard. Damn you for making all the options good!!!

Emily Gurnavage

Theres 2 options for that here, too, lol. No way to reconcile these rifts. But I neeeeed more Overdaddy and the jokes that come with it. Especially sister-daughter Norbelle.

Hive Tyrant

We need revenge for the elven cowardice! We need warlords! Let’s kill some fucking elves! Then we can go grab some eidolons!

Halfcrzy

Dammit! The one I pick is always last lolol. It'd be nice to see Remedia again, she was a fun character.

Tr0LLach

I'll keep voting against the War Party reign because I don't want to learn about Laurian's treachery/skeletons in the closet. Simon needs one decent sybling goddammit.

TDMC

Actually you are probably right now that I think about it

Thetacron

Vote Warlord! Vote for levels! Vote for dead elves! It's the perfect opportunity for Simon to vent his feelings about the Oracle!

Lindwurm227

We say that everytime (and it's true)

Hive Tyrant

Doesn’t make it go away! Just focus on killing elves!

Mjarkos

I know it likely won’t win this time but I reaaaaally hope we can get Mastemo's Angels at some point, Lux Vult was one of my favourite reigns and I'd love to see it perfected

CRAAAWLING IN MY SKIIIN

Pinpenny the great lithian

The tittle of this post had me so confused for a sec. "Why the duck is HR emailing me about training?" I then realized this wasn't in my work inbox.

Leo S.S.

Vote Land of Warlords! Get Simon learning Spaceslash! Get Louis aura farming! Get Lauriane Dr. Warcrimes! Even get Simon really breaking his celibate seal from the last few reigns. Join us in solving the Elven Problem! Just think of the glorious carnage, rightfully given to the oracle

Nightmare Lore

We do need the levels if we even want to use the Stronger Eidolons. But it doesn't mention which ones, they might be within range of usage. Edit: Eh, fuck it. This way I get two of my questions answered this way next week. I don't know what Hybrid the Librarian and the Alchemist would make.

Felix H.

Warlords would be useful...but once more Simon needs a long reign, one where he can consolidate his knowledge, train his abilities, make proper plans and most importantly: properly locate the gaps in his knowledge. Power is meaningless if one does not know how to apply it.

alejandrox

Relax, bro... I understand... T.T

Kosta

Yeah, I don't want to figure out that Thalas is the only decent member of that family.

ConstanTeen

I guess people are tired from romance. 😂 Or just want Belzemine's story to advance.

Myrdin

Warlords is already due. Simon must learn more about his closest family, and war against elves fits now by far the best.

Hubris

Land of Warlords flow very nice from this, since Simon is PISSED at Oracle right now. But... The Five Sovereigns sounds so good. Simon always wanted to travel, and at some point he will be too strong and maybe to jaded to appreciate it. And most importantly his ability to form eidolon pacts is ridiculously underutilized. He used a devour slot for it and never even got to summon two at a time. Kinda understandable when he only have 3. And it has so much potential. Not just having two monstrous fighters on call, but utility and flexibility of having various low level eidolons to pick two buffs from.

Alchem

Luckily we have 70 reigns to go. After seeing his powerlessness against Asterion and the Oracle the last arc, the most pressing need is for a training arc. We’ve done so much info gathering Simon hasn’t had much of a chance to just practice and train. The Five Sovereigns is the way to go before committing total war. The Overlord must lead from the front and Simon is still too weak to do so.

Nightmare Lore

It's the fact Simon would both pad out his summons while finally justifying his Dark Eidolon Perk. I'm 50/50 between it and Warlord due to still needing Levels to even control Vayan, Simon will need even more for the stronger ones. Take Shura as the last example of a powerful Eidolon.

Tylena Simmonds

Going with Warlords to finally get whats up with Louis and Lauriane (who tragically took a backseat since the start of the story) That and Simon can take any Techniques he learns from Louis and apply them to Five Sovereigns later.

Nightmare Lore

I'd ask for a Warlord vote then, if you'd kindly?

Alchem

It wouldn’t be satisfying. Simon hasn’t grown much stronger since getting dominated by the Oracle last arc. He needs to get stronger to fulfill his vengeance. In my opinion, it doesn’t flow well. In my eyes, Simon after getting big bro’d by Asterion and dominated by the Oracle should focus on becoming the Overlord the Oracle fears most. The Five Sovereigns is the way to go before getting vengeance. Him inevitably failing in the Warlords arc won’t be fulfilling. Save it for the next arc. Give him time to strategize and get stronger.

Raxiael

Reign of the milfs do itt

Jughead

Wow two MILF options? Simon is eating good either way

Scion

People need to vote for book of Damned unlock. The story has been wanting to unlock that forever and people keep on choosing random stuff that doesn't fit to story

Emily Gurnavage

I agree he needs more summons and such, but he also doesn't seem strong enough still to take on any of the sovereigns yet. That reign seems like itd be better saved for once Simon hits like 80+ and can actually reasonably fight such strong eidolons. Warlord is indeed a strong contender though, yea. Im torn between Warlord and Overdaddy 2 mostly.

Nightmare Lore

I would like to request that we vote for Warlords since I'd also like to point out we need the levels to even control the new Dark Eidolons. And that I asked Void that Dark Eidolon Pacts do grant social exp for the Summoner Crestone, so we'd want to be able to bring that along with us to power level that too.

Tr0LLach

Must we really lose the illusion of Simon having a single decent sybling?

Alchem

My thought is: Simon gets wrecked by the Oracle —> becomes coldly determined to beat her —> trains and strategizes —> commits I think we are at the cold determination stage where he knows his knowledge is great but he lacks the strength (lost to Asterion and the Oracle, saw what Elios could do and the heights he still had to reach), so he commits to get stronger first. Leads to the Five Sovereigns reign before the Warlords one. Why fight when you’re weak? Get stronger then commit. Failing at attaining vengeance would suck. Let’s give him the best shot he can get by training up.

Kosta

I want the world tour. It seems to me that's the last reign he'll use to explore the world before using the reigns to fight one or another enemy. There are obvious enemies like the oracle and Helen, but there are others that could interfere in case Simon makes a mistake, like Voivre, Asterion or Elios Magnos. And that's only in case he succeeds in uniting the Magnos family, otherwise he'll have as enemies Louis, Euphemia or both. Plus, the rest of the Zodiacs, the infamous Musan Sniper and whatever other foe that may appear. Plus, finding a way to erase the Overlord curse. Yeah, I feel like this is the last opportunity he has to explore the world.

Gristle Tock

Simon will get the best techniques from the Warrior that he will be able to keep training into the Five Sovereigns another time. Warlord will let him have a far clearer picture of what tools he will NEED for the future. Doesn’t make much sense to dedicate a full reign to training when he will be missing out on some of the best stuff technique wise.

Andreas Finn

Illusion of possible happiness is chaining our Overlord. All lies of past must be broken so that Overlord can build the Truth of future he desires.

alejandrox

Well guys, I don't think the MILF thing is going to work out!! T.T Then let there be war!!! War against the cowardly elves!!!

Noah

Simon the Archmage sounds like it’ll get us closer to a way to maintain relationships through the reigns via the use of Libromancy and Simon’s book, and while I feel like it’s not the most on theme after a reign of no human connections whatsoever, we should definitely do that one before too long

Pandelion

I'm surprised Mastemo's Angels is so low, the cult of the milf seems to be weakening.

Nightmare Lore

Techniques do seem to be more effective when spells aren't an option. Underworld Hammer was the only thing that actually hurt Asterion at all.

ChaosCatFood

These are all really good. I've been a diehard Land of the Warlords believer since it first became available but Five Sovereigns is really cool, and has some cool unlocks. I'm happy with either winning.

Nightmare Lore

True. It's why I'm 50/50 on them. But I want the Summoner Crestone to be brought along too for power leveling.

Alchem

The Five Sovereigns is the way to go, in my opinion. Simon just got dominated by the Oracle and saw a glimpse of what her and Elios are capable of and then was outclassed by Asterion. Simon should recognize he needs to train. Especially since the Adventurer last arc made him realize his foundations are weak. We shouldn’t just have him commit to obtaining vengeance now when he knows he will inevitably fail again. Let’s give him the best shot at success, which means shoring up his weaknesses and flaws. Let’s build him up this next reign, not just let Simon recklessly try now when not much has changed since the last arc. His emotions should’ve cooled a bit by this point into cold determination and realized he first needs to get personally stronger after experiencing her power.

Nomad

What both romance routes are low? Will we actually see a cool reign based on growth? Impossible I think land of warlords will give everyone what they want though. Multiple messy romances? Learning his favorite blind spot of a sisters motives? Learning to fight better? Hell yes to all the above.

Steven

Five Sovereigns so I know who SPOILER is. Then if Simon unlocks or is close to unlocking Tier VIII spells, Simon the Archmage to add the finishing touches to his mage/summoner build (also pure Norbelle comedy).

Alchem

Another thing going for the Five Soveriegns reign is that the unlocked reign “SPOILER Must Die” is probably the Oracle. Another reason to go for it if you want her to die lol

BrandyLeeT

I am usually Team Euphemia but Warlords is needed. Go kill those Elves !!

Nightmare Lore

Depends on the Eidolons. The stronger a Dark Eidolon, the more levels Simon will need to even use it. Otherwise, it's dead weight like Vayan. And that's not even going into the Sovereigns themselves. Shura would take forever to catch up to to actually use in combat. I'm not saying that your wrong in that regard, hell I think I made the point of two Aspices being useful even if the Eidolon ain't, but I still think a high level would help out in this case. Still tempting thinking what Title that'd get. Improving his Dark Eidolons maybe?

displayname249sf

We haven't had enough Louis. Warlords it is.

Alchem

The difference is that the Five Sovereigns reign is all about training and self improvement; it’s not a half assed reign where he needs to juggle multiple priorities, so he will get more out of it. He will also most likely learn under that one guy who is a technique master. Not sure if it was the Monk or someone else, forgot their name. Think of it this way, sure Louis could teach him some good techniques in the spare time Simon can put aside, but with the training reign, Simon can devote ALL his time to learn techniques, and more importantly, HOW to best train techniques, his skills, and spend his time. He will learn foundational skills and methods he never had the chance to learn in other reigns which will improve his methodology and process in ALL future reigns. The Five Sovereigns strengthens Simon’s foundation in the future. Process (The Five Sovereigns) vs short term gain (Land of Warlords)

Dazerg

Oracle Must Die is just Warlords

granndfunk

Five sovereigns sounds fun, but I have a hard enough time wrapping my brain around the CURRENT understanding of Brimir - I'm not ready for more lol Land of the Warlords it is!

Sly Bayesian Fox

Damn it's cutting it close! Come on, Warlords! BLOOD FOR THE BLOODLORD!

Alchem

To me, the Eiodolons part is what Void will use to guide Simon’s journey (where he goes), but the real meat of it is Simon fully devoting his time to train techniques and refine his battle tactics, not just do it on the side like most reigns. The Adventurer pointed out his weak foundations and Simon clearly improved his battle tactics this reign; I would like to see him continue to refine it in a more focused reign. Especially after seeing the results, solidly beating the Archer. Simon states it this chapter that the world is the Overlord’s, but to make that happen, he can’t just lose to the Oracle or Asterion. To do so, he needs to get stronger, which I feel flows well from this reign to The Five Sovereigns.

Yozora

five sovereigns is just better, why attacking illusea if he will just be beaten around by the oracle?

Alchem

Not necessarily. I assume it will turn out the Oracle had another thing up her sleeve that she’ll use or be revealed which Simon will be so pissed off by that he will truly DEVOTE himself to killing her, morals be damned. It’s like the final straw that broke the camel’s back. I could see Simon do some crazy shit after being pushed by the Oracle over and over and over again. The Warlords reign just says its House Magnos vs the world, and Simon will oppose Illusea since they refuse to cooperate. SPOILER must die, assuming it’s the Oracle, may be something pretty extreme, more than just opposition.

Alchem

Guys, please don’t vote for Simon to try to get vengeance now after getting pretty much no diff’d by the Oracle and Asterion the last 2 reigns. Void has been giving us tons of hints to train, from the Adventurer to the solid last two fights against the Archer and ruin guy. We have seen the immediate benefits of his improvement in battle tactics just from the Adventurer’s pointers this arc. It took Elios arriving last reign, who we know has a level at least in the 90s, to save Simon and fight the Oracle on even ground. We need Simon to train up!

Lorevi Q

House Magnos vs the world!!!

FootlessBird

Land of the warlords is just the better option. Mastemo's angels can come afterwards.

general Grievous

Def feels at least to me like warlord Simon would fit the best

TDMC

As long as that doesn’t turn into sister-daughter-wife

Niloc

Finally getting Lauriane development after she's been the most ignored sibling despite Simon nominally trusting her most, or keep her underdeveloped and ignored? I know what I'm voting for.

Max Chelios

I am a MILF lover, but given how the story arcs are progressing, Land of Warlords is the best choice. I'm sorry, Euphemia and Remedia. Maybe, and hopefully, next time I'll choose a reign for one of you instead.

BrandyLeeT

Warlords seems like the quickest way to gain Overlord Levels tho

Massgamer

Want Five Sovereigns for World Tour and Simon spending time with close friends just doing adventurer thing, he needs something nice after end of world.

Alchem

Levels aren’t really a problem right now. As the Adventurer said, making the most of your abilities matters as much as leveling up. If you keep getting shiny new toys, you start to ignore your old ones. Constraints lead to innovation. Simon needs to focus on what he has and breaking the mould rather than rely on new perk abilities. Min max Simon has tons of tools he hasn’t mastered yet and is beating Zodiac fiends. If he masters them, he will be unstoppable. Quick leveling was even a concern the party had with quick leveling Alphonse. It was a concern for a reason, but circumstances necessitated they do so.

cobwebby

I think the Five Sovereigns is the most practical because Simon already has an insane amount of tools in his arsenal that he just doesn't know how to chain together & properly use. Battle tactics are far more important than overloading him with even more, and he would be able to devote most his time to the practice this way.

Sarvashaktimaan

I think the five sovereigns reign will work much better when Simon is level 80+

jaynic

No way we get Euphemia milf romance with warlord route in one poll. Ik it won’t win but please have it as an option in a next poll

Sami

Dassein is a pretty decent sibling too despite being a manticore fucker

Jasus

While I would like Lux Vult 2.0 it is too soon since the last one.

Mark Jolley

Sadly, I don't think patreon has ranked choice voting. You may have to swap your vote

Trathnonen

Definitely the techniques part. He needs to spend some time with the Monk and figure out how to stop getting beat up by Lewis, even if Lewis was kind of right about the Elves. Besides, if Kingdom Come Deliverance taught me anything, it's that a true warrior needs a master strike.

Jannik

I feel that Land of Warlords fits best following the betrayal of the Oracle, but Simon should really start working on his spells soon considering that he is leaning heavily on magic in his battles.

Algor

Let the guy train AF to severely outclass all the damn traitors

Will Iam

Fffffffxxxxxx. I never had doubts when picking, always had a clear first and a maybe this as second. Can't pick any of the 4 as they are all good. Lets go with 5 sovereings only for the spoiler unlock

John goode

I’m going to be honest I love 3 of theses and still like the 4th only cow man you can write a good story. I want to see arch mage the most then warlord overlord and 3rd is a redo of marrying the old queen

Volkhorn

Land of Warlords be like: Louis, it's time to *cocks mace* take out the trash

Star Chess

In my opinion the Warlords reign is what Simon needs right now. Proper training ark with the current best warmonger party that will help simon almost in all directions (weapon techniques, commanding army, battle templates, and some lvls from all that carnage), proper elves reconnaissance that will help him to understand real elves threat and on what he need to work to neutralize it. Because of all of the above, I think that this reign is mandatory before other training or exploration reings and will serve Simon as a base to expand on. And overral it flows the best storywise after Oracle showed him that he would need to deal with elves one way or another.

Neo

I’m sorry?? The shotgun of terror????? How could anyone vote for anything but 5 sovereigns. I do also understand the appeal of warlords, but I feel Simon is gonna need a better understanding of the world as a whole if he is effectively going to manipulate events on a larger scale.

Szoppa

Simon the Vampire has to show up eventually too.

mibrainisdead

I really want a Remedia revisit, but Simon needs to shore up his lacking battle instincts. I'm curious to see what Louis's endgame is and I NEED to see Illusea burn.

RedZingyHedgehog

I mean, Lux Vult was relatively recent. If anything Remedia Redux would be the better Milf reign

Alexandre Catala

With Louis and Lauriane by his sides ? And maybe even Elios Magnos if he can catch the Elf unprepared ? Unlikely.

Myrdin

In the Warlords, Simon will probably have to ask Elios for help against the Oracle. She is too strong for the rest of them and Elios hates her, so he may help

Neko

Archmage. Not for Remedia but for Libromancy I REALLY feel like that and the overlords chronicles will let him inform others of the reigns without actually verbally saying it. Dunno what makes sense narratively, but I can’t wait till he unlocks that particular magic ever since it was teased.

granndfunk

I actually want Void to do the Vampire reign as a surprise without letting us vote for it.

Chris

Boo

Andrew Lechner

Let Simon lead from the front and die before going on a training arc.

Milo Muschlin

I will always marvel at the fact that this community manages to decide as a unit on the option that I find the least interesting in these votings (I know that’s a me issue)

alejandrox

@pandelion Unfortunately, the reign of the MILFs didn't gain enough traction.... SAD T.T The cult of the MILFs will have its compensation with the blood of the elves.

Gabriel Soares

Mastemo's Angels looks cool. But I have been wanting Land of Warlords for so long now I'm voting for it!

alejandrox

Relax, bro, there's always a next time! XD

Max Chelios

Lol, for sure, for sure. Thanks, man.

Revitika

I REALLY want mastermos angels but I think that arc should be after a training arc even though I know it will be its own I just think the events of something like the 5 sovereign will be more beneficial right before that but I’d love to see mastermos angels sometime soon after because that feels like a step in the direction of what his end game could look like can’t wait to see the cult that will rise up also bonus point if the paladin somehow becomes the vice leader of the cult idk the idea of that tickles me

Dazerg

And not just Belzemine. Any elf is :D MILFs are destined to fade, but elves will thrive for eternity!

Asinitez MC

I think a good exploration reign would be best. Also is just different, Simon’s been doing a lot of fog thing and conquering recently so a world building reign would be a nice change of pace (also the most training arc vibes by far). 5 sovereigns for me.

ConstanTeen

Please make him farm noble class levels, it's long overdue. In warlord route he has ways to borrow multiple noble classes from his family and retainers, getting those to level 50 would only take hours, at most days, with how strong he already is and ability to enslave enemies at level 50-60. One noble class at level 50=25 levels worth of stats. He won't be getting much of those from Overlord, unless you add exponential stat growth at higher levels.

Primo

Still wonder why simon hasn't abused the merchant creston summon eidolon ability while he is at the head of the empire to use his wealth and turn the summon into a high level dark eidolon like he could get a level 90+ eidolon i expect

Randoudo

He did try...you should reread that part, Void explained how much he could spend, and why he can't transform him to a dark one.

ConstanTeen

Indeed, he summoned him at level 70 I think. Price x10 for every ten levels, too much even for an emperor. Though I wonder if Gargauth Hoard could contain enough wealth for level 90...

Pradian

Still wonder why you don't read. Xenophon’s Exclusive Contract with the Merchant Class prevents you from challenging him to an Ordeal. “Frustrating, isn’t it?” Norbelle teased him. “Like a cake you cannot eat.” “Yes, it is annoying,” Simon admitted. Even briefly borrowing Odette’s Crestone hadn’t allowed him to challenge Xenophon, since his contract was with the Merchant Class itself and not its individual users.

Land of the Warlords makes most logical sense... but it's also the most BORING and relatively PREDICTABLE out of all the options. You have yet again more focus on war, slaughter, conflict. And Simon definitely still isn't strong enough to contend with any meaningful enemy and probably won't be even after this run. And yet people are choosing that over MILF relationship *and* running a frickin giga CULT, whaaaaaaaat?! Or heck, I would LOVE to know more about Brimir and have Simon explore the world more thoroughly, just to also get a sense of its scale, its wonder and beauty, its inhabitants. Not to mention, the various unexplored opportunities laid within. The Land of the Warlord voters also seem to focus on the "multiple messy romances". Guys, I'mma keep it a buck here, that's basically code word for several short-term flings that over the long-term will have no meaning whatsoever. It's empty calories! A nothing burger! Remedia and Euphemia have sooo much untapped potential in that regard. Meaningful memories that Simon will carry throughout his campaigns, make him grow as a person

blabidy blab

I definitely feel like 1 and 3 make the most sense here. 1 for how pissed off he is at the oracle (even if a recent revelation makes her less hatable). 3 because he absolutely needs more training and still knows very little about the world at large. He's even explicitly pointed out needing better tactics. Basically 1 is the emotional choice, 3 is the rational one. Simon has shown he can be both.

Will

I really like the premise and rewards of the five sovereigns. However Warlords is overdue and Simon needs to spend some time with his favorite sister Lauriane. Then he can commit war crimes with Louis and crimes against nature with Lauriane.

C. Adkins

I’m voting Warlord BECAUSE he will be learning techniques from the best warrior ever, learn more of the mystery behind Louis, and spend time with his sister who definitely has a ton of currently untapped mystery that Simon hasn’t been able to see due to his biases. Nothing about the multiple romances interests me (at least, to the point of being a reason to vote)

C. Adkins

Right?! Like, i feel so bad voting for Warlords just because of that

SlaveToMyWhims

I only voted Archmage because Remedia is hands-down the best partner, and I'd like to see that relationship develop further. It's not exactly the healthiest relationship, with her husband's situation and all. But, by far the healthiest one. Thought, to be fair, a few others have potential. Anna's is the weakest, from what I've seen. Her promiscuity honestly grosses me out somewhat. Type of girl that ends up your fun ex. Not the kind of woman you'd want to grow old and build with.

Alibhai

Really? Did your vote not coincide with the majority at any time? Honestly that's impressive in its own way.

Alibhai

If she is baited outside of Illusia then grand papi will pop up on his own.

Alibhai

The shotgun of terror is either a completely trashy weapon or the greatest weapon in existence.

GPond

I'm voting Five Sovereigns instead of a MILF path, as Simon really needs to learn to fight properly. Even relatively simple fights get messy.

GPond

I voted Five Sovereigns instead of Land of Warlords because Simon really needs to make his fights less messy. I will be happy with the Warlord path though, as it gives us an insight into the other half of his family that we havent seen much of.

Kosta

I agree that Remedia is the best partner for Simon, she is very strong, knowledgeable and charismatic, but I will never vote for Archmage, because she's married and will cheat on her husband and that's doesn't feel right to me. I mean, yes, their marriage is ruined, but unless there's a divorce, I don't think I'll ever like this ship. Anna is fine, until you remember that she's the daughter of his father's brother, so their relationship is technically incest. Euphemia is... I don't know. Their reign didn't exactly progress after they moved out of their hate for each other. Though, the pseudo incest is kinda bad, but not so much to actually care. With Voivre, I don't even know if their relationship was abusive or not, and I don't want to know. Eole is the only one that I don't have any reservations and expect to him to end up with, but honestly, he'll probably be too burnt to actually enter a relationship in the first place. Yeah, for Simon every relationship is a mess, no wonder people want to go for Land of Warlords.

C. Adkins

Anna’s father is no longer Balzam’s brother. Void changed it to have less incest. Now the Commander is just a “blood brother.” The closest person to Balzam

SuchBadness

I voted the five sovereigns. I've been looking forward to the land of warlords for awhile but I feel he needs more levels and trump cards to pull that off.

A K

All of these are good choices. I want land of the warlords first since we’ve been pushing that off, but I’d be ok with any of them.

A K

I’ll also say I think the 5 sovereigns arc is the most promising and sounds like it would be the most rewarding, just can’t decide if it should be before or after the warlords arc.

A K

On second thought, get warlords out the way so that all options are open to follow if you immediately follow warlords up with the 5 sovereigns. He can repeat whichever arc makes the most sense after all the self work

Joey Wang

We lost vampire Simon 😭

ConstanTeen

I don't think Void changed anything, they never were real brothers, that guy is just too obsessed with the incest. There's like zero blood shared between Simon and Euphemia, either.

SlaveToMyWhims

I don't remember them being actual brothers either. I understood that it was brotherhood in arms sort-of-thing. My problem with Anna is that she's been described as very promiscuous. I don't mind that in passing flings. But I really dislike it in partners. Back when Simon was to marry Anna, Void tried to make her sound principled. Perhaps to make her more appealing to my kind of people. She essentially told Simon: "Once we are married, no more including other people and shopping around, one man, one woman". Which is nice and all. Buuut... that didn't help her case much. Past counts.

Snooze Bear

Warlords is too good to not take, but a lot of these reigns has to happen! Pretty sure we will get a five eidolon reign, as they haven’t been given their focus yet, but another crack at Simon and Remedia also needs to happen.
