This iceberg hits close to my heart because when I was in the Army, I was stationed in South Korea and saw with my own eyes how North Koreans treat their people as well as outsiders. I don't think there are many countries in the world as horrible as NK. I don't know if this is true, but I heard that they executed 30 middle school children for listening and watching K-pop. I don't know what has to go wrong in development to make people think that that's the way that human life should be treated. But even South Koreans treat some of their citizens horribly. It just depends on what part of the country you're in or which class you fall under. I used to look at the world with such hope and promise, but now I weep for humanity, and pray for an early death. I'm sorry that this one took so much out of you Klaus. I feel ya!

Having been stationed there yourself gives your perspective a weight research can't reach, especially the point that treatment depends on class and region, which most coverage skips. Klaus put a lot into this one, and hearing from someone who saw it up close will mean something to him. Take care of yourself! the world still has people in it worth staying for.
