I’ve read Bleach- it’s about a man who becomes a soul reaper- a supernatural being who sends souls to heaven. So creepy that someone used it to kill someone.

The movies about the tsunami seem so tragically beautiful

I remember the first time I saw Ruroni Kenshin was in Mexico on Cartoon Network, because they had a completely different lineup there. So good

Abyssal Detective

That's the part that gets people. Bleach is fundamentally about easing souls onward, and someone inverted the entire premise of it. The gap between what the story is and what it got used to justify is exactly why this one sits where it does on the iceberg

Abyssal Detective

The Latin America lineup was genuinely its own universe. A lot of people got their first Kenshin exposure through a broadcast slot that never existed anywhere else. Love that you caught it that way

Exactly. Ichigo doesn’t even want to be a soul reaper at first until he realizes that he’s releasing tortured souls into the afterlife. To use that to justify murder is just so creepy. Perfect place in the iceberg
