It's incredibly important for birds that come from a bad environment, have feather destructive behaviors and have previously been on an unhealthy diet get LOTS of opportunities to bathe. I have added aloe to Sunny's misting bath bottle for extra hydration to his skin and feathers.

How do you guys like seeing these "behind the scenes" episodes? This is new for me to offer so wondering how you guys see it. Obviously in the main episodes you see Sunny taking a bath but seeing how we got there - is that helpful? Where it actually started? Curious for your feedback as usual!

I love the behind the scenes. It definitely makes me feel more connected , more a part of it than the general public. Plus it’s very educational.

The behind the scenes like this one helps me continue to learn about bird behavior. I am wanting to learn more about their behavior and don't know where else is a good source to learn. After finding Birdtricks I can easily see how the material I was trying to learn from before was completely wrong. Thank you for sharing with us!

65 degrees, I could only wish. Only 105 here.

Thanks again for sharing. There are several pointers I’m going to try with my little ones. It’s amazing how even little bits of information from you can be so helpful to me and I’m sure others.

Loving the BTS 🎥 with Sunny!! ❤️❤️🦜🦜

Fabfemme

Loving these scenes. Please continue! How much Aloe do you put in the water you bath them with? Is it just Aloe Vera gel?

Kathy Surber

I love 💖 "behind the scenes" with this beautiful guy. Plus I am working with Fred to get him to like showers & bathing. Right now he tolerates it, but he's not happy about it. So we're going slow for now. BTW, we don't even get down to 65 degree at night. We reached 105 today too. 😢 Stay healthy and safe. 😃

Diane

I loved this video! He seems like such a sweet bird and I can't wait until you bring out his personality more. 🦜❤

Y’all are doing a terrific job! And YES behind the scenes is wonderful! I was actually working on bathing today with my re-homed 16 year old Severe Macaw today... she’s NEVER had a bath.... baby steps! This video really helped! Thanks Jaime!!

I love them. If I’m learning how to interpret my bird’s communication with me, it can only lead to a better life for my baby Cocoa 🦜.

Yes! I love all videos. I have recently taken on my Grandma's 40 year old Amazon that has so many bad habits. I am literally soaking up any bit of advice that I can from you. So much to learn. Thank you for all you do.

Amanda Caldwell

Yes! The 'how you got there' is super important and helpful!

Jennifer Perez

Yes how you get there is super helpful. As a trainer, it may seem obvious to you, but can be complicated for others. So thank you! :)

Janell Baker

Love these! They are so so helpful 🖤

Elizabeth Rowe

Very helpful! You see and point out behaviors I otherwise may overlook.

Teresa Kernodle

Very helpful! Thank you for sharing!! What is the Aloe you use? I have a grey who is feather destructive her previous owners never offered a bath (unbelievable I know... 16 YEARS! poor baby!) and we are making strides but a ways to go yet!

Nancy Huffman

Poor Sunny’s feathers. It’s going to be so fabulous when he looks like Jinx. What is the ratio of aloe to water you us?

Whitney Riley

Yes, the “how we got there” videos are my favorite!

BirdTricks

I follow the dilution instructions on the bottle usually, and once I get used to that I can then eyeball it after a lot of use.
