woo happy bean~! i love seeing him so comfortable.

Jennifer Percopo

He just seems so sweet and shy! It’s so hard picturing all the bad behaviors he supposedly had prior to coming to you! Seeing how nervous he is, do you think the aggressive behavior was more fear response than actual aggression? Just watching him trying to navigate over the tree for the birdie bread, u just want to scoop him up! And his constant asking for pets? He’s too much!! 💜💜💜

Linton Hutcheson

Bean is doing a lot better. He loves that birdie bread!

Such great work Jamie!! I will drive to Idaho from NC to get that sweet boy!! I just love him!!

Tie a bright pink or yellow ribbon on the guide wires of your batting cage, at about eye level, so people will notice them more easily. An old military trick for tents.

70 degrees, I could only dream of 70 in the summer. Bean has come so far. I would adopt him in a heart beat.

Nancie Rogers

Oh his pets requests just get me.

Our heat index has been around 107 degrees lately. I would love that and could see myself sitting outside with him! He’ll make an amazing bird friend to someone very lucky. I was wondering if the vet thinks he’s suffered any damage from the diet he was on before yours? I love how shy but ready to please he is. Such a good bird! ❤️😍

Janice Hansen

Jamie, you’re just so patient and kind! I too would adopt him in a New York minute, if only one of us were closer! (WI)

I wish Chauko would be that receptive to scratches!!! he likes touch but he needs to feel really stable and comfy to let me touch him so he doesn’t get off balance.

I love what you guys did with the concrete tiling at the bottom! Great job! Also, Bean is doing wonderfully! He's so brave! He's going to be a great companion for someone when you are finished. :) What a lucky boy.

Melissa Patz

I wonder if scritches could be used as positive reinforcement. LOL.

No wonder Bean got adopted by a patron... Never thought I was an African Grey person, but one that's cuddly might be a different story lol.🤩 Cheeky my Goffin cockatoo does that head scratch thing too. She did it even more when I first got her and she didn't know how to step up. She still does it now from time to time. As a physical touch person (with animals at least) I NEED cuddly birds lol. 🥺🥰
