Here's a bit of an update on what we have been working on here at BirdTricks!

Would love to know:

Pre-ordering - Are you into the idea?

Table toppers that attach to your current training stands - Do you want one?

Hoops! - Do you want one?

Are you fan of all the changes (bird toy tags, added Idaho stamp, etc.)?

Anything else you want to see from us this year?

The new tags look so good!! I noticed it right away when I got my last box. I think a website where you can pick individual toys and kind of “build your own box” sounds so cool and I would definitely utilize that. Congrats on the 501c3!! How exciting 😊

I can imagine your non profit logo being a simple clean line art sketch of an amazon, instead of the whole thing being in just one color, color the line art itself in blue fronted amazon colors. I don’t know who can be the artist, but I am thinking some tattoo artists can execute this style well (nobody specific, but you might know a tattoo artist you love that you might be able to hire, who knows- maybe someone in the comments is a creative illustrator that can work or donate a draft sketch for you, I haven’t practiced illustration in A WHILE so my fingertips are to cranky too produce something as clean as I am imagining)

Or maybe you could use one of this new fancy drawing AI apps to work on it, my uncle is talking non stop about these - what a tech nerd!

I would for sure be interested in pre ordering a tabletop but not sure about the hoop as I don't know if I would get much use of it.

I love this update. Yes I want to preorder table and hoop. Love the donations, I think it’ll be cool if you mention who donates at the beginning of project bird vid. Like if Ava needs blood work and it’s $300. “Thank you to blank for the $100 donation and blank for the $200 donation to cover her bloodwork”. I’d usually donate items instead of money because I don’t know where the money goes or if it even goes to the animals. I feel like the logo for project birds should be multiple birds!

I love that we can start picking the toys for out boxes!!!! So excited for you and the non profit!!!

I thought of Storm at first. And then I thought of all of the project birds that have touched our lives and I vote for multiple birds. Could you have rotating boxes that featured different project birds? You could connect them to a season although you wouldn’t have to. I’ve started non-profit organizations in the past. If you’re ever in need of a board member, I’d be willing to serve.

Oh and the stamps on the stands are really cool. I also like your new toy tags, too.

Jamie you crack me up! Could you talk any faster? Lol 😆. When someone opens the dictionary to look up the word entrepreneur, it will have a photo of you and Dave (Capri is catching up)! You guys have so many great ideas. I want to be able to hand pick toys for Roman. The problem with the box was that he would devour a couple of them super fast and then others he wouldn’t play with. It did help to hide treats in the toys he didn’t like but still I was ending up with a big surplus of one or two toys that he didn’t like which was becoming a storage problem as well as it didn’t make sense to buy toys he didn’t like. How far is Sandpoint from CDA? I have escaped for a couple days. So far Bob has only had one dog run away - I think Roman is doing fine though. Congratulations on your first business loan. It’s a great step!

I really love that idea too! I've had people more often than not, NOT want any attention drawn to them so it's always a weird balance for me to know where someone is at with that.

Maybe you can put a note for every donation like “would you like to be shout out during a video or remain anonymous?”

J Matzner

Jamie, thank you for sharing the link so we can make our own toy box! I was looking at the form now and was wondering if you could have more choices under the "dropbox" for the quicklinks. Right now I hav enough of the small quicklinks but I could use more of the large size quicklinks because I often put a few toys together. Also, sometimes with the size of the cagebars, the larger links work better. I wonderful if anyone else would appreciate being able to choose the size of the quicklinks? What about considiering having a few other options such as: -I'd like some small quicklinks -I'd like some large quicklinks -I'd like some small and some large quicklinks I personally wouldn't want a "shout out" of my name and the amount of money I donate. That's just my personal preference. Also, I'd be afraid of people feeling their $10.00 donation doesn't matter when other people were donating a couple of hundred dollars. Every dollar counts and every donation is important. I know you wouldn't want anyone to feel bad for not being able to donate as much as someone else and scare them away from donating at all. Is there a link where we can pre-order the table top? Thank you for all you do!

Woopsie I don’t have instagram anymore but if you’re interested in uploading some of these to YouTube shorts I would be able to see them 🤣 am I missing much?

Thanks for the update. The 501c3 is a great idea. Now that you have the means, have you considered having special toy boxes for supporting project birds ? A portion of the sale would go to the fund. Some people like to support that way rather than giving cash. I envision the logo for the charity having a similar style as the BirdTricks logo. Maybe a silhouette of you holding an Amazon above you like you are lifting it up.
