Such an inspiring story! Thank you! 🥰

This is incredible!🥰 I'm glad you came to realize you don't need to put the birds on a schedule to please us, let them come by it organically. I love Cressi's vocals when she flies its so cute!!

Getting the birds into the training zone goes a long way. I was having trouble getting Oscar into a portable cage I bought to take him outside for sun. Then I remembered how you teach about the birdie bubble and how they will accept some things that are usually unwelcome once they get in the training mode. So I did some recalls and put him back various places. Then I recalled him and set him right into the little cage where a jackpot reward was waiting for him. He didn't even notice me shutting the door. This trick has worked over and over again. Now I only have to recall him once or twice to get him into the cage. I've probably created a routine but it's not a bad one. It's funny that once they really get into training they get so hyper focused on it that they'll do things they would never do otherwise. I think they must have a natural "time to work" zone that motivates them in the wild to forage, build nests, care for their young, etc. Tell Jinx that he and Ava make a striking couple, even if he's still insisting on being a confirmed bachelor. 😍

I can’t wait to see a whole flock of blue throats 😍😍😍

I actually noticed they way Ava was flying and thought you were starting to train her to do boomerangs. But clearly, I was wrong and when you mentioned that she was flying in an arc towards you, it connected with me. Yay for success! Great work!

I’m glad you noticed her vocals, it’s our favorite thing about her and her vocals are indicators about how she’s feeling about flying!

The RAWR made me LOL.

I was thinking about Ava's flight pattern. Could it be a vision thing? Maybe her vision isn't as clear unless she approaches from an angle?

Maybe do a step up or hop to your hand and then put him down in different places. It would be pretty much the same actions.

That's an interesting thought because sometimes in photo she has an eye that looks weird. Although the vet never said anything about it, but I think I may bring it up at her next annual. Or maybe even to the vet who does her beak trims...

I have a folder now called "Make the birds talk" and I upload my videos into there and give it to my editor who makes them talk and it ads such a fun element to the videos I think! I love it so much. Her additions always make me laugh out loud.

Yah that's one of my favorite parts. I specially loved the one of the Galah on its back that says "am not nut job"

How inspiring! I love everything I’m learning from all of you. I have a couple thoughts that I hope can help- 1-masculine and feminine energy sometimes can feel and affect our pets behavior dramatically. Becoming aware of images in our minds eye can make or break a situation. Awareness of what can happen is important but we need to be careful with our energy that we aren’t prejudging a circumstance. I believe that this is why the birds act differently with you vs David.- both being good, like you said to balance the birds training 💜🙏 2- Ava’s flight might be influenced by one side being stronger then the other creating the drifting effect. Perhaps creating an obstacle on the right to retrain a habit and balance muscle structure balance. Also an X-ray of her skeleton confirmation might be helpful 💜
