If you've been following my series on the blue throated macaw Ava who was recently adopted out to my freestyle flyer student Claude, you will definitely want to watch this health update. I finally have ALL the information to share about it and I think it's so important to share information like this in case you encounter something similar.

I am so glade Claude was able to help Ava. Now that we know what was bothering her once she is all healed I think she is going to do even better for her than she already was. That could also explain why you said she was always flying like he was heavy to. Just everything being a little off on the inside.

Agreed! I always felt confused on why her flights didn’t progress and why they looked a little funny. Hopefully she will be able to progress far beyond all that with Claude. 🩵

I believe that was before the surgery actually. I hope to share after footage once it’s been a while for Claude to begin flying again. 🩵
