I wanted to make sure I had some content here for you to look at and since a question I get asked a lot is about posing characters I decided to upload some gesture practice for you to see! Some are made up and some are from reference. my main goal is to get the characters to MOVE. Its a skill I’m constantly trying to improve on.

How long does it usually take you to do one pose?

You've always had great movement in your artwork...where do you find your reference photos?

Usually anywhere from 5 to 15 min. Sketching out a pose doesn’t take much time for me, but cleaning up and actually applying real anatomy takes me a lot longer haha

Thank you! Some of these sketches are referenced from google images, and some I just made up. I sometimes take pictures of my friends too!
