Fluids | Smoke | VR | Interactivity | Improved Models and Renders

Hello. You are witnessing the birth of the next phase in my animations, I am now learning to animate using Blender which is a much more sophisticated animating suite, as you know I have not been able to animate fluids in the past, Blender will allow me to do this and much more, something I've been considering for a year but didn't tip my toes into the water, Blender offers the following improvements over Poser 12:

Simulate Fluids!

Linear Animation (instead of just loops)

Improved models and rendering quality

VR capability and real-time 3D interaction

Enhanced animating features within figures

I am excited about the improved models and overall render quality and fur but I am particularly excited about simulating fluids in scenes, I have set up this scene and simulated a quick preview.

I have a lot of experience with animating with Poser but there's always been room for so much more improvement, Blender has so much more features that I can use to accomplish this.

As well as animating as normal using Poser, I'll also be working with Bender using potential non-commercial models before using the software for professional animations for my animations. I will be posting regular updates while still animating as normal.

I have worked with a fox and wolf model and have so far managed to animate a primitive coupling, and also show the capabilities of the render engine:

I will focus my main goals on the following before moving forward:

Stage 1: Basic animation, loops and linear. Stage 2: Implementing and working with scenes and props Stage 3: Perfecting above techniques, and more practicing Stage 4: Learning fluids and making it work with the scene and props

Stage 5: Physics and real-time animation enhancements Stage 7: VR capability and real-time interaction playback

Just a handful of models I will be interested in:

This is a huge step and will take a little time for me to perfect the application, I would grateful if you could continue your support during my transition phase and if you are familiar with animating within the application, would consider working with me or if you know anyone who is willing to help me also with using the application with my style of content (NSFW) I would very much appreciate if you could get in touch. Thank you! <3

If you are unfamiliar with Blender I have included the Wiki page:

Also thank you for your patience with the Dragon x Stallion threesome. I will post an update soon, I have a couple more scenes to do before completion it has to be my second biggest project to date. For regular daily updates on my animations please feel free to join my new Discord server.

Ponlets

those models are fantastic :D just wish i could afford them lol

Lamite

Wow, those new models are amazing!

Ponlets

also i think that if you wanted vr things with high detail Unreal engine 5 should be able to do all the smoke and physics you would want :)

Bloudin Ruo

I think you're making the right choice, and that you're going to crush it! :D

TobiTheCrafter1

Right Time ... right choice ;) ... Mow have fun learning and doing your stuff Always support u <3

trioami

thanks, it will be a while but i want to have them all within 5 months x

trioami

thanks yes they are :) and the fur is incredible. ive yet to see the interactivity part I can't wait for that

trioami

Oh my... I .. Umm, is that a plug-in for blender? I thought blender had its own effects? I'd love love love your advice on this stuff x

trioami

Aw thank you, I hope so. I must admit I feel kind of weird tho, moving into something new and changing my way of doing things, I hope it works out it's a big commitment i've been putting this off for over a year but now i've started I've set the ball rolling and so far it's not as scary as I thought. The animating and setting up the character poses are more difficult than Poser and more tedious, but I guess the new animations and features should be worth the battle <3 xx

trioami

Aww wow thank you :). I hope it's as fun as Poser 12, it seems a lot more work in Blender to set up characters and poses but I hope I get the hand of it <33 xx

Bloudin Ruo

The power and versatility you're going to get out of Blender is order of magnitudes higher than Poser. It's complex, a steep learning curve and very different than what you're used to, but when you learn it, you're going to be able to do insane work :)

trioami

@Bloudin Ruo Thank you, I hope so. It seems like a steep learning curve so far, but it looks relatively easy and yas Poser seems to be made to be easy, and blender seems to dump you in the deep end. It took me 7 years to get the full potential out of Poser, it's a shame I will have to leave all that now but the new possibilities Blender offers are amazing and out of this world. It's a big step I have to take, it's the right step and as Pups said I think it's the right time now I've given the chance to exhaust the full potential of Poser. It's the next chapter of trioami and I hope it turns out to be the right one :) thank you also for your support <33 xx

GreenDreamer

Yes, yes, YES!! I knew you were quickly growing to the next step, and I’m SO excited for you! I don’t know anything about it, but keep looking for help and you’ll become an expert in no time.

trioami

Hi GreenDreamer, Aw thank you for believing :). I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared in a way, most animators dive straight into the high-end professional products like Maya and Blender. I knew the potential of animating with Blender and had extensive experience using the animating features within in thanks to my current application, but Blender seems to make it a little more hands-on and much more manual control. I had no issues animating the wolf and fox in this post, with exception to clamping the peen to the wolf. I had issues with that. The characters are set up to work with animation already, unlike most of the characters in Poser, so it makes it difficult to set up the poses but makes it much easier to animate. I really hope I get the hang of it <33 xoxo

QuantumAge

Think most animators use Blender these days so it's a good choice I guess. I personally look foward to it, keep up your good work.

BadAnimal

Unreal Engine is a game platform like Unity used for soo many 3d and VR games. Blender has some VR features of its own now, though I don't know how advanced these are by comparison. A lot of game devs use blender to animate their characters then import these into game engines to create game and VR interactive environments. From what I've read, blenders VR features are more about visualisations/walk-throughs. If these can be exported into standalone videos it maybe this is all you need. Otherwise a game engine with simple physics would do nicely, though licenses may be an issue.
