Winter Storm Safety Advice (Patreon)

We hope everyone is able to stay as warm as you are able during this winter storm.

Remember to plug your heaters into a wall outlet, NOT an extension cord or power strip. Firefighters have stated this is a high cause of wintertime house fires.

Turn the faucet ON just enough that water drips or flows in a thin, steady stream to prevent water from freezing in the pipes.

If you have spare plastic wrap and tape, clean and dry the window frame, stretch plastic wrap tightly over the inside of the window, and tape all edges airtight to reduce drafts and heat loss.
