It's finally done!!! This was a rather turbulent production process, that's for sure. Simply put; a series of small oversights accumulated into an avalanche of errors that persistently prevented this render from being completed on time. Most of these errors occurred after I had completed my rendering/editing, and were only noticeable once fully rendered and I could preview them in real time, leading to this project having to be re-rendered and edited four times. This, as you may be able to discern, affected the final product negatively. For reasons both big and small, this project is not one I am proud of.

What's wrong with this post

The pacing is too quick, most notably for the intro and outro portions. There is almost no time to read the text boxes

There is no pause once Sylvie finishes, and we don't get a moment to catch up or breathe

The X-Ray did not turn out how I wanted, and is not nearly as intimate or intense as I wanted it to be

What's right with this post/What will be done in the future

With the X-Ray not being what I wanted it to be, I had to look for alternative ways to get the job done. I believe I have found a method to both increase the quality and the effectiveness of the X-Ray, and it will be implemented in the future

Compartmentalization was something this project needed dearly. Because of the cyclical nature of the errors, it led to the entire project becoming FUBAR, which therefore elicited more errors and therefore more frustration and delays. With this now known, more clear mission statements and file structures will be implemented so this problem is never encountered again

What does this mean for the post on the 1st? I've made a decision about what it will be, and I believe it is a fair compromise. It is a smaller project, but one that will be very virile and intimate and won't sacrifice project length, animation quality, or story buildup. You can expect a status update regarding this post and some more context somewhere around the 23rd or the 25th once animation has officially started

Once again, I must profusely apologize for this particular post. It should not have ended up this way, and all of the things that went wrong are and will be prevented. I want to be consistent for you people, such is stated in my bio. I have many new ideas for the next big post, and I believe it will be much worth the wait.
