Chapter 60 (Patreon)

It had been a week since they arrived at the border of the Land of Lightning.
During that week, Yujiro had already destroyed nearly twenty camps.
And the name Ittō Shura had spread completely.
Even the major powers across the shinobi world had learned about Konoha’s recent situation.
They knew that Konoha had produced an extremely dangerous genius.
Yujiro.
Yujiro defeating the Three-Tails was no longer a secret to the higher-ups of the major nations.
Because of that, the leaders of several great villages had begun to feel uneasy.
They were afraid Yujiro would continue growing until he became a threat to their own villages.
In a mountain range near the border of the Land of Lightning, a blonde-haired girl and several Kumogakure shinobi were moving quickly through the terrain.
“Hey, is there really a need to rush this much?” Yugito Nii said loudly as she leapt from rock to rock. “Is this Yujiro really as strong as you’re making him sound?”
“Yugito-sama, please don’t underestimate that shinobi,” one of the Kumo shinobi replied with a grim expression. “In just one week, nearly two hundred of our men have died by his hand.”
Yugito clicked her tongue, but she did not slow down.
A few seconds after they disappeared, a dark figure slowly emerged from the ground where they had passed.
He wore black clothing, with a black blade resting diagonally across his shoulder.
Yujiro grinned.
He hadn’t expected Kumogakure to go this far.
So they really were determined to kill him.
Unfortunately for them…
He was no longer the same as before.
With a burst of strength beneath his feet, Yujiro shot forward and chased after them.
Far behind him, Kakashi and Itachi stood silently on top of a large tree.
“Kakashi-san,” Itachi said, his face filled with concern. “Will Yujiro-san be all right? That chakra… it belongs to a jinchūriki.”
“The Three-Tails wasn’t sealed inside a host,” Kakashi replied, shrugging helplessly.
Five minutes earlier, Yujiro had suddenly stopped and told them to wait there.
He had sensed an enormous chakra signature ahead.
From the feel of it, it was most likely a jinchūriki.
“Yujiro-san’s strength is growing too quickly,” Itachi said, admiration flickering in his eyes.
“Yeah,” Kakashi replied, his gaze carrying the same feeling.
As Yujiro’s friend, Kakashi was glad to see his strength rising so fast.
But for the shinobi who stood against him, and for the villages that saw him as an enemy, that growth was terrifying.
Because right now, Yujiro’s strength was already no weaker than the Three-Tails.
Within the mountain range, the Two-Tails’ jinchūriki suddenly shouted.
“Everyone, stop!”
The Kumogakure shinobi behind her halted at once, their nerves tightening.
It couldn’t be this unlucky.
They had only just reached the border.
At the end of the mountain path, a young man stood there quietly.
A breeze passed through the mountains, causing his black clothes to flutter slightly.
“Yujiro…” Yugito muttered, her expression turning serious.
“Ittō Shura…” one of the Kumo jōnin behind her said, his voice trembling. “It’s Ittō Shura!”
The corner of Yujiro’s mouth lifted slightly.
“Ittō Shura, huh…”
He did not care much about the title.
Slowly, Yujiro raised his right hand above his head.
“You should already know,” he said calmly. “The sword is only one of my ways to kill.”
Then he swung his right hand down.
“Scatter!” Yugito’s pupils shrank, and she shouted without hesitation.
But in the next instant, Yujiro’s indifferent voice echoed across the mountains.
“Thunder Dragon Worldbreaker.”
The sky split with a violent roar.
A massive thunder dragon surged down from above, its body twisting through the clouds as lightning tore through the air.
The thunder dragon roared and crashed toward the Kumogakure shinobi below.
Boom!
The mountains shook.
Lightning exploded across the ground, swallowing the area in blinding light.
Yujiro looked at the destruction with satisfaction.
It was far stronger than Sasuke’s Kirin.
At a rough estimate, it was another peak S-rank ninjutsu.
Thinking of that, Yujiro’s eyes grew faintly heated.
He had only unlocked the third stage of the Limiter.
What would happen if he reached the fourth stage?
Just imagining it made him look forward to it.
Below, most of the Kumogakure shinobi had either been killed or severely injured.
After all, very few shinobi could withstand a ninjutsu of that scale.
Those who had survived had only managed it because they were also Lightning Release users.
“You really are strong,” Yugito said.
Her clothes were already torn, and her expression had turned ugly.
She was the Two-Tails’ jinchūriki.
And yet, she had been pushed this far from the very first exchange.
That was not something her pride could accept.
“I’ve heard that too many times already,” Yujiro said casually. “The people who said it all ended the same way.”
Yugito narrowed her eyes.
“Don’t get too full of yourself.”
“That depends on whether you can stop me.”
Yujiro raised his right hand again.
“Great Flame Emperor.”
A massive high-temperature fireball condensed above his palm, burning so fiercely that the surrounding air distorted.
Then he threw it straight at Yugito.
The moment Yugito saw the enormous fireball descending toward her, she did not hesitate for even a second.
“Full Tailed Beast Transformation!”
Blue chakra erupted from her body.
In an instant, Yugito transformed completely into the Two-Tails, Matatabi.
The giant blue-flamed beast raised its body and forcefully endured Yujiro’s attack.
Flames and heat exploded outward.
Yujiro narrowed his eyes as he looked at the fully transformed Two-Tails.
So she could transform completely.
Yujiro gripped the hilt of his blade and instantly entered the third stage of the Limiter.
“Ittō Shura.”
In the next instant, his figure vanished without a trace.
When he appeared again, he was already at the Two-Tails’ right side.
Dark sword energy surged around Yujiro’s body.
It was the result of his energy being released outward. With the black blade in his hand, his attack power was doubled.
A black crescent-shaped slash struck fiercely against the Two-Tails’ claw.
Matatabi let out a sharp cry of pain.
Immediately after, it swung its claws, sending violent gusts of wind tearing through the trees.
But Yujiro’s current speed was too fast.
So fast that even the Two-Tails could not catch his figure.
Dark sword light flashed from every direction.
Matatabi could only defend.
There was no room to counterattack.
This battle was suffocating for the Two-Tails.
It could not see him.
It could not hit him.
And it could not simply fire a Tailed Beast Bomb without knowing where Yujiro was.
Yujiro stood quietly on a large tree and narrowed his eyes as he watched Matatabi.
His current attack power was already extremely high.
But if he wanted to completely subdue the Two-Tails, he still needed sealing techniques.
Yujiro had already made up his mind.
After returning to Konoha, he would learn every ninjutsu he could currently access.
Even forbidden techniques.
Otherwise, running into situations like this would become troublesome.
“Bee!” Matatabi suddenly raised its head and roared. “How long are you planning to watch?! If you don’t move, I’m really going to die here!”
Yujiro smiled faintly.
Just as he expected.
The Eight-Tails was here too.
