Chapter 103 (Patreon)

The Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill Event.
As for why the students from Kyoto Jujutsu High were all willing to kill Yuji Itadori…
In their eyes, Sukuna’s vessel was a terrifying existence. A monster who could kill without hesitation if left unchecked.
“Yuji!” Junpei Yoshino shouted. “Are you okay?”
Yuji wiped the dust from his cheek and grinned back.
“Yeah. I’m fine. No problem at all.”
Since the Kyoto students had come with the intent to kill Yuji, the Tokyo students had no reason to hold back either.
The clash between both sides grew fiercer by the second. Neither team showed any sign of backing down.
By the time Satoru Gojo and Ragnar Kagenou returned to the observation room, several of the talismans had already burned to ash in flames of blue and red.
——————
On Rika Orimoto’s side, she suddenly sensed the presence of a Grade 1 cursed spirit entering the area.
During the Goodwill Event, there were only supposed to be three Grade 1 cursed spirits acting as boss targets.
Which meant this fourth one was clearly not part of the plan.
“There.”
Rika’s gaze shifted toward the forest.
A cursed spirit with severed limbs came crawling out from between the bushes, dragging its ruined body across the ground.
Rika looked down at it coldly.
“So, just like Ragnar-san said… some people really don’t know their place.”
Just as she was about to finish the cursed spirit off, its head was suddenly crushed beneath someone’s foot.
Rika’s eyes narrowed.
“You are…”
From the darkness of the forest, a red-skinned cursed spirit slowly stepped out. Its body was humanoid, but its head resembled that of an octopus.
“Dagon,” the cursed spirit answered. “What you humans would call a special grade cursed spirit.”
“I see.”
Rika’s expression did not change.
“At last, someone with a little strength.”
A shikigami manifested behind her.
In the next instant, an invisible pressure fell over Dagon like a hand closing around his heart.
Dagon froze.
“Impossible… A mere human is making me feel this?”
His eyes locked onto the shikigami behind Rika.
As a cursed spirit, he could feel it clearly.
In terms of existence itself, he was being suppressed.
Completely.
At the same time, Mahito and the curse user wearing a black apron—Juzo Kumiya—had already entered Tokyo Jujutsu High.
Mahito looked toward the Tombs of the Star Corridor.
“Well then, time for us to get to work too.”
Juzo Kumiya stood with his hands behind his back, muttering to himself.
“Satoru Gojo is about one hundred and ninety centimeters tall, right? Hm… He’d probably make an excellent coat rack.”
He grinned.
“I could make a pretty good coat rack out of him.”
Mahito glanced at him from the side.
What an idiot.
A curse user who did not even understand Satoru Gojo’s strength was nothing but a fool.
But that was fine.
The more fools like this there were, the more time they could buy.
Mahito turned to Juzo and said, “After I leave, raise the Curtain.”
Juzo picked up his axe and rested it on his shoulder.
A thunderous sound echoed from somewhere in the distance.
“They’re making quite a racket,” Juzo said with a crooked smile. “But once a cursed spirit dies, there’s nothing left, is there?”
Mahito ignored him and headed toward the Tombs of the Star Corridor.
Juzo remained where he was.
“Well, nothing else to do, right?”
He swung his axe down, hammering the “nails” into the ground one after another.
Then he began to chant.
“Emerge from darkness, blacker than darkness. Purify that which is impure.”
A pool of pitch-black liquid appeared high in the sky.
It spread outward, slowly covering the area in all directions.
“Ooh… not bad.”
Juzo’s smile twisted wider.
“I’m really looking forward to my new coat rack.”

Observation Room.
The talismans representing the exorcised cursed spirits began to burn all at once.
Other than Satoru Gojo and Ragnar Kagenou, everyone present showed surprise.
Iori Utahime stared at the cursed spirit markers on the wall.
“The group battle is over? And all of them were exorcised by the Tokyo team?”
Mei Mei looked at the screen in front of her.
“How strange. My crows didn’t capture any footage.”
Masamichi Yaga frowned.
“Unregistered cursed energy will also cause red flames to burn.”
Utahime’s expression sharpened.
“You’re saying someone has infiltrated the school?”
Mei Mei tilted her head slightly.
“Could Master Tengen’s barrier not be functioning?”
Yoshinobu Gakuganji’s face darkened.
“Whether they came from outside or were already inside, this is an unexpected situation…”
Then his eyes shifted.
He noticed the faint smile tugging at the corner of Satoru Gojo’s mouth.
Beside him, Ragnar Kagenou looked as though he were simply watching a play unfold.
At that moment, Gakuganji realized something.
These two were not surprised at all.
What was going on?
Were the intruders part of their plan?
The thought crossed his mind, but he could not voice it so openly.
At the very least, he needed to understand the situation first.
Masamichi Yaga spoke in a firm voice.
“I’ll go to Master Tengen’s side. Satoru, protect Principal Gakuganji and the students.”
He looked toward Mei Mei next.
“Mei, stay here and confirm the students’ positions. Report the situation to Satoru.”
Mei Mei smiled.
“I’ll be looking forward to my compensation.”
“As for Ragnar…”
Yaga paused for a moment.
“You stay here too. If an emergency happens, you can support everyone at any time.”
Ragnar Kagenou glanced at him.
“How leisurely.”
Yaga’s expression did not change, but inwardly he sighed.
That’s because I’m afraid you’ll use the chaos as an excuse to kill Yoshinobu Gakuganji.
Gojo clapped his hands together lightly and turned toward Gakuganji.
“All right, old man. Time for a walk.”
Gakuganji ignored him completely.
Utahime, on the other hand, kept urging Gojo to hurry up and move.
After everyone else left, only Ragnar Kagenou and Mei Mei remained in the observation room.
Mei Mei looked at Ragnar with visible interest.
“Ragnar Kagenou… I’m quite interested in you.”
Ragnar met her gaze.
“Mei Mei, right? That name sounds fake the moment you hear it.”
Mei Mei smiled without the slightest change in expression.
“You’re rather sharp. But whether a name is real or fake doesn’t really matter.”
Her tone remained calm and pleasant.
“A name is only a label. A title. Even if I lose it, I am still me, and you are still you. Isn’t that right?”
“If you have something to say, say it,” Ragnar replied. “I don’t like wasting time with people.”
“How unromantic.”
Mei Mei’s smile deepened.
“I heard you possess an immense amount of wealth. Was it you who paid in gold to rebuild Jujutsu High after it was destroyed during the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons?”
Ragnar knew immediately that this woman had approached him because of money.
After all, Mei Mei was a pure miser.
Even now, no one knew exactly how much wealth she had saved up.
But no matter how much she had accumulated, her assets could not compare to Ragnar Kagenou’s.
Through the Gate of Babylon, Noble Phantasms, gold, and other rare metals were constantly delivered into his possession.
The difference between their wealth was like comparing the Milky Way to a small pond.
It was not even on the same scale.
Mei Mei finally said, “Would you be interested in investing in my company?”
“Investing in a company?”
Ragnar answered without hesitation.
“Not interested.”
“Don’t be so quick to refuse,” Mei Mei said. “This isn’t an ordinary company. It can provide you with all kinds of convenient services anywhere in the world, at any time.”
“Is that so? What a pity. I don’t have time to go overseas right now.”
Mei Mei laughed softly.
“Just because you can’t use it now doesn’t mean you won’t need it later. Besides, it’s supported here as well.”
Ragnar looked at her for a moment.
“That does sound useful enough. Since we’re alumni of the same school, taking a stake isn’t out of the question.”
Mei Mei extended her hand.
“On behalf of the High Table, I welcome you.”
Ragnar shook her hand.
With that, Ragnar Kagenou’s information was entered into the High Table’s network.
Mei Mei then handed him something that represented his status.
A physical symbol was still necessary.
Though Ragnar himself did not particularly care about it.
