“What?!” Tsunade stared at Yujiro in disbelief.

Who did he think she was?

She was one of Konoha’s Legendary Sannin. Even shinobi from other villages addressed her respectfully as Lady Tsunade.

Yet when she offered to move into his house, Yujiro had actually refused her!

“You seriously have the nerve to turn me down?” Tsunade demanded, her temper flaring.

Yujiro clicked his tongue and looked her up and down before answering with a perfectly serious expression.

“How am I supposed to know what you’re plotting? What if I let you move in and you try to take advantage of me? I’d be the one losing out.”

“Get lost!”

Tsunade looked ready to explode.

“I’m moving in whether you like it or not! Throw me out if you think you can!”

With that, she strode straight into Yujiro’s house without looking back.

Watching her disappear through the doorway, Yujiro muttered, “Women really don’t listen to reason.”

He shook his head and followed her inside.

When Tsunade announced that she intended to stay with them, Kurenai readily agreed.

Before long, the two women were sitting together and whispering among themselves. Every so often, Kurenai’s face would turn bright red.

Yujiro paid them no attention. If Tsunade wanted to move in, she could do as she pleased.

His house had more than enough bedrooms, and each room was spacious. There was no reason to make an issue out of it.

Yujiro settled onto the living room sofa and began examining the Fourth-Level Skill he had recently acquired.

On the other side of the room, Tsunade held Kurenai’s hand and lowered her voice.

“Kurenai, if you keep hesitating, someone else is going to beat you to him.”

“Tsunade-sama, what are you talking about?”

Kurenai immediately understood what she meant, and the blush on her face spread all the way to her ears.

“The reason I’m staying here is to help you make some progress with Yujiro,” Tsunade continued confidently. “Men can be surprisingly oblivious about these things.”

She was working hard for the future prosperity of the Senju clan, after all.

“Tsunade-sama... please stop saying things like that.”

Kurenai looked as though she wanted to hide somewhere.

“There’s nothing to be embarrassed about. We’re both women. You don’t have to pretend in front of me.”

Tsunade smiled knowingly.

Every time Yujiro’s name came up, Kurenai became visibly flustered. As far as Tsunade was concerned, that was proof enough that Kurenai had feelings for him.

As long as she planned things carefully, this matter might be settled sooner than expected.

Just then, a pleasant voice came from the kitchen.

“Kurenai-san, the chicken soup is ready.”

It was Mei Terumi.

A moment later, Mei emerged from the kitchen carrying several dishes, followed closely by Pakura and Yugito Nii.

The instant Tsunade saw the three of them, her eyes lit up.

Of course!

How had she overlooked something so obvious?

Mei, Pakura, and Yugito were all currently serving as maids in Yujiro’s household.

A rather devious plan began taking shape in Tsunade’s mind.

Since Kurenai was too reserved to make a move herself, Tsunade could always begin with the three maids.

She had plenty of ways to push things in the right direction.

Before long, everyone had finished eating.

Although Mei, Pakura, and Yugito were technically Yujiro’s maids, there were very few formal rules inside the house.

The women had grown quite close and generally got along well with one another.

After everything that had happened, their loyalty toward Yujiro was also beyond question.

Once the meal was over, Yujiro glanced at Tsunade. She had fallen into a daze again, occasionally revealing a suspicious smile as she became lost in whatever scheme she was imagining.

“Tsunade, is your hemophobia gone?” Yujiro asked.

His voice pulled her back to reality.

“It’s almost completely gone,” she replied with a faint smile.

Her fear of blood had always been a thorn buried deep in her heart.

It was tied to far too many painful memories.

Yujiro rose from the sofa.

“Since you’re living here now, I suppose I should give you something.”

Tsunade stood as well and looked at him curiously.

“What is it?”

“Something useful.”

Yujiro smiled, raised his right hand, and gently tapped the center of her forehead with one finger.

“Fourth-Level Skill—Gene Repair.”

The moment he activated the skill, a tingling sensation spread from his fingertip and raced through Tsunade’s entire body.

A soft gasp escaped her lips, and her face immediately flushed.

However, before she could complain, she felt the cells throughout her body becoming extraordinarily active.

A powerful vitality surged through her limbs.

Her skin became firmer, and even the lingering effects of her anemia vanished completely.

That was not all.

Tsunade could clearly feel the amount of chakra within her body increasing at a terrifying rate.

Chakra was created by combining the physical energy contained within the body’s cells with spiritual energy. As her cells became younger, stronger, and more energetic, the physical energy available to her increased dramatically.

Naturally, her overall chakra reserves began rising as well.

Tsunade clenched her teeth as the transformation continued.

The sensation was almost overwhelming, yet it also filled her with exhilaration.

Her entire body was becoming younger and more vigorous.

“Haaah...”

The process continued for roughly five minutes before Tsunade finally released a long breath.

By then, sweat covered her entire body.

Even so, the changes she sensed within herself left her completely stunned.

It was as though her body had physically returned to the condition it had been in when she was twenty years old.

Moreover, her strength had increased by at least twofold.

Tsunade raised her head and stared at Yujiro with an unreadable expression.

“Thank you.”

Her gratitude was completely sincere.

As one of the greatest medical-nin in history, Tsunade understood the changes in her body better than anyone else could.

To preserve her youthful appearance, she normally relied on a transformation. The Strength of a Hundred Seal allowed her to store enormous amounts of chakra, but releasing it to use Creation Rebirth accelerated cell division and shortened her natural lifespan.

Yujiro’s ability was entirely different.

Every hidden injury and lingering ailment within her body had disappeared. Her cells had truly regained the vitality of her younger years.

This was not an illusion or a transformation used to hide her age.

It was genuine rejuvenation.

Her body had truly returned to the condition it possessed when she was twenty.

“I never thought I’d hear you thank someone so honestly,” Yujiro said with a teasing smile.

Tsunade pursed her lips before glancing down at herself.

Her clothes were completely soaked with sweat.

“Well... Yujiro, go back to whatever you were doing. I’m going to take a bath.”

Taking a bath after sweating so much should have been perfectly ordinary.

However, after saying it aloud in front of Yujiro, Tsunade suddenly felt strangely self-conscious.

It almost sounded as though she were going to bathe because of something he had done to her.

Without waiting for his response, Tsunade hurriedly left the room.

She also needed some privacy to examine the changes in her body more thoroughly.

Yujiro did not pay much attention to her reaction.

Instead, he had just confirmed something important.

His Fourth-Level Skill, Gene Repair, could genuinely rejuvenate a person.

Strictly speaking, it restored vitality by making the body’s cells younger, healthier, and more energetic.

However, the result was no different from true rejuvenation.

Yujiro had also confirmed another important function.

Gene Repair could compensate for genetic defects.

Although it could not awaken deeply dormant genetic traits that had never manifested, it could repair flaws in genetic abilities that were already present.

Otherwise, Tsunade’s physical strength would never have doubled so dramatically.

As he considered the implications, the corners of Yujiro’s mouth slowly rose.

In that case, the three Mangekyō Sharingan users of the Uchiha clan might be able to repair the damage and deficiencies within their eyes.

They might even be able to evolve their Mangekyō Sharingan into the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan without relying on the usual transplantation method.

If that happened, three pairs of Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan would become an overwhelming addition to Konoha’s highest level of combat power.

Just then, Yujiro sensed three pairs of expectant eyes fixed upon him.

He turned his head.

Mei, Pakura, and Yugito were standing nearby, staring at him with cute, hopeful expressions.
