Konoha had fallen silent.

Throughout the village, everyone had stopped what they were doing. The sight before them was simply too overwhelming.

A colossal Complete Body Susanoo stood motionless upon the training grounds in the hills behind Konoha, towering over the landscape like a warrior from legend.

Every person present had been struck speechless.

Among them, Fugaku and the three other Uchiha were the most shaken. They stared up at the enormous Susanoo, their faces frozen in disbelief.

“Can someone tell me... just what is going on?”

Fugaku felt as though his mind had finally reached its limit. No matter how he tried to make sense of what he had witnessed, he could not accept it.

First, Yujiro was not even a member of the Uchiha clan. Yet he had awakened the Sharingan right in front of some of the clan’s strongest shinobi.

That alone should have been impossible.

But he had not stopped at the Sharingan. He had immediately awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan, followed by the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan—and then, as if all of that were perfectly natural, he had manifested the Complete Body Susanoo.

At this point, Fugaku almost wanted to prostrate himself before Yujiro and ask permission to call him his elder brother.

There had to be a limit to how thoroughly one man could overturn common sense!

Yujiro stood within the crystalline chamber at the Susanoo’s forehead. Looking down at everyone below, the corners of his mouth rose slightly.

So this was how Uchiha Madara must have felt when he looked down upon the world.

Manifesting the Complete Body Susanoo required an immense amount of Chakra and extraordinary ocular power. Once it was fully formed, the Chakra composing the Susanoo stabilized, allowing its true might to emerge.

Yujiro could feel the tremendous energy contained within the towering warrior.

Its power was unquestionable.

With a thought, he dismissed it. The gigantic Susanoo slowly dissolved, its Chakra fading into the air.

At that moment, the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan in Yujiro’s eyes began to change once more.

[Ding! Asura Chakra and Indra Chakra have been detected within the Host.]

[Ding! Evolution of the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan has begun.]

[Ding! Evolution complete! Congratulations to the Host for awakening the Rinnegan.]

[Ding! Congratulations to the Host for acquiring the following abilities:]

[Banshō Ten’in] [Shinra Tensei] [Chibaku Tensei]

[Animal Path · Summoning Jutsu] [Preta Path · Blocking Technique Absorption Seal]

[Human Path · Soul Extraction] [Naraka Path · Summoning: King of Hell]

[Asura Path · Mechanized Armor] [Deva Path · Chō Shinra Tensei]

[Outer Path · Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique] [Summoning Jutsu · Demonic Statue of the Outer Path]

A wave of indescribable comfort spread throughout Yujiro’s body.

Was this the feeling that came with becoming even stronger?

He slowly descended from the sky. His newly awakened Rinnegan shone with a faint purple light as his gaze calmly swept across the gathering.

“The... Rinnegan?!”

Jiraiya had rushed over after sensing the earlier disturbance. The instant he saw Yujiro’s eyes, he stopped dead in his tracks.

“That is really the Rinnegan... one of the Three Great Dōjutsu?!”

A collective gasp swept through the crowd.

Everything they had witnessed today had exceeded the limits of their understanding. Even with the proof standing directly before them, part of them still refused to believe that any of this was real.

“It is only the Rinnegan,” Yujiro said with a casual smile.

The ripple pattern vanished as he deactivated his eyes.

Because Yujiro had awakened the Rinnegan himself, he could activate and deactivate it whenever he wished. After returning his eyes to normal, he loosened his shoulders and stretched slightly.

Truthfully, he had never intended to draw this much attention to himself.

However, with his current strength, remaining inconspicuous was nearly impossible even if he tried.

More importantly, Gene Recombination required its target to be within a certain distance of him. Since his abilities would inevitably be exposed, there was little reason to keep hiding them. It was far simpler to acquire what he wanted openly.

Yujiro saw nothing wrong with that.

He now possessed both the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and the Rinnegan.

Yujiro had also realized something else. The next time he encountered Obito, he would be able to obtain Kamui’s intangibility as well.

With that thought, he tilted his head and looked toward Kakashi, who was standing nearby.

“Kakashi.”

“What is it?”

Kakashi scratched the back of his head and approached, clearly confused.

“Skill Acquisition.”

Yujiro activated the ability without hesitation.

[Ding! Congratulations to the Host for acquiring Mangekyō Sharingan Dōjutsu: Kamui—Long-Range Distortion.]

Yujiro clicked his tongue softly.

As expected, the eye Kakashi possessed only carried Kamui’s long-range spatial distortion—the power to warp a distant target. Kakashi himself would not learn to control it properly until much later.

Still, that Mangekyō Sharingan had originally belonged to Uchiha Obito. Obtaining even its long-range Kamui ability was more than worthwhile.

“There are less than two months left until the Chūnin Exams.”

Yujiro turned and surveyed the crowd before giving them a faint smile.

“Everyone will be busy from this point onward. The major shinobi villages will be sending important figures of their own, and there will be no shortage of schemes taking place behind the scenes.”

“Yes!” everyone answered in unison.

Their respect for the man standing before them had already grown into something close to reverence.

Yujiro laughed softly, took up his black blade, and left the training grounds with an easy stride.

Gene Recombination was capable of far more than merely granting him the Sharingan.

Konoha was home to many clans that possessed secret techniques—and every one of them was a potential target.

“Yujiro’s strength has already gone far beyond anything we can imagine,” Jiraiya said, watching his retreating back as he let out a heavy sigh.

“What would you know?” Tsunade shot him a fierce glare. “Every bit of Yujiro’s strength was earned through his own effort.”

Her hands slowly curled into fists.

“Do you even know that just one week ago, Yujiro... nearly died?”

The memory made her chest tighten. Tsunade did not understand why, but seeing Yujiro in that condition had hurt her more deeply than she could explain.

“What?!”

Minato, Jiraiya, and everyone else immediately turned toward her.

“Yujiro told me not to tell any of you,” Tsunade said, anger seeping into her voice. “But I am going to tell you anyway.”

She then recounted everything that had happened over the past several months.

By the time she finished, the admiration everyone felt for Yujiro had risen even further.

“Jiraiya-sensei, Tsunade-sama... there is something we need to discuss.” Minato’s expression turned solemn.

“What is it?” Tsunade asked.

Minato drew a slow breath. He looked from Jiraiya to Tsunade, then lowered his voice.

“We need to decide... whether Yujiro should become Hokage.”
