And so it begins... Severance!

This show is creey, clever, weird and all round, mesmerising!

I don't even know what to make of it yet, other than... I'm loving it!

Just, brace yourself... that's all I have to say!

Hey kids, whats for dinner? What an episode, there is so much to take in isnt there? I actually never paid much attention to the clocks myself, but it is weird to see that the time was so moving so fast. Also, Marks second watch didnt seem to actually work. And that "dinner" scene at the end, so fricking weird. Who has dinner without eating something? And i cant stand that Ricken guy, he gives me the creeps. Great video Claudie, im already looking forward to the next one!

ClaudieTV

Hehe Irv man... what a guy! And yes, so many small details. There's just such an 'off' vibe this show does so well, where you don't trust anyone! Thank you, really appreciate it! :)

I love going back to shows and rewatching them, so having the full version of your reactions is perfect for that. I recently watched season one again so I could start season two, so it's still fresh in my mind, but already I'm noticing so many little details I missed the first time around. Now that I know the full story, it's a whole different experience. I really enjoy your attention to detail, and you have a real talent for picking up on subtle nuances (which this show has plenty of), so it's genuinely great to watch alongside you. I love the symmetry in the shots and how everything moves so slowly and quietly, but there’s something kind of unsettling about it at the same time. Not sure why, haha.

ClaudieTV

Yeah for me the unedited format is lovely! Thank you so much, I do my best though I do feel I might be looking into things too much hehe, I might end up missing something else!

You did ask if you missed anything and I think you got it all, certainly more than I did the first time I watched hehe. What's the frecuency you are planning for releasing Severance reactions?

ClaudieTV

About 3 a week, ep 2 will be Sunday :)

The first show I am watching for the first time actually in your reaction videos and I am already entirely enthralled by the concept of this show. I love the symmetry, camera angles, eerie scenes, creepy music and silence within dialogue. The most notable shock moment for me was when Helley left the severed floor and walked right back in; my jaw dropped. This show is right up my alley! I also wanted to ask about putting captions on if possible. Thank you for bringing this show to my attention.

Is there like a release schedule you have planned for this show? I hope that didn’t come off too rude, just genuinely curious.

ClaudieTV

Hey, yeah amazing stuff! So so good, and so creepy! The actress who plays Helly is amazing! I actually don't have captions available I'm afraid.

ClaudieTV

All good, someone else asked too, it will be 3 posts a week, at least 48 hours before the YT release too :)

Finally got a chance to watch this first episode, and I was on the edge of my seat most of the time. The thing that struck me was the first thing we hear at the very beginning: “who are you?” I agree with you Claudie, the show feels a bit supernatural and a bit creepy. This show is looking good!

ClaudieTV

It only gets weirder and weirder, and I can't tell you how impressed I am with the acting. It's phenomenal!

I have only known Adam Scott from the show Parks and Recreation, funny political satire show. He is a really good actor. A bit of a “six degree of separation,” we both graduated from the same High School, probably saw each other on campus. Ohayo from Japan!

I can understand your love for the show Sherlock better after seeing the reaction to this episode.

ClaudieTV

yeah they're are alot of similarities

Now I need a car-shaped bed lol

Meri2700

I commented before seeing your reaction lol we thought the same thing about the car-shaped bed X'D

The symetry is on one hand super satisfying, but on the other it really throws me off, I keep thinking that there must be a reason why everything is so symetric.
