Well... it got even weirder somehow. Things are really really REALLY heating up now.

Dylan is beginning to crumble, now he knows he has a son.

Helly is even more desperate to break the rules, and get 'outside'.

And Mark... well... let's just say, he's now involved in something far bigger than he realises.

Half of him, anyway.

Yayy! I'm excited for this one. Everything's getting weirder lol

MAROON

Oh hell yeah I got here I can't wait to see this

Skorm

oh boy, ive been waiting for this episode!

MAROON

Mhhhh the yellow dress

MAROON

I will now forever use these dance gifs

MAROON

The music dance experience is officially cancelled 😔

Vedsång

In the intro, you mentioned: 'I can't remember which version of me is seeing what...' Now, maybe this show is effecting you a bit too much now dear Claudie ;-)

MAROON

The O&D part is fucking heartbreaking

MAROON

I love how upset you are about the Bye bye Burt party because so was I, they're having a fucking party? Eating melon and whatnot but Burt as we know him, Innie!Burt is dead and this is his funeral party and they're celebrating, he's going to die and they say "death does not exist here" my ass. They can't even be openly intimate, they are shaking his hand goodbye and it's so so so so so fucked up, my boy Irving, my dear boy Irving saying "I'm not ready" in the plant room and now... My doomed gays. But all power to fucking Irving because he has been the biggest Lumon ass kisser, he's been the most devoted out of anyone and now he's just full of rage to burn it all down because after everything he's ever given what have they ever done for him? Nothing, nothing at all and he's gonna wanna take it the fuck away from them. My boy Irv 🥰

Justin Pritchard

There seems to be some amount of bleeding of feelings at least between the two. I think this is why Mark acted out in the previous episode to get Ms Casey out of the break room. He doesn't know why, he just felt like he had to help her and taking the team to O&D was the only thing he could do.

MAROON

Mark is such a mess and he's still in so much mourning over his wife, I'm sure this will not keep haunting him :)

MAROON

THE REVEAL!!! YESS I'M SO INSANE ABOUT THIS

MAROON

I lost my fucking shit when I saw this, I knew it , I knew from the moment he started listing random facts about his late wife as he was patching the picture back together, lost it as I realised exactly WHY cobel had been so fucking interested in asking Devon "do you think he still sees his wife sometimes" when cobel stole the fucking candle and when in mark's wellness session she had ms. Casey light the Candle as Mark sculpted the tree that "killed his wife", when mark said "she loved all of these things equally". Everything oh god everything made so much fucking sense I went so insane and I'm so happy to see you go absolutely fucking nuts about it as well this was my favourite fucking episode

MAROON

You locked in and figured it out so hard. You're insane you cooked Claudie

yurintroubl

Think about this - If MDR hadn't decided to go rogue into the hallways that particular day - Bert would've been gone and Irving wouldn't have even known about it until some point way afterward.

MAROON

That is fucking heartbreaking

MAROON

What was it again that has been said in a previous episode by Dylan "Maybe love transcends severance?" Hmm...

Briseph

Keen attention to detail like you have really pays off with this show. Really enjoying watching along! 💙

yurintroubl

Kind of interesting Claudie honing on the "goo sound" moreso that the edges of the ceiling all around the office in that scene starting to goo-like darken but without showing actual goo.

Skorm

Someone getting his skull caved in in the first 5 minutes was also not on my bingo card.

Erin

I was so excited to see your reaction to the Ms.Casey/Gemma reveal! If you notice he starts listing off facts about Gemma, saying he likes each one equally. Like Ms.Casey tells innieMark. And yea things start heating up and I can’t wait until you get to season 2!

Eric

Claudie's outie actually enjoys blood and gore.

Christina Paz

I literally ran to your patreon to see if you had uploaded ep 7 yet! Loved seeing your reaction to the reveal about Ms. Casey! I love how you picked up on the song choices for Burt G.s goodbye and Ms Caseys reveal... genuinely masterfully edited and put together by the Severance editors. Also, I've watched probably 30+ reactors to this show and you're one of my fav because of how much you get into it. Makes me feel like I'm watching it for the first time again.

peteysaw

This show rips your heart out and reinserts it several times an episode. This is probably the tenth time I’ve seen Mark remove his finger revealing Ms. Casey’s face and it’s more emotional each time, not less.

ClaudieTV

Aw thank you so so much! The music is so brilliant!

ClaudieTV

Do they enjoy going grocery shopping too? I could do with a hand on that...?

ClaudieTV

Oh I'm so excited to get to season 2, its torture not watching it yet :)

ClaudieTV

Hhahahaha how many fucking comments did you leave here bud! lol

ClaudieTV

Yes I think the same with the funeral scene and how he felt for Petey. He barely knew him, but felt the grief

richard wilkinson

Great reaction! Irv and Dylan now have been completely radicalized. Or how my wife puts it, "Helly-ized."

Robert Northrop

I'm a bit late to the conversation but I hope you see the tendency in Mark, by now, to lash out, tear or destroy things that force him to confront his grief. He did it with Petey's map which he shredded on the severance floor. And he does it here with Gemma's photo (go back and catch his expression right after he tears the photo - he looks stricken by his own action). Mark has a great capacity for empathy and thoughtfulness, but he's horrible at coping with his own situation and grief - hence the severance.

ClaudieTV

Yes it's amazing how you start to see the blending too of both versions of Mark!

ClaudieTV

Hehe yeah they all have awoken it seems!

Ruby Nieto

Finally watched it and boy I was not ready for it! My head is still spinning 😵‍💫 Instead of “Severance Jazz,” it should be “Severance Jamboree of Shocking Events!” Can’t say it enough Claudie, your skill to see/read clues is incredible. You picked up on maybe severed people also living in the so called real world during the convo between Harmony and Devon (Mark’s sister) - wanting babies but not wanting to give birth, and then we see a finale where there is a possibility of multiple versions of a single person?

Matt Quinn

Grainer is not a nice guy. The face he has when leading people to the break room is not an act.

Matt Quinn

I am completely obsessed with Severance. I got an AppleTV subscription a couple months ago, started watching the show not really knowing what it was. I watched both seasons within a week. Now I’m watching reactors like you to see things I missed. You have a lot of good insights. I’m eager to see your take on the rest of the episodes. Won’t tell you any spoilers.

ClaudieTV

Ah yes Severance really does get you like that! It's wonderful and so glad you get to relive it! :)

Meri2700

This is the best episode so far, I even got emotional and shed a tear :'V (Poor Irv, poor Burt, poor Dylan, poor Mark, poor Helly... Poor everyoneeeeee TwT)

Meri2700

Also Maroon cameo lol
