Coach Lasso has his first game with his new club, but will he be able to get the team to even like him?

Rebecca is obsessed with his biscuits (not a euphemism) and possibly jealous of someone else giving Ted attention...

Happy giggles!

3rd Like - 1st comment. I'm so excited that my mind went blank. Ha! Can't believe that you didn't mention "Pissbiscuits" LoLz ALSO: when Nathan breaks the window is so something that would happen to me. Oh man, laughing myself out of my chair. As always, thank you Claudie. Cheers!

Your joy about this show is so infectious, I love it. I saw "Ted Lasso" a while ago and am re-discovering it with you and through your eyes and it's so much fun...☺️ Since this is a Bill Lawrence show, you get lighthearted fun and heavy emotions in the same amount. I love the speed with which they shoot the jokes at you, you can't blink for a second or you'll miss a pun. Fun fact: The "elder statesman" player, former Chelsea Champions League star Roy Kent (cleary a Roy Keane rip-off 😀) is played by Brett Goldstein, who is one of the head writers of the show. Brendan Hunt, who plays coach Beard, is another one. I think you called Keely the clubs "mascot" last episode. I really like that this (intended) picture of her gets cracks and the real person behind the facade begins to shine through. You can clearly see Rebecca is a torn person. She actually starts to like Ted (who doesn't), but doesn't allow herself to act on it, because that could put her whole vengeance plan into jeopardy. Unfortunately she doesn't give a sh.. about the people who actually work for and truly love the club...🙈 Another fun fact: Hanna Waddingham stated jokingly that loving the biscuits was her greatest acting in this show, because she actually despised them - they where made only to look good and not go to waste, nobody cared about their taste...😅 That's about all I got on this episode, since we're still in the middle of the build-up. As always, can't wait to see your next reactions...🤩

Claudie, you’re already starting to get that perpetual “Ted Lasso watcher” smile. And yes, the show is as deep as it is hilarious…

Gotta be honest, I was so focused on watching the show that I forgot to look at your reaction 🤭 Every time you paused I was like "oh yeah, Claudie is here!" 😅

Trisha Gorrell

You were right; their home field is Crystal Palace's stadium.

Ah I knew Brett Goldstein was a writer but didnt know Brendan Hunt is too! That's so so cool! The fact the biscuits are awful is so fucking funny! Excited to share more!

I love how much you’re loving this show! It’s such a feel good watch. I also love Nathan, he’s so sweet!

Skorm

He makes them himself, I knew it! That’s so fitting, what a nice guy. Great episode!

I love the “let’s show Crystal Palace whose house this is.” Apparently, CP let them use their stadium as long as they got to beat them in that game.

As an American, I am sure of two things. 1. Jaffa Cakes are biscuits 2. The strawberry ones are rubbish. Also, the gag with the cereal only hits if you know that here in the US, our shredded wheat cereal is small and bite sized.
