It is so engrossing. At its best, it is hard to even look away from the screen. The acting, the script, and the cinematography are all first class. Bloody gruesome, though. And I really don't like all the smoking, but I'm sure it is faithful to the times.

I forgot how quickly things escalate in this show and how packed the episodes are. We're on episode 2, and like 5-6 episodes worth of things happened already. Also, shout out my favorite character Curly.

It’s talked about more now, but single moms are still super common. (Here at least) 35:32 - Man… Cillian Murphy is such an amazing actor. That look… holy shit. O-Town Bear

Everyone in this show is perfectly cast but as I said in the last episode, I love watching Helen McCrory do her craft. Would have loved to have seen her on a stage. The writing is top notch and as you pointed out, the set design is immaculate. Tommy is playing Chess while everybody else is trying to play Checkers. Two episodes in and I feel like I've watched an entire movie already. LoLz. What a great show. Thank you, Claudie.

Just noticed the collection icon, love it (Mind you I’ve loved all of them). Absolutely loving this show so far. It’s so beautifully dirty, perfect. It’s obvious why it took off so massively.

The sets are absolutely incredible! If you ever happen to be around Black Country area then this was filmed at the living museum. I’ve been and it’s absolutely fantastic, went into the church and down all the streets and things. Definitely worth a visit.
