Polly scares me - in a good way (LoLz) // That scene between Polly and Grace was peak levels intensity. // Ada wtf?! // To Danny Whizz-Bang // Those digs at Campbell by the officer were deep (Ha!) // That ending was mental. Absolutely agree on your take of power dynamics and how skillful they are at showing strength and weakness in all characters. Can't wait for S2 - thanks, Claudie. Cheers!

PS: I wanted to add that this is one of the very few instances (for me) where the use of modern music in a period set-piece works. I guess it all comes down to the music chosen has the feel of the show so it works on that level. Unlike say, "A Knight's Tale" where I absolutely hated it because they used big radio hits.

This show is just amazing, you hit the nail on the head with your analysis at the the end. The characters are all multi layered and you just fall in love with them and root for them and feel their emotions with them. Great story writing, Great acting, Great music, Great cinematography it has it all........ cant wait to catch up with season 2
