Here we go. S4. A change of gears (sort of). You know, I find with Tommy - at first you're behind him but as the show goes on you kinda want to see him fail (LoLz). Nice to see the family living well and...happy. Ha! What a great first episode. Wow. Thanks, Claudie. Cheers!

By order of the Peaky blinders, see. It works better than you’d expect

Watched to the end finally and … yeah, same face. Just staggering. First things first, I hate Linda. She’s such a horridly oppressive presence. The actress is doing a great job of making me despise the character. The big thing I noticed is the change in Ada. Fancy coat, nice car, driver. The communist went away real quick when the money showed up. Polly’s breakdown hit like a ton of bricks. No camera trickery to show her state of mind, it just feels stunned like Michael, and how I felt, watching this powerhouse of a woman just fall to bits. Adrian Brody just isn’t intimidating to me. I laughed because to me he seemed like a kid playing gangster. Maybe it was the overly tilted hat compared to the other two but it just didn’t land for me. I’ve probably got more but I’m just stunned from the ending. Seriously gotta catch up, this is so good.

'Adrian Brody just isn’t intimidating to me. I laughed because to me he seemed like a kid playing gangster.' - Dude, yes! He is no way near as intimidating as the priest or even Campbell, he's a caricature and it's so interesting to see!
