Does Chris Rock Think Jada Pinkett Smith Slapped Him? / With Guest Leslie Gray Streeter

Chris Rock’s Netflix special, Selective Outrage, was the comedian’s year-in-the-making response to Will Smith slapping him at the Oscars. Yet, Rock seems to direct his very selective outrage rage at Jada Pinkett Smith, the woman Rock publicly insulted who never actually slapped him. Why is Rock so fixated on Jada? (He literally held his live special in her home town.) And is this part of a larger pattern regarding Rock’s treatment of Black women? Helping me dissect Rock’s slap back performance is Baltimore Banner columnist and author Leslie Gray Streeter.
