The bedroom is hers and it shows. Haruna curls up on the bed, red sweater dress bunching softly at the hem, white sleeves pushed just above her wrists. The pantyhose trace a clean line from the edge of her dress to where her feet tuck beneath her, and the x-shaped ornament in her hair catches light from the lamp like it is the last detail that makes the whole picture feel complete. She smiles at nothing in particular, and somehow that is more than enough.
