The sunset bleeds into the sea until it is impossible to tell where one ends and the other begins. Asuna walks along the water's edge, the red two-piece catching the last warm rays, wet sand glistening beneath her steps. She pauses and turns toward the fading light, the breeze pulling her hair across her face, and for a moment she looks like someone who stepped out of a loading screen and decided the real world was worth staying in.

夕焼けが海に溶け込み、どこで一方が終わりもう一方が始まるのか見分けがつかなくなる。明日奈は波打ち際を歩き、赤いツーピースが最後の温かな光を受け、濡れた砂が足元できらめく。立ち止まり、沈みゆく光の方へ振り返ると、風が髪を顔にかける。ロード画面から抜け出して、現実世界にいる価値があると決めた誰かのように見える、ほんの一瞬。
