The living room is soft with late afternoon light and the lamp has nothing to prove yet. Koharu stretches across the couch, one arm folded behind her head, the black tank top riding up just slightly at the waist where the jeans sit low and comfortable. Her side ponytail falls off the edge of the cushion, and her purple eyes drift toward the window where the curtains move like they are breathing along with the day. The plant is thriving, the sunlight is endless, and she looks like someone who finally believed the house when it told her to stay a while.
