The person who asked Erika asked for more, so here it is!

The lantern keeps its quiet count and the tatami remembers everything. The kimono is gone in places it hadn't planned to be, pelvic curtain swept aside, sleeves rumpled past her shoulders, rope still loose at her waist as though it stopped being a knot a while ago. Wall to floor and back, the room maps the movement: hands flat against wooden planks, knees printed in the tatami's weave, hair loose against the futon. By the end her breath has caught the pace of the lantern and the silence comes back in pieces, soft and earned.

The character is adult (18+) and represented as such.
